Jonty went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. From my call to check availability to making sure my new walking shoes fit correctly and also making sure I got the best deal on shoe sprays. Thank you I am delighted with my new purchase.

It’s always a pleasure to shop in the Chesham branch, with staff that are friendly and helpful, so pleased that Steph is back as manager she is such a bonus to the store.

I visited the Chesham store on 18/5/24, I was helped by Tommy, who was absolutely brilliant! He advised me regarding the different walking shoes and boots that they offer, was so very knowledgeable and friendly, with no pressure to buy. He is such an asset to the store.

The staff at Millets in Chesham are very good. However one member of staff is outstanding and an absolute joy to deal with due to his experience and friendly personality. Tommy is superb and really understands the clients he is dealing with in a fairly middle-class area where people have very diverse requirements. This may vary from ordinary back garden camping, family holidays, DofE products, the Caminos de Santiago and the increasingly popular great Treks of the world like the TA, PCT, AT etc...this market is moving inexorably upwards....Tommy therefore deserves a big pat on the back or promotion to ensure that you are employing similar people to this guy.

I visited the Chesham store with very low expectations after getting no satisfaction from the so called Customer Service provided by the Web site. I needed to return a pair of boots that I had purchased a few months that were faulty.
I'm happy to say that my experience in the store was brilliant. Steph examined the boots and quickly agreed to refund the purchase price of the boots. She also helped me to select a replacement pair which she ordered for me for delivery.
I arrived at the store as a disgruntled customer and left a happy one. Well done.

My first visit to this store today 13/3/24 to buy urgently a popular Berghaus jacket on very special offer as we are going away in two days time. My size was not available but Tommy and Bryony (Briony?) phoned Hemel and Wycombe branches to find stock but no success. I then phoned HQ and a lady called Anka (?) was also exceptionally helpful in trying to find a store with stock within driving distance. She stayed on the phone for 33 minutes (when I asked if she would phone me back if we got cut off, she confirmed she would and said we always do that. Ultimately, there was nothing near enough so she recommended that I order online and use the next day delivery service to ensure it arrived. I can honestly say that the combined service of these three people was absolutely outstanding and the best I have received in a very long time. I would strongly recommend Millets, Chesham especially (and Blacks as same group) to everyone. Retired Pensioner (male).
