I purchased this for two reasons. Firstly great value for money for the nab9 i purchased with high spec CPU, dual nics and its compact size. What let this down was the fact they knew that a batch of units had been sold with faulty Capacitor chips and they did not offer a recall. My unit worked excellently for 6 months before it just died. I read up and this is how i found out about the capacitor issue.
I contacted Minisforum support who responded next day but then didnt respond to me for over a week. Fortunately i purchased the item from Amazon who offered me a refund straight off no arguments.

So whilst the units are excellent when they work, the unexpected aspects of not knowing if it will fail or not outweighs because of faulty parts puts doubt in your mind.

I bought an UM690 in mid-2023.

At first, the computer was decent, however after 4-5 months of not so intense use, I started to have issues with booting.

The computer would not boot, and I would need to unplug all peripherals and unload the internal battery, as per advised by the support of Minisforum.

After 4 back and forth repairs in the span of 3 years (had to return it to hongkong and to pay for the repairs btw), Minisforum tells me they cannot support me anymore because the model is discontinued, even though they admitted the motherboard was defective.

I am now opening a case with my lawyer for wrongdoing. Stay away from this company and its products at all costs !

They keep on scamming their custommers. I have tried to get in contact with them for 4 months now with no solution in sight. They keep ignoring EU law and makes up their own rules, even their own website contradicts what they're saying. No help in sight and I am left with a dead product after a few months. WORST company ever

Ordered through Amazon, item sent awol(again!its Amazon) trying in vain to find where item is or get refunded, useless, so I reached out to support with minisforum, heard absolutely nothing, they also must know whether their item was delivered or not regardless of who the courier is. So not happy, no item or money. I've used minisforum before, I won't again, I won't be recommending. Not happy.

Don't use the Minisforum EU shop!! Terrible delivery service and stubborn customer service!!

Unfortunately, the DHL delivery couldn't deliver my package at my shipment address, because their status update notification didn't work and I missed the parcel by just half an hour. They left my place without handing out the parcel or leaving a note behind. I strongly assume that the driver didn't event try to deliver the parcel at my place... Such a terrible delivery service.

I immediately contacted the Minisforum support, since DHL is returning the parcel back to the shipper and refusing to return it to my place. I haven't heard any words from Minisforum support yet. Not even an automatic support ticket, stating that they're handling my case. It's a bad sign and a terrible experience for all customers, since Minisforum depends on a unreliable delivery partner.

I regret buying their V3 3-in-1 tablet from their store **a month ago**, ordered on 16.12.2024! I should've gone with Microsoft Surface or somenthing else...

**Update 28.01.2025:** Still waiting for a delivery or refund!! Customer service only stalls the refund process.
**Update 10.02.2025:** Customer support is writing me "templated" replies back, with no refund possibilities. No DHL delivery status updates whatsoever. Still waiting for the delivery....
**Update 13.02.2025:** I demanded the cancellation of my order and a full refund of payment. They stall and avoid the refund!!!! IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!! I've ordered the product on 16.12.2024 and still waiting for the resolution of this issue!!
According to the EU law, a company has the obligation to fully refund, if the delivery has not been successful within 30 days of ordering it.
