Was looking for a rain coat. Summer was very helpful and friendly. I was deciding on which one to get. And I came back and bought it because it was a nice experience and I got a discount for blue light card.

I wanted a new pair of walking trousers. The branch had a good selection in sizes ands lengths! I was able to try on easily and Summer was very helpful.
Would thoroughly recommend. Easy, free road parking not far away.

Listened when I called in advance to check the boots I wanted to buy were in stock, welcomed in to the shop with a nod as serving, offered to assist but equally happy to let us browse and to bring out those we liked and similar for us to try. No pressure but quickly there to answer any questions. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly from beginning to end. Wish all shopping trips were like that. Thank you Martin.

Preparing for camping and went into Millets. Lots of great offers on and Martin the sales assistant was so patient (had a very fussy child with me) and was able to find what we needed. Martin was smiling at everyone who came in and singing away which my teenage daughter thought was a great way to make customers smile. Thank you Martin and Millets Happy soon to return customers.

Having purchased walking boots (Merrell) from Millets 4 years ago, today noticed new offers in window so looked for new pair. Assistant Maiya was exceptionally patient and helpful, managing to find half a dozen pairs in my size and preferred style. Ended up getting a pair of Merrell, great fit and bonus of being on offer. Genuinely helpful staff member.

The second time I’ve been into Millets in Eastleigh recently and been served by Summer. Both time she has gone above and beyond to help me. Excellent customer service and knowledge.

Just browsing through Eastleigh and come across your outdoor display! Couldn’t believe the cheap pricing! Please don’t say your closing Eastleigh!

Thanks Millets, and specifically your Eastleigh store from which I recently bought a pac-a-mac. I'd had really weary customer service from a rival 'outdoors' store and I was so pleasantly surprised to see and feel the difference at Millets, where I was given friendly service and a satisfactory purchase. I'm knocking off one star, not because of the in-store experience but because your sizing did not go beyond a 22 in ladies' pac-a-macs. We larger gals also like to be catered for. Because we are fat does not mean we only sit at home eating chocolate. Some of us are quite fit and enjoy outdoor pursuits. In the event the usual happened and a male item was found which fitted and luckily in a colour which I wanted. But should I be left feeling like an 'also ran' and not a valued customer? But you did redeem yourself by stocking male items with sleeves not made in arm lengths for a gorilla, so that I won't, as often happens, have a foot of extra sleeve hanging over my wrist. But can I just say that although I have a very robust personality and don't care a hoot about being fat, many people, particularly women, become embarrassed and too distressed to even look for a jacket, knowing they are not really being considered or catered for. It really isn't a good feeling, not even for me. If you can find a manufacturer of male jacket that fits me, why not be able to offer a female one too? But in general, an excellent customer experience.

Great little shop with good staffing.
We wandered in to look at footwear and clothing and were greeted by the staff and left in peace to browse. Later we were asked if we required any assistance and made aware that staff were available of needed. In my opinion the right level of staff interaction. No one enjoys having people hover over you all the time.

When we made our purchase I was served at the till by Emily who was friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
Would happily shop there again.
