Tommy and Jackie were incredibly helpful in getting what I need for my trip.

Very good friendly service at Chesham store.

I came into the store on a busy day, looking for all equipment I needed for camping, I wasn’t sure where to start and a lovely lady called jackie came over almost instantly to help, she must have been helping me for 20 minutes and was so helpful and lovely, I’ll definitely be back to shop again and see jackie

Jackie provided a really good level of service by stopping what she was doing to come and serve me. Her product knowledge was good and she was polite and cheerful. Thanks

Bit of a mixed experience. Michael was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive. My husband and I both left with walking boots we were very happy with. There was a very odd exchange with the other member of staff there who was confrontational and aggressive towards Michael, inappropriately reprimanding him about a ‘one box policy’ in-front of us. In my workplace that would amount to bullying. Well done Michael and sorry you had to experience that.

I needed some new walking trousers, so looked online and saw that Millets had just what I wanted at a very good price. Nipped along to Local branch at Chesham to try on. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable, great service!

A good selection of boots. Tommy was very attentive when I was selecting my boots. He explained the differences and was very polite.

Called in for some replacement walking boots and was served by the knowledgeable and friendly Michael who was so patient and helpful as I decided between the impressive variety available. It was an enjoyable experience which justly deserves a 5 Star review.

Purchased some Berghaus and North Ridge waterproofs today and was helped by Tommy who was super helpful and very knowledgable!

Me and my fiancé were served by Jackie on Saturday morning, as this was my first ever purchase from my local Millets store. A new pair of walking shoes/trainers. I was told that if I was unsure of my size (I was thinking I was a Size 8) as I didn’t want to try them on whilst in the store to bring them back in their box to exchange for the next size down. Got home to find that they were a size too big for me after all. So the next morning (this morning, Sunday) my fiancé took them back for me as soon as they opened at 10am to exchange them for the next size down (Size 7) instead. He was served by a new trainee supervisor there called Bryony (a guy called Dan was also on shift there this morning) who was a little worried about making a mistake, but he reassured her that we would leave a positive review for them right here on TrustPilot as a thank you for her troubles (of which there wasn’t any at all whatsoever anyway). And I’m very pleased to report that my newly exchanged/now correctly sized walking shoes/trainers fit perfectly and I’m looking forward to wearing them out and about from now on. I may even get a second pair from there again next month if they still have them in my size and in stock. All in all a really good first ever customer service experience.

Complete lack of customer care.

They would not take shoes that were clearly faulty- within a year of purchase- and despite their own customer service asking the manager twice to use his discretion. No offer of any compromise just hard nosed refusal.

The manufacturer was outstanding and found an excellent resolution.

I was served by Adam and he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Got exactly the boots I was looking for and got a discount as a National Trust member. Many retailers are failing due to poor service and not just on price. Good to find shops that can offer good service at competitive prices.

Great service today from Tommy in Chesham Millets. I returned an item which was too small but went on to purchase a new pair of Merrell walking shoes which were price matched. Excellent result.
