Walking boots great value and have used shop before. Must admit was disappointed with actual service, wasn’t spoken to, except when she was talking into radio and said “size 7” and as she didn’t even look at me didn’t realise was talking to me. Tried on, paid , no conversation at all!

I visited late on a Friday to buy a pair of shoes. I was welcomed and they were extremely helpful. However, I was very rushed and immediately regretted my choice upon driving home. They had made clear to me their returns policy which was a no-questions asked no fuss return as long as I didn't wear the shoes outside.

The next day I returned (with more time on my side) and asked to change the shoes and they couldn't have been more happy or helpful to do so. I was able to find a new pair that I preferred and they just switched them over without any issue.

Many thanks to Owen & George who helped me with the shoes - George seeming to have expert knowledge of how the shoes were constructed including the types of materials used in the soles and uppers to quite a technical degree, and also thank you to the manager Megan who actually processed the swap for me.

All in all they made me feel like a very valued customer and nothing was any problem. I left very happy.

I was unsure which products would water proof two jackets I had washed. Megan was very helpful and knowledgeable, recommended the best options and even the application process I needed to follow. I was pleased and impressed with the help she gave me. Thank you.

My son Paul bought a pair of Murells walking shoes from Millets Fareham 5 months ago and were showing excessive wear on both shoes . The shop assistant Gemma examined them and confirmed the wear to be unsatisfactory. Paul had the receipt and without any haggling or hassle Gemma agreed to replacement shoes or refund. This was agreed by the supervisor Lisa. The staff were very helpful

My experience was made great by the amazing knowledge your salesman, George, knew about each and every walking boot I tried . He was patient, helpful and full of positive energy too and really helped me find the perfect boot! A very well mannered young man .

On entry I found a light bright clean shop. Immediate welcome from staff and a good deal of help from a staff member 3/11 till 00375/1. Very happy with my purchase and the quality of customer service.

Excellent help when i was trying to find the right walking boots. The store assistant was very busy but still found time to help with very good knowledge of walking footwear.

I had to return a faulty tent and the manager Lauren went above and beyond to help exchange it over. Very friendly and extremely helpful.

I'm just back from Millets, Fareham, where a very helpful, knowledgeable young assistant advised, helped to find and fit a new pair of walking boots. I was told a great deal more than previous purchases.
Even better, it saved a trip to Southampton to find the same boot.

I went to Millets in search of some new walking boots and I was lucky enough to be greeted by Megan. What Megan doesn’t know about walking boots is not worth knowing!! I’m not someone that enjoys shopping so I like to get it right first time! With Megan’s help I managed to do that. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she went and retrieved so many pairs of boots for me and permanently had a smile on her face. To put that into context their store room is upstairs so everytime she went and got me another pair she was up and down a flight of stairs. I was able to ask her questions about the soles, the fit, the prices and Megan had all the answers. My last pair of boots lasted me 4 years from Millets and I am hoping these ones will last 4 years too! Let’s hope Megan is still working there when I need to replace these ones because she is an asset to Millets or maybe she will be a store manager by then because this girl deserves recognition for her excellent customer service skills and superb knowledge! Thanks Megan and Fareham Millets.

Polite, helpful and efficient - it was a pleasure to be assisted by Gemma, Megan and Owen.

Went to millets to look for new waterproof coats for myself and wife, when we first got in there there was a young female member of staff, I asked her if there was another size in a particular coat available and without even looking she told me no and that all stock is out, she didnt seem very forthcoming in helping. We continued to look at other coats when another female member of staff called Lisa appeared, she asked us if we needed any help, we asked if there was another size available on several coats and without hesitation she checed and went out back and got them including the one I had previously asked the other member of staff for. Lisa was very helpful,friendly and knowledgeable. If it wasn't for Lisa getting the sizes we needed, we would have left and gone else where and millets would have lost an approximate £220 purchase as we bought 2 coats and pair of trousers and a waterproof wash and spray.

Connor and Gemma were great today! Really helped me out, we’re very patient and attentive with my requests. Well done would highly recommend!

I went in just to look around but saw a nice Peter Storm coat on sale, tried ot on and decided to buy it. Reduced from £70 to £19, absolute Bargain. Lisa was very helpful and I even got a further discount as I have a Defence Discount card. Excellent all round. Thank you Lisa and Millets
