Highly recommended.

I've been using Nasa for payroll for the last 2 years.
Very Professional, always get paid on time. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again if i needed to.

As a contractor in the defence industry I worked with Nasa Umbrella for over five years and found them extremely helpful and professional throughout, I would strongly recommend them.

Faultless; have been with them well over 2 years and any issues or complexities in tax, NI or pension, have always been dealt with swiftly and competently; v nice people on their staff as well. Always pay well on time and correctly - I guess that's most important!

The worst expeience i have had is with this Umberlla company who have never paid me on time. Had to take day off work to get my payment on the same day for a whole month. Never recommend to anyone again.

Excellent service from Nasa that processed my information for work quickly. I was paid on time from various assignments and would recommend using them again.

If I could give zero stars I would/ My first experience of an umbrella and this company is awful. Pay slips wrong every month with weeks of pay missing. The customer service is no good as they either are slow responding to emails or ignore them.

This the worst umbrella company’s take your money and never pay your expenses all I want is work and get my expenses back but this company has pushed me to led money of family and friends save your self the hassle and go somewhere else you’ll be mentally and financially better off

I had used this company previously for the umbrella service which were relatively cheap and efficient at the time and was pursuaded to transfer to the Ltd - accountancy service which was really poor and expensive. Years after I stopped using the Ltd company service I kept getting requests for self assessment from the HMRC as NASA failed to complete the winding up of my company properly. I ended up having to do it myself even though I'd already paid for NASA accountants to do it.
Last year I decided to return to consultancy work and asked them to handle the invoicing via the NASA Umbrella service as I did not want to use their Ltd service again. We agreed their fee and what the deductions would be and I priced my service to the client accordingly. At the same time I also did some work via an agency which was also paid via NASA umbrella. The deductions for agency paid work would be different as they also included the apprentice levy etc.
For some strange reason, even though I have not used an agency for the consultancy work NASA have also charged me the apprentice levy for the consultancy work as well - when asked why all the extra charges I was met with a blank response that everything that uses their service is inside IR35 and so the apprentice levy applies. This was never included in the illustration that they gave me when I engaged them for the consultancy portion of my work and it will be interesting to understand which agency they will allocate the apprentiship levy against when they submit it to the HMRC.
They appear to not value their customers (those of us who go out and earn the fees that they take) anymore and so I have left them and will never recommend them again. It is noticeable that the service has declined markedly - not just in terms of charging errors but also the fact that I have had to chase clients myself for payment or remind them to invoice clients long after timesheets have been submitted.
POOR SERVICE - Avoid.

I have to state that the apprenticeship levy did not form part of the NASA projection for the consultancy activity. It was only provided for the work carried out via an agency which was within IR35.

A stress free service provided by competent, understated and helpful people

I have been with Nasa for over 13 years. They are very professional. David lake is a star.

Do not use

as 6 months they cannot get anything correct I have not had one month where I haven’t had to chase them to do what there payed for every month I come here write a review and take it down hoping they will do what they say they will avoid at all costs do not use them unless you want to spend your working days dealing with them instead of doing what your payed to do .

I had an excellent experience using NASA as an Umbrella company. Set-up and payroll ran seamlessly and the help they provided with pension contributions was particularly good.

I have used NASA for a number of contracts and they’ve always been very helpful and proactive with prompt responses to questions about contracts and HMRC and no issues with payments. Recently I changed from Umbrella to Ltd using the NASA hybrid service and the transition was excellent, very smooth from start to finish especially when explaining to me all the changes in HMRC policies and procedures since I last used a Ltd company. Many thanks to Amber Milkins and Debbie Bryson for all their help and happy to recommend.

I've used several UK umbrella companies, and by far, Nasa has been my best experience. The costs are very low, the service is excellent, and they know what they're doing. Not one single SMH (smack my head) moment in a year. How many people can say that about their own HR department? If I had an issue with a pay run, they were working after hours to sort things with the employer. I'd gladly refer any of my colleagues.
