Just been in to return an item purchased by their online sister store 'ultimate outdoors'. Big thanks to Jess for ability great assistance in resolving there problem with the product. She went to great lengths to make sure that they had all the details needed to complete the return through customer care and that I had all the info needed to follow up with three online customer services. I was expecting this to be a nightmare... But it wasn't. Thanks 👍

I came back to change a pair of boots that I had bought for my son. Jess dealt with this in a friendly way. Jess was also knowledgeable and helpful. We got a 15% discount because my son is in The Scouts.

I recently visited the store to purchase equipment for my first family camping trip. Janet and the staff were fantastic in helping me get all the equipment I needed. They really took the time to explain all the products to help me make an informed decision on my purchases.

As soon as I walked in the store the staff were very helpful especially Jan. I found what I wanted very quickly.

This afternoon I visited Millets in Monmouth looking for a wet weather jacket. There were two members of staff present, both of whom were very helpful. I told them what I was looking for. They pointed out two suitable jackets and explained the merits of both. As a result of our conversation I bought the slightly more expensive jacket, Berghaus. I am pleased with my purchase and the assistance I received. I will certainly visit again for walking gear.

Purchased a new pair of walking shoes. The assistant Owen was really helpful and had a lot of knowledge about the product. Great price too. Always a pleasure to shop in the Monmouth store as everyone is really friendly and all greet you when you walk through the door. Will return soon for more bargains!
