Great Buyer Experience
Nick from Nest in Essex was the estate agent for the house I was buying and was excellent throughout the whole process. Quick to setup my viewings, fantastic communication(!) and really quick to resolve blockages in the process. A genuine, friendly guy with great experience. Thank you Nick & Nest in Essex team!

Fantastic service and communication
Thank you to Nick and the team for helping us to sell our property as well as helping with numerous questions we had when purchasing a property. The extra help and advice when buying our property was very much appreciated. It was a long journey but Nest were always on hand to offer reassurance and kept us up to date when necessary.
We'd received a recommendation from both our mortgage advisor and also my Brother (Nest were the agent for his sale and purchase) and I would absolutely recommend Nick/Nest to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Not Impressed!
Filled in form on Rightmove to view a property, no-one bothered calling back, so phoned them and arranged a viewing.
A day before the viewing received a text to say the viewing had been cancelled and to contact Nest for more information which I did. Spoke to a pleasant lady who said she didn't have the information to hand but would get the person dealing with this particular property to call back but once again no call back.
Would therefore definitely not use nest if I was selling my property as I'd be losing out on potential buyers!!

Selling my leasehold flat was far from straight forward, but Rachel did an amazing job of getting it across the line. She went way above and beyond the norm, was always super quick to give me any new information and pass on info to prospective buyers. She is a really friendly lady, makes such an effort, often working far outside of normal hours, was constantly at the end of the phone with and queries that I didn't understand. Just a totally great experience. Thoroughly recommend.

NEST is the best!
After a lengthy drawn-out process, I am finally in my new home in Berkshire. There were a lot of hold-ups on the way, (through no fault of Nest) and I was let down by someone who had wanted to buy the property, but then decided to cut all contact with Nest. Extremely rude and inconsiderate of them. Turns out they decided to buy a different property, but didn't bother telling anyone else. This held things up for quite some time, and because I was anxious not to lose the property I wanted to buy, in the end I had to reduce the price so this did not happen.
Dan kept me in regular touch with how the local market was going prior to my securing a buyer, which I found very useful. He was very helpful, pleasant and patient during this stressful time, and whenever I spoke to him he made me feel calmer.
So thank you Dan, and I would like to recommend Nest to anyone who is thinking of selling/purchasing

Absolutely the worst company and a terrible service. Everything seems to be outsourced to other companies and it seems they all can not communicate with each other. Never stick to any timelines and communication is poor. Do not fix items requested to be fixed and ignore requests and dont fix anything, Do not use at all unless you want to chase people around and get nowhere.

To provide some context and clarity, let's flip through the pages of your tenancy journey:
Over the past year, your rental agreement experienced a few ups and downs, with you requesting the contract being cancelled, then not cancelled, and then cancelled, then in just one person’s name to then back to the original agreement. It's been an interesting journey, to say the least.
When you reported a repair to the shower tempreture being tempermental during a routine inspection by one of our team in November, we were on it like a seagull on a chip, providing you with a plumber's details and arrangements for the repair the same day of your inspection. However, it seems this swift action didn't lead to a resolution as you didn’t action this and instead never reported the shower again as a problem to the office, you only mentioned it in passing comment on the next inspection. I’m assuming this is because it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience as between two residents you still had the use of another shower, and a bath.
Later, you requested a renewal of your tenancy for 12 months, which 3 months into this, you requested an early contract cancellation, which the landlord agreed to in the spirit of flexibility. on your departure, we found a few broken items and an oven requiring a deep clean. True to our commitment to efficiency, we spent the next day sourcing the most cost-effective solutions for these issues, diligently documenting all quotes. We then provided everything including the evidence to you.
We'd like to clear up a misunderstanding in your review: we don't outsource our services, with the exception of plumbing. We're skilled agents, but even we know our limits when it comes to pipework :) during your tenancy this is the only thing that was ever 'outsourced'.
One thing we pride ourselves on is our communication. We believe in going the extra mile for our tenants, responding promptly to all queries, regardless of the time. (for example several conversations with you, up to late some evenings via whatsapp or call, of which were non urgent and could of waited until the following day, however in the aim of providing a outstanding service, we always commited and continued these chats, in order to help) Even when it's a 10 pm phone call from you, about finding out where a postbox is (just 3 days ago). Now that's commitment!
We've always strived to treat our tenants with respect and fairness. The issues raised in your review only surfaced after the discussion of a deposit deduction, which was a bit of a plot twist, up until this point you never once raised any complaint, or negative feedback to Nest.
We understand that your review is based on your feelings at this time, and we respect that. However, we believe it might not reflect the entirety of your experience with us and instead be reaction to having money deducted which you have been chasing for several times over the day we took to review everything. We work tirelessly to deliver excellent service, as evidenced by numerous positive reviews from satisfied tenants.
Despite your review, we wish both you and Ellie all the best in your future endeavors.

The worst Estate agent EVER !!!!
The worst Estate agent i have ever dealt with. I call them to book a viewing and get directed to a central office somewhere in Liverpool. They take my details and then never call me back. I give them 2 days and call again. I get told the Rayleigh office is unmanned and they are working remotely. I leave my details again to book a viewing and nobody calls me back.
We are currently at 5 days and NO REPLY !!!!
If you have your house up for sale with NEST i would change agent immediately. You are losing viewers on a daily basis.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
I have looked into this and i would like to clear up a couple of things here if i may.
you originally called on the 13th of August (Saturday) just after 4pm. you were told by the agent dealing with the call (which i can confirm is a external team, not based in Liverpool) where they informed you all the agents were out of the office at present conducting viewings and someone would call you back on the next working day. This was about another property, you were called back on the 14th (being a sunday) to book in a time (which happened) and you subsequently viewed the property on the 15th. where Dan gave you a tour, After the viewing Dan tried to contact you for feedback of the property to deliver to our client but couldn't get hold of you for this feedback.
You then called the office on Tuesday 23rd in the afternoon to explain you wanted a viewing on a separate property on the 25th or 26th which this message was passed onto the agent dealing with that property.
You then called again 3 days later on Friday 26th, where your message was then passed onto my colleague who then called you and booked into this property.
Now, what i will agree, is there was a delay between calling you Tuesday and you speaking to us on Friday.
But, as explained by Daniel during your call, He was dealing with an offer on the property and these conversations were ongoing in the background with the owner not booking any further viewings until the situation with the offer was clear. the moment that was clear you were booked in.
so i will accept that perhaps we could of communicated the situation clearer with you to manage your expectations a bit better, however i do feel your statement "i would change agent immediately and you are losing viewers" its a bit strong given the situation here and "worst estate agent EVER" is a bit over the top.
I also would recommend next time you are unhappy with a company be it be us, or any other business in any other industry it would be wise to ask for a call back from a supervisor or manager if you are unhappy before leaving a 1* review as 9/10 times things could be resolved easy enough, often it is just a basic human mistake which could be resolved, and dealt with in a way to ensure it doesn't happen again and reviews like this can be damaging to small businesses without the full story being explained.
I thank you again for your review, i hope your experience on viewing the next property with us tomorrow is more pleasant.

Nest were brilliant.
I cannot recommend Nest enough. From the start to finish of a house move which took 10 months from valuation to completion. The whole process was very stressful, but the team at Nest were very supportive and efficient. Without Nick's help, advice and persistence the sale may not have been completed. We have been in our fabulous new home for one week and the trauma of getting the deal finalised now seems a distant memory. Thank you so much.

This is the 2nd time I have used Nick and the team at N
est, and honestly why would you even consider looking at other agents. (Yes, there was a certain high st agent that valued my property at 45k less than the final agreed price, thankfully I didn't use them!)
Nick is part of that rare breed of honest and fair estate agents.
From initial phone call through to completion I could count on Nest to be there 24/7 (and I do mean, literally 24/7!) and to take the stress out of the selling process.
The property was marketed superbly. Nick gave me and honest range of what he thought the property was worth, and we hit the exact number he said we would.
We had many viewings in the first weekend alone, after the very first viewing, Nick said "They'll be back, trust me", and sure enough, 4 weeks later I had the exact offer I was asking for.
After the sale was agreed, Nick's support team were all over everything and kept me updated with the progression of the whole chain.
A big thank you to Nick, Karen and the rest of the team.

Nick and the team at Nest have been fantastic and while I will be posting a full review once everything is signed (don't like to jinx things!) I would recommend them for anyone looking to sell a property. From a professional photographer who took outstanding photos, through to Nick being highly responsive and available pretty much 24/7 to answer any questions, they have been a pleasure to deal with. Do not overlook these guys for the sake of a known name and shop front on the highstreet, they really do deliver!
And they also act as a buying agent on your behalf, taking the hassle out of negotiating with estate agents which was big plus for us. Thank you, Nest!

Very dissatisfied as I personally know the agent involved.

Thanks for the review, As you know, we were dealing with a Landlord who was living abroad and insisted on using his own tradesman, who unfortunately was very unreliable, in the end we went through the insurance company and had a wait for the processes they had to go through before fixing the issue, we are aware Kyle was persistent is trying to get a solution asap, however due to factors out of our control this wasn't as quick as we would liked on this occasion, nevertheless, thank you for you review.
