All the people I dealt with at Motus were very helpful Duncan was very accommodating when demonstrating and letting me try power chair.Tom came to day to set up and deliver power chair he explained in detail and spent time to set up chair for me

Great wheelchair service by the engineer Greg today - very reassuring

This is a good at-home sales and after-sales company who will send a good wheelchair mechanic to you, someone who knows the chair they are selling inside out; who understands the need to be balanced well in your new chair, and who knows how to achieve it.

I have a 6 year old daughter who uses a wheelchair. The NHS wheelchair does not provide a wheelchair that she can get around easily in. The waiting list to get reviewed is a year +, where we live and the admin of sorting it is a headache. We decided to go private to buy one to give her more freedom. It cost us £4000, which we asked our wider family to help pay for. A year later, the brakes were loose. We had a service, it cost a significant sum. A week or two later the brakes broke. We were told it was not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and it took months to sort and get an engineer out. When the engineer came he said the damage was more extensive than originally thought and I needed more equipment changes. I was then issued a £500 bill and my wheelchair is still broken. We are simply a family that is trying to give our daughter the best chance in life as all parents do. We are not made of money and these bills are significant. If you are looking to buy a wheelchair for your child, I would stay well clear as the upkeep is expensive and the warranty accounts for nothing given children will be children and of course things will break. Try other providers and look around more.

The engineer efficient unfortunately the same could not be said for the office wrong seat.

Lovely product really palessed, only reason for getting four stars not five was delivery time. Not Motuls fault as supplier was awaiting parts but otherwise service was great

Matt came to give me a demo of the Triride special compact HT in October, and I placed the order a few days after! I was kept notified of the progress of the build and shipping by Karen. It actually arrived sooner than I anticipated! Matt came back to set it up and do the handover. He is extremely knowledgeable, and even has the great idea of asking the customer to film him on a mobile phone attaching and detaching the Triride from the wheelchair so that you can watch it back whenever you need to. Had a minor issue afterward which he is booked in to come back and rectify, he even called me with some advice which was much appreciated!

Excellent support from Ashley Griffiths. Feel we needed more advice about weight of the chair.

Motus are amazing 🤩 the process to enable my Son to now enjoy his all terrain wheelchair was smooth due to the fantastic support from Duncan and Becky from start to finish.

Matt was really helpful in setting up and teaching me to use my Triride HD

An opportunity came up to buy part of the modular buggy 2nd hand. We checked with them it was compatible and bought it, but when the new seat arrived it didn’t fit. They said only 1 piece was needed and it wouldn’t take long, then changed their minds and said we had to order a whole new chassis, which meant we had to apply to 2 further charities. Finally got the funding when I also spoke directly to the manufacturer and they told me it would be fine with 1 small extra part. I complained and they did then order it quickly, but all the delays meant it took 8 months instead of 2 months. They said there was a communication issue with them and the manufacturer but it felt like they were just trying to make maximum profit which isn’t fair on the charities. The staff were apologetic but we will not be using them again.

This was my first time buying mobility equipment but they were supportive throughout the whole process, friendly and personable. I feel like nothing is too much trouble!
