Misleading/ inaccurate/hidden policy / ripoff

The London team has the most abhorrent customer service of any time in history.
Our decision to lease a Tesla automobile turned out to be regrettable.
During one year of his work with this organisation, he attempted to take a holiday twice but was denied both times for unreasonable excuses.
Following more than fifty emails in which I lodged complaints regarding deceptive company policies and the overcharging of my spouse for undone miles despite providing supporting evidence, we terminated the agreement due to egregious errors that are beyond my ability to articulate. In all honesty, the ordeal is not worth our time.
I do not advise; at all costs, prevent.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! Bad customer support team. Unprofessional! Beware of this company! They think they are clever by taking the p**** with drivers money, trying to force payments without drivers consent when its there fault!! Im taking this further from my experience and will claim every single rental money i paid!

As a Tesla driver with Moove UK

NOTICE & WARNING TO EXISTING AND NEW DRIVERS.

As a Tesla driver with Moove, with huge disappointment I've encountered a problematic and biased agreement that seems to favor Moove's interests. Despite their claimed excellence, their team struggles to address driver concerns.

Even after receiving weekly payments, without checking their bank account first whether payment have been received or not. Payments i make manually by bank transfer. By setting up a direct debt Moove takes what amount they feel like without your authorisation which i see this as fraud. They issue weekly statements one day before the weekly payment from your account is taken so they can take your money before you knowing about it and before you instruct your bank to cancel the direct debt it would be to late as the money is already taken.

Moove then activates alarm in the vehicle not taken into consideration that you may have a rider on board without cause, causing unnecessary stress to the rider and driver that also counts to humiliations. The alarm has been going off since 2 January 24 good start of the year thanks to Moove. I have contacted Moove by email as they confirm to contact by either email or via website when you call, as they aren't taken no calls until 8 January. I have not received any response at all whatsoever. The vehicle alarm is still active, and came active while on Xmas break, but their emails and calls are off till 8 January.

If you in a emergency there is nobody at there to get through until 8 January. This company is becoming insane I would never recommend anyone to this insane company they have proven themselves that they aren't what they say there are all rubbish. They cannot be trusted in anyway possible.

It's now causing me extreme loss of revenue everyday goes by. Further payments I will not be making until I recovered my loses first. Moove has forced me to breached the agreement. I am now seeking legal advice.

They also present accumulated excess mileage charges spanning six months, demanding immediate payment. They weekly statements do not clarify any excessive mileage. All evidence is there if required

This leads to frustration, as Moove prioritizes money over customer welfare, and not taken into consideration that drivers have home budget to keep to as well, and attempts to communicate with management prove elusive. Their front-line workers follow corrupted policies, and threats to terminate agreement seem more about making money from identifying faults than genuine concerns about wear and tear on the vehicle.

Moove closes complaint tickets without solving the issue and do not notify you of the outcome.

Their coordination with partners for MOT and TPH licensing can be problematic, with delays in releasing vehicles until payments are received. This process, coupled with partners' lack of trust in Moove, adds an inconvenience for Uber drivers, where time is crucial. You face humiliations along with other Moove drivers.

Subject: Urgent Attention Required: Company Reputation Concerns

Message for the Co-Founders,

I hope this message finds you well. I feel compelled to bring to your attention certain issues affecting your company's reputation. It appears that your staff, led by current management, is reluctant to engage directly with drivers to address concerns.

From my perspective, there seems to be a lack of visible management presence within the company. I believe direct communication and resolution with drivers are crucial to maintaining and improving the company's reputation. Please don’t forget the importance of drivers who spin the wheels day and night to bring your company profits and success in your business. When drivers require assistance there is nobody there by calling, where you can make serveral attempt for somebody to answer. We cannot wait around and make attempt to call again and again where time is precious for Uber drivers.

Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, as it directly impacts the overall perception of the company. Please take this matter very seriously as this is having huge impact on my livelihood and my personal finances as i am a full time uber driver. I don't expect anyone else to go through what your company has put me and my family in.

Moove's response appears excessive in self-defense. Although I initially gave a 5-star rating, the service became unexpectedly challenging once I joined. If you doubt this, I'm willing to offer evidence on Trustpilot. Today, I got an email at 14:38 stating the complaint ticket was closed after a phone conversation allegedly at 03:32 pm, a time when I had no incoming calls – a clear falsehood. Examining the specified times, it becomes evident that even the falsehoods presented don't align logically.

Wish I had signed up sooner

I was contemplating moving to a EV from my current hybrid. Was speaking to Zaid on and off for few months until I finally decided to go ahead with it after comparing with other competitors nothing beats moove best price on the market for Tesla, what sold it to me was no deposit. My current hybrid contract ended and I was on holiday while Zaid arranged everything for my vehicle to be ready as soon as I was back to get back to work. The onboarding sign up process was super easy and fast all my documents approved within hours all done online. Collection was very straight forward car was cleaned and prepped. Would definitely recommend moove wish I had signed up sooner.

This company is an organised SCAM owned by 2 Nigerians. You may never get out of the 5 year contract owning a car.

The onboarding is great and no deposit needed which is why you can see most of the 5 star reviews here. Mind you, the company only started about 2 years ago, so no driver has completed their contract and own a vehicle yet.

The company is a scam, an organised one for that matter. I can assure you that the chances you never make it pass your 5 years contractual period is 99.99%.

Apart from the fact that they have a poor support system once you are in contract with them, they will utilise every opportunity they can get to terminate the contract after you must have paid for years towards the vehicle. According to the contract, they reserve the right to terminate at anytime once any clause is breached including a delay in weekly rent. We all know that it is difficult to make 260 weekly payments for 5years without ever facing the reality of missing payment dates.

In my situation, the vehicle was down for almost 2 weeks due to repairs and PHV licensing. During this period there was no income. The company was very aware of the situation every step of the way. When the car was back on the road, I made payments for 2 weeks arrears but one week rent was still left which I promised to pay within the coming days. This is where the SCAM comes in. They used the clause in the contract to terminate the agreement.

Mind you, in that same contract, I have 4 weeks each year as holiday which is supposed to be rent free. I had not used mine and I had already been paying for close to a year. So, how can a genuine company terminate the contract of someone who had been paying for close to a year and still has 4 weeks rent free holiday unused because they are 1 or 2 weeks in arrears? According to basic mathematics, I could still sacrifice my holiday period for up to 4 weeks of arrears. The crazy part is, they even took my EV assistance fee from Uber which was over £1100 before cancelling the contract. That means, they are the one owing me not the other way round. This is a SCAM.

I will advise you to be very careful before going into contract with this company. You may never get out of it owning a car. They will look for every means to terminate your contract before the 5 year period. Google this company very well and see who are the owners, then you will begin to get the picture clearly, scammers in suits and tie. It is an organised SCAM owned by 2 Nigerians. Think carefully before you get into the trap.

Very bad customer service and communication

Before I get into the review of the bad and unprofessional service from Moove.

Just wanted to say the sales person I dealt with Ammar Shah and kaz from the maintenance team were great and always honest and up front with their communication and advice. However this is when the good service ends. Once you are on board they have appalling communication and threatening behavior.

I was constantly repeating myself and explaining my situation after an accident, every time I have called in for support, I was left to fend for myself and that's exactly how this company operates. Take my advice and don't join this company as there is nothing in the contract or service of this company in the favor of the driver/customer. Especially if you are involved in an accident and its not your fault.

They use a useless claims company who tell you straight away to pay the insurance excess fee without even getting in touch with the 3rd party (apparently they can't get hold of the 3rd party) even with a plate number and details provided.

I was left without a car for a week and still had pay the weekly rent even though I was unable to work. I was told I will still have to pay the weekly rent as I am under contract. As you can see there is nothing in the contract which will help you and Moove as a company wont consider any other option, besides a payment plan, which they never setup either.

As I said before when things go wrong for the customer, they will not help you. Support is so useless as they were supposed to set up a payment plan and never did which led on to late payment fees being added.

As you can see how this company operates when things go wrong, I wouldn't waste time or money on them. I got 3 months left until I can cancel my contract and will be leaving them as soon as this is up.

Also the support team behaved in a passive aggressive manner by telling me if I don't pay my weekly on time they will trigger the car alarm, until paid. Not very professional at all and a stressful situation.

They really don't care about any situation you are in and show zero support, I would really think about before you join this company.

Might start off good and easy when there are no problems, but if things go wrong, trust me you will be paying a lot of money without any help from Moove.

Read the contract and you will see there is zero help for the driver for any situation.

I recently had a disappointing…

I recently had a disappointing experience with Moove when I recived a Tesla from them. From the moment I picked up the car, there were issues that left me frustrated. I was informed about a problem with the driver's tire, which I was told is a common occurrence with Tesla cars. However, upon further inspection, I discovered that there was actually a puncture in the tire. This misinformation caused unnecessary inconvenience with wasted time and money.

Another concerning aspect was the inactive cameras within the car. I was told that these cameras would soon be removed, but despite my repeated requests for information about the timeline, Moove seemed unaware of the situation and provided inconsistent responses. This lack of clarity and communication was disappointing, as I found the cameras to be obstructive and unattractive, affecting my overall driving experience.

The most frustrating incident occurred when I received last-minute text that the MOT was about to expire. Moove directed me to Kwik Fix for the MOT, but upon arriving there, I was informed that I would have to wait nearly three days without a valid MOT. This unexpected delay had a significant impact on my ability to work, resulting in a loss of earnings. It was especially disheartening as I was expecting the birth of my child within the same week. I reached out to Moove, explaining the situation and requesting that I not be charged for the three days without MOT due to their poor communication. Unfortunately, they refused to accommodate my request and only offered some charging credit and a payment plan as an apology.

To add to my frustration, I recently received an email stating that the car alarm would be activated if I attempted to drive the vehicle until payment was made. This approach felt excessive and unprofessional, further highlighting the poor customer service I experienced throughout my rental period.

Based on my overall experience, I cannot recommend Moove to others. The combination of miscommunication, lack of consideration for customer needs, and the subsequent loss of earnings made my experience with Moove highly disappointing. If you're looking to rent a Tesla without dealing with such issues, I would advise exploring other options.
