Buying Gear for the West Higland Way
Steven and Zander were amazing today when we were purchasing clothes for the West Highland Way. Both were so knowledgeable about the different types of boots and clothing to suit our needs.
They even gave a recommendation for lunch at a brilliant cafe nearby!

Plenty of stock. A well arranged store. I was unable to find a jersey my size in the sister store in Glasgow (Blacks). They arranged with staff at Millets to keep one for collection the next day. As soon as I entered Millets and spoke to the sales assistant, Debbie she knew about the order. She was very friendly and upbeat. Great purchase. Good well stocked store.

Fantastic and enjoyable experience
Went to Millets because I needed a good pair of hiking boots as my last ones are nearly 20 years old and have seen better days. Steven and Debbie made the exercise of choosing a new pair effortless. I explained what I was looking for and was prepared to spend ages if necessary trying on various pairs. With their help I managed to find the ideal boots with my second choice and they were so patient with me when I spend quite a long time walking round the store trying them. Their patience., help and expertise were much appreciated and if I find I need a second pair soon I know where to go and who to ask for.

Great shop
Great shop. Debbie was very helpful and I got a nice waterproof Peter Storm cagoule for a very reasonable price. One word of warning, when I opened the box the cagoule was in, it had a security tag on it.

Firstly I called in to check if my item…
Firstly I called in to check if my item was in stock, the young man who took the call was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and I later found out he'd put the item on hold and had informed his colleague. I didn't catch his name but thank you for that.
When I went into the store I was greeted in a lovely welcoming manner by Claire, she collected the item from the back shop and we went through the purchase process. I was most impressed by the customer care and told Claire this. It's so refreshing to be treated so well in shops these days. Your friendliness and professionalism was much appreciated, Keep up the good work.
