Tom Cottrell was a great estate agent from start to finish. Commincative, diligent and friendly throughout. This was our first home so lots we were unfamiliar with but he was always patient.

I cannot recommend Tom Cottrell highly enough for the work he put in to sell our flat in North London. Imagine if you will, all of the stereotypes surrounding estate agents - the smarminess, cheap suits, overconfidence and endless spam phonecalls - and lay this completely to one side. Tom could not be further from this - a genuinely down to earth and refreshingly honest guy who was candid from the start about the property, prospects of sale and valuation.

An offer was received soon after the property went onto the market, something we believe was in part due to Tom's approach to the sale. Throughout the conveyancing process, which was protracted due to unforeseen delays, Tom was with us every step of the way, putting the hard yards in behind the scenes, liaising with our buyers and their solicitors and providing valuable advice to overcome several sticking points. It was a pleasure to work with Tom - we are really glad we went with Nested!

All aspects of the service worked really well but it was his efforts to get some impetus behind the purchasers' solicitors that made such a difference in the end.

The worse estate agent that I ever had to deal with
1. Trying to persuade the buyer that was introduced by my previous agent to buy his other properties, then taking credit for the purchase of my property by the same buyer
2. Making the process stressful, influencing the buyer to doubt purchasing my property.
3. Constantly calling to put pressure on me for non existent reasons or to push for unrealistic completion dates
4. My solicitors were doing mediating work as he was so difficult to communicate with, failing on doing his job, but still wanting commission

Tom managed my sale and purchase and I honestly am not sure we would have made it all happen without his determination! We completed both as part of a 5 house chain within 2.5 months from offer to completion.

There were multiple delays and complications on both sides but he always remained positive and supportive. Communication was easy, he was responsive and friendly throughout via email and text.

The online listing for my sale looked great, the photos were very well done, Tom came over himself to help the photographer get the best shots.
