The windows and doors are top class and very good value they have very handy extra features

From the outset I would like to point out that my view & comments relate to NorDan Aberdeen, I can’t comment on the service provided by other locations. In my 37 years in business, I’ve only had the misfortune of dealing with a handful of companies with customer service as poor as NorDan Aberdeen. From the start communication was poor, emails would remain unanswered for weeks, follow-up emails were ignored & leaving voicemails appeared to be the only way to get a response. Eventually I asked for a new contact in the hope things would improve, unfortunately nothing changed & in fact the service provided by the team leader proved to be similar & on occasion worse. In my opinion, NorDan Aberdeen appear to lack any form of senior management which in turn has created a culture without accountability. Over the past few months I’ve spoken with many contractors, professionals & end users about NorDan with virtually all saying the same thing, the product is very good, but the service provided by NorDan Aberdeen is terrible. NorDan I’m so disappointed, we really liked the product, but the terribly poor service provided has forced us to look elsewhere. 

I was really impressed with the pre sales service that I received from Adam, Sarah and the team at Exeter. This was the first time that we have used Nordan and it was very positive. We have now received the units and they have all be installed. The quality and finish is excellent, we will definitely continue to us Nordan for future projects.

The quality and design of the frames was exactly what we were looking for (natural wood on the inside, aluminium clad on the outside), giving a natural look to our interior. The windows and doors have a very good warranty. The service in the Exeter showroom was very good and helped in refining our choices, however one of our windows was a bay window and the staff failed to offer a suitable exterior cill for the design and configuration of the window. It took several attempts to get NorDan to acknowledge their error, however once over this hurdle they supplied the correct cill. Once the windows and doors were delivered, NorDans service engineer (Mark) was extremely helpful and came to site 2 or 3 times to ensure everything was working correctly. Overall the product and service are very good and we are happy that we chose NorDan for our self build project.

We have used Nordan products on numerous projects of ours and the quality is second to none. Not only is the product great, the customer service is also brilliant. We use the Exeter branch for all our orders, Adam Parnell being our main contact and we would be happy to recommend him to anyone for Nordan products!

Great windows and really helpful customer service

Great experience with Nordan Windows. The contemporary door screen and side screen look superb and are finished to a very high standard. Good communication and a smooth overall service.

I am very pleased with my new front door although the company NorDan recommended have not returned to repaint the threshold which had blistered within 10 days of installation.

Adam and everyone i dealt with at Nordan were amazing. Very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Everything went very smoothly and im very happy with the finished windows and doors indeed.

Adam come up with a really good price for our top of the range Alu clad timber frame tripled glazed windows and doors, which was very little more than a ‘competitor’ offering lower quality UPVC windows. Sarah was extremely helpful in managing the order and accommodating the changes we needed to make. Delivery was on schedule and the driver was very accommodating. The finished house looks truely great and has an EPC of A 114 (which is about as good as you can get), thanks in no small part to the extremely thermally efficient glazing. We can thoroughly recommend!

Tripple glaze, good quality windows.

I recently installed triple-glazed windows from Nordan, and I’m extremely pleased with the quality. The windows feel durable, look modern, and provide excellent insulation — I’ve already noticed a big difference in warmth and noise reduction. The service was great as well; the team was knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend Nordan Windows to anyone looking for high-quality, energy-efficient solutions

Sliding patio door has been installed for over a year and still not right. Very difficult to close and lock properly. They have changed out the handle mechanism as it was so flimsy and felt like it was going to break. The new one is not much better. Now there are two big gouge marks in the frame where it is interfering with something. We have had continual problems with the doors which usually arrived with scores and marks on them. JML, the kit builder installed the windows and doors. Nordan after market service has not been very good. They have not been able to resolve satisfactorily the issues. I would not recommend Nordan at all. I believe they ahve had QC issues regarding the sliding patio doors according to our builder JML. Avoid at all costs. I think the manufacturer, Nordan needs to take some responsibility for the quality of the installer and if faced with serious complaints, they should take it seriously. The basic windows are OK but they are no better than the competition and I looked at a few before taking JML's recommendation to go with Nordan.

Ordered 2 * 2 door patio doors. Excellent product delivered on time and the price was very competitive. I had bought a front and back door from them 3 years ago and again product, service and price were excellent. My go to company for all doors and windiws

These are the best windows on the market, great service from Adam in the Exeter office. The mechanisms and movement of the sliding doors is plush and top quality. I highly recommend!

Having recently worked with Nordan's Exeter office for the supply of windows and external doors for 4 houses, we have found them to be efficient and knowledgeable with great products. The windows and doors are energy efficient and look great.

I moved to a new build property in 2013 which has Nordan patio doos and windows. One of the doors had a fungus growing on the bottom part since the beginning but I didn't pay attention to it and all I did was I regularly removed the fungus body. This year I discovered that the whole wooden panel is rotten. I contacted Nordan to find out if they can either address the problem, as the fungus must have been present in the wood prior to the installation, or at least send me the wooden panel, which must cost the company less than £10. Instead, I was told that the warranty has expired, that according to the T&C's I meant to repaint all doors and windows every year, and all I can do now is to purchase a complete new door. So good luck to any future customers with their products and aftercare!
