Never bought or constructed a PT before a friend suggested NPT - we found them very helpful before we purchased and then again during construction. The design makes it super easy to get it right!

I would recommend the polytunnel as most likely the best one you could buy in the UK. It is very strong and is of very high quality. That said there could be some easy improvements with some minor design changes. For example the bolts on the ends of the floor rails (that connect to the brackets that hold the uprights and also the brace bars slightly protrude into the floor level growing space (only an issue if you want to have raised beds butted up to the internal rails) it takes a few cm away from the internal perimeter, multiply this by 7.5Mx3.5M and that’s a good 2 square metre of floor space lost. The keyhole clamps for the ventilation don’t fit as well as the keyhole clamps for the brace bars (must be a different manufacturer). Also the tools should be in the first bag. There was also a missing part - the draft excluders, which I called about and they said they would send those out - but they didn’t (hence 4 stars) not a big deal as they seem superfluous. Anyway the tunnel itself is top class and I’m more than happy with it. Just give yourself a week to build it!

Since July 2024, we have been supported by David Meacham, Serena and Tom from your office. They have been amazingly patient, knowledgeable and helpful regarding an 20+ year old NP Structures poly tunnel we bought second hand. With their help and encouragement we managed to erect it correctly ourselves (4 old fogies age range 64 to 79) but we knew we did not have the skill or strength to skin it ourselves so asked for your help once again.

Tom, bless him, provided a list of your trusted constructors with recommendations for those more local to us off the A19 Selby to Doncaster road. I spoke to Tom of TDH construction and busy as they were they squeezed us in and they came to our rescue last Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

We just want to tell you how amazingly pleased we were with Tom and Oliver! They worked like Trojans not sitting down once, they even ate on the hoof! Their work was exemplary and they were happy to explain things to us as they went along. There is no way we could have put the plastic skin on ourselves and we are so glad that you recommended them.

The boys were speedy, tidy, helpful and polite and did not cut corners.
We felt you should know what good ambassadors you have for your company as they continued the professional image initiated by David, Serena and Tom.
We would have no hesitation in recommending you, your staff and contractors to anyone after our experiences.

Northern Polytunnels has one of the best customer service attitudes that I have ever come across. We bought a 30ft tunnel from them a few years ago, and then latterly a side vent kit. After two or three years, the polythene on the vent degraded and started to fall apart. I emailed them to see if they sold replacement polythene, and to my surprise, they replaced it free of charge. Customer service over an above. Brilliant company. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Originally purchased tunnel covering over 5 years ago and still in excellent condition. I have recently ordered more product for a new tunnel and the order was received swiftly and in good condition. Would highly recommend

I bought my polytunnel from Northern Polytunnels over 10 years ago and it has lasted very well. Unfortunately recent storms have ripped off the cover. I wanted to order a new one from Northern Polytunnels as I was pleased with the quality of the polythene and thought they would have the exact measurements. Sadly despite two phone calls and an email they have failed to get back to me. Really disappointed with such poor customer service.

Buyer beware! This company only gives a year guarantee on sheet. I expected more than a year from a sheet so not fit for purpose. Uv degeneration on a door cover after 13 months cost me £65 to get new trims, luckily I had spare cover from roof recover or I would have also had cover cost too. Now the roll up curtains has split in the same way as gone brittle. Leaving my tunnel at risk for winter storms. A clear fault in the product provided. UV shelf life of a year is shocking. I'm facing an even larger bill to fix this curtain failure. Shame as future trade of recovering the tunnel will not got to NP now I know they have a very short guarantee, wish I had been made aware of this before purchasing. Hopefully this review helps someone avoid this stress. I live in Scotland.... the grey North .... not a sunny climate

good products delivered promptly to remote location what more do you want?

Have had the easy build polytunnel for 4 years now. All the parts were delivered in a timely manner and nothing was missing. The components of the polytunnel are of a high quality and when put together make a very sturdy construction. Our local neighbourhood was recently hit by a tornado which took part of our roof off and caused major damage locally. I observed the polytunnel as the tornado passed over and it inflated the polythene and I expected it to take off but it stayed firm and no damage was done to it. I wish I could have said the same about my house. Well what can I say, good product, good service and tornado proof.

Except for the screws, the metal parts of the polytunnel are of a high quality. It is a good product. What lets this company down is poor customer service and poor instructions: having supplied me with a set of timber pieces for the door that were less than the diameter specified, to the extent that the pieces didn't fit with the metal fittings, or fit with each other, I was told that this was within the supplier's accepted tolerance. Well, it wasn't within my tolerance as a customer or a carpenter. Instead of being re-supplied, I was forced to improvise and use my own (higher quality) screws to resolve the problem. Essentially, they blamed their timber supplier, and took no responsbility. Why make videos specifying dimensions when you don't supply to those dimensions? This kind of thing might be OK if you've put up several before, but for the first time it is confusing and disconcerting. Also, the claim that you can complete a tunnel in two days on your first attempt is complete fiction. I'm a highly competent DIYer, and it took me at least a week. I'm happy with the tunnel, but it was a bit of an ordeal putting it up. Essentially, you're on your own.

Though I haven't put the polytunnel up yet, delivery was spot on. Assuming all the bits are there, they look pretty top notch to me.

Our first polytunnel is going strong after 4 years, it survived all the fierce storms we had in the NE that took out trees and flattened forestry plantations so would totally recommend the polytunnels. Recently ordered plastic and other accessories for a second poly, good price, service and products.

Easy ordering process, minimal delivery costs, packed really well for ease of transport. The staging is excellent and it is the fourth set we’ve purchased for our tree nursery.
