I think his name was James but if the guy with the long hair and beard who helped me with finding the travel pillow this afternoon around half 4ish ever needs a kidney or something just let me know! I really appreciated him putting thought into my purchase and letting me know about the special offer and also popping downstairs to put the items through for me. I felt like he had my back with it too because he saw me looking lost and confused, walked me over to the products I wanted, gave his personal recommendation, let me know about the BOGO½P and the efficiency was on 100.

I got exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price! The lady who served me, Linda, was very friendly and helpful.

James was very helpful, professional and friendly when I bought my jacket yesterday. I had to walk 2 miles to go back to the shop today to have the security tag removed as I found it when i got home, I said I'd seen him check for the tag and his colleague interjected and was rude, saying I said I'd seen him check and questioned whether the alarm had gone off the night before. It was not my fault that the tag hadn't been removed, nor that the security system didn't work the night before and I don't appreciate the attitude of that staff member when it was me who was put out by having to return. Will steer clear in future & stick to online shopping.

James the store manager has been exceptionally helpful to my school, Harris Westminster Sixth Form who are starting a D of E scheme for our students. We had a requirement for over £3,000 of equipment for our students, most of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. He sourced the equipment and priced it very reasonably. The order had to be passed through your central ordering team but James did all the work. We have now completed the first practice expedition and everything worked perfectly. Our students and staff are very appreciative of the time and effort James put in to help us with this order.

Diane was really helpful, friendly, took time to talk and advise. Encouraged questions and wanted to get the best for me. A great shopping experience. Thank you.

Phoned the branch on 17/02/24 to check the Peter Storm Lakeside coat I wanted was in stock and staff checked then confirmed that the colour and size was in the store.
I asked if it could be kept aside, gave my details and said I would be over in the hour.
On arrival I spoke with both Lynda & Shay-Ann and they got the coat for me to check it’s the correct size. Fitted perfectly, purchased and worn many times since. Great coat suitable for the varied weather we have had this last few weeks.
Both staff were professional and polite at all times and could not have been more helpful from my enquiry to purchase.

My experience at Blacks in Croydon was great today. Shay-Ann looked after me, she was very knowledgable and offered good advice on waterproof trousers and trainers. She was very patient with me as I tried multiple trainers on. She is very polite and pleasant
