With an ocean between us…..
My husband and I are traveling from South Carolina US to London to celebrate our 25th anniversary in October with a cruise and some shows. The trick is I am handicapped, so sometimes I must speak to someone in person in order to have an experience that best suits my needs. With an ocean between us, Liam was able to help me completely, even considering my time and physical restrictions. It took a combination of emails and phone calls to figure things out.
When I arrive for the show I will be comfortable knowing that someone on your end took the time to help and listen so that my special needs will be met. Please extend my thanks to Liam. It’s people like Liam who keep people like me coming back for more. Cheers
Understated Diamond!
In an age of poor customer service from the majority of companies that exist, it's nice to come across one of the few that not only provide great customer service, but excel at it.
I sent an email to book tickets for a show at a Nimax Theatre and whilst I have sent several before, all with great customer service, todays was surpassed with excellence.
I suggested some seats to be booked, but I received an email back from Ellen, asking what my disability requirements were and that they may be able to assist with better seats. No more than two minutes later my booking invoice arrived and had been given much better seats, meeting all our requirements. To suggest Ellen was a diamond is an understatement, but what she did, shows that there are still people that give outstanding customer service. Well done Nimax for being great at customer service, but well done Ellen for excelling at it.
Superb access service
Hadestown was amazing but the review I am giving is for the access service provided. Attending the theatre for neurodivergent people can be a stressful experience. The assistance provided by Nimax from the quick response to my first correspondence with them to the moment we were escorted out after the performance through a quiet exit was outstanding and removed much of the stress. Thank you to everyone involved.
Extremely helpful staff!…
The staff have been extremely helpful,especially Garry and Tsiona,would highly recommend.Like an idiot I booked the tickets for the show for the wrong night and by the rules I should have lost my money but the staff put themselves out for me and exchanged the tickets to the next night,couldn’t have been more helpful!

I've been a difficult customer recently…
I've been a difficult customer recently in that I've had to change the date of a show I was due to see several times due to an ongoing personal situation. Every time I have contacted them they have been understanding and have rebooked my tickets for a date that is going to work for me. I can't name people specifically because I've spoken to many people but you all have been wonderful and so quick at responding. What a fantastic team you have!
Conman cashier
Went to see a afternoon show at appollo theatre on shaftsbury avenue in London this week .
I used my bank card to pay which went through, the cashier at the box office said I'd have to use my card again as it hasn't printed ticket.
When I got home after the show I checked my bank and was charged twice and money taken from my account.
My only advice is don't use this theatre, if you do,pay by cash,or check your bank after to make sure your not charged double,as you will have to get your bank to deal with it or email the company with all the details.

My Mum has suffered with ill health recently & now in a wheelchair, I decided to book some shows to cheer her up, Nimax were great & big thank you to Lauren, really helpful & sorted us some great seats with lots of consideration for my Mums disabilities, all booked & ready to go!

Phenomal performance; abysmal experience.
First of all, the show itself was fantastic, the cast did a phenomenal job, and the visual effects were outstanding throughout. Can't fault the performance.
The experience however... Awful. Purchased some rather expensive seats as a birthday treat for my partner, we were really looking forward to our trip to London, to enjoy both part 1 & 2, which was completely ruined by a school trip that happened to be seated entirely around us. Constant noise, chatting, squeaking chairs, and teachers routinely "shhh-ing". Completely took us (and everyone around us) out of the experience.
We thought originally that maybe enduring part one would then free us up to enjoy part two once the school kids had gone home, but no, they were there for both parts.
The staff were informed by many people that this was a major distraction, but sadly I'm not really sure what they could do about it.
Just a really disappointing way to experience such a fantastic show.

Flexible and Compassionate, Highly Recommended
I was extremely touched by how incredible Tsiona has been. Booked 'The Curse Child' for this August 2025. Unfortunately our daughter had suffered a large bleed in her spinal cord and is under intensive rehabilitation for the rest of the year. Tsiona was able to move our show until next year plus finding us an accessible seating for our daughter. During an extremely difficult and life changing time for our family, they have shown compassion, flexibility and swift action. It was stress-free and easy. Thank you so much!
Customer service exceeded expectations
We couldn’t get to our show because all trains were cancelled! Despite the policy of only offering exchanges with 48 hours’ notice, Tsiona called me within minutes of receiving my email on the day of the show, and was able to work with the show’s booking office to find us alternative availability on a new date. Fingers crossed we will get there next time! Top customer service, which exceeded my expectations.

I emailed Nimax Theatres with a question regarding their accessibility and pricing in regards to my son who is visually impaired. I received an email back very quickly with easy to understand details in response. I forwarded the information I was asked for and received a provisional booking, again very quickly. I then went on to book and pay for the show via the link, which was also very easy. Super helpful and friendly communication. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic customer service
Absolutely fantastic customer service! I spoke to Jamie via email about booking disabled/accessible tickets and I was bowled over by the service I received. It was fantastic that he was with me the whole way through the conversation, rather than it going between different agents, and the speed of his reply was incredible. He was friendly, knowledgable and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to book with Nimax Theatres again. Thank you so much Jamie, you're a massive asset to the team.
Great and efficient help booking concession tickets!
I just booked tickets for Hadestown and Six with a very lovely attendant called Emily! She was so helpful and efficient with the whole process, since I was asking for concession tickets due to disability. I was amazed to learn that they offer concessions not only for me, but a companion, too, and that made it all the more enjoyable! Thank you, Emily, you did a stellar job. I am now looking forward even more to the shows!
Excellent customer service
I had booked tickets for HP, but two weeks before I was due to see it, was gifted a pair - it was such a brilliant show, wanted to see again, but not so soon! Nimax kindly swapped them, for exactly the same seats for a few months time - very quick and easy, was very impressed by the service I received. I'd also mention that when we went, two weeks ago, the front of house staff were also great - noticed I walked with crutches, so whisked me to a side (level) entrance, and pointed out the accessible loo etc.
Absolutely terrific service
I had to change the date of a ticket, due to a family illness. I was able to do it online, and within an hour had a confirmation of my new date. Terrific service - very impressed and grateful.
