Amazing customer service by Dannie. It made a great shopping experience as Dannie was very helpful, knowledgeable and had a positive answer to all my enquiries. I bought various items for my upcoming hiking trip all at Millets. Thank you Dannie.

Very helpful staff, didn't rush me into a decision over which walking boots to choose and let me try on many different pairs. I take a long time making decisions over things like this. Really appreciated the non-pushy relaxed approach. Knowledgeable, but did not try to blind me with science, answered questions well.

The manager was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him at your Brighton store.

Dannie the manager at Brighton Millets found me the product that I mentioned it to him . He found the correct size jacket n the exact colour I wanted . He made my day . He was very polite n helpful . I had been to a few outdoor clothing shops and I didn’t get the service as I received from Dannie . Well done to Dannie .

I bought two fleeces from Millets yesterday as I was very impressed by the quality for price. I also got an extra first aid kit add on for only a £5er at the till. One thing I would say is the fleeces were very snug fitting so I did size up (along with the woman beside me who also found the same).

Special shout out to Dannie who kindly pointed out I had two different style fleeces & saved me a return trip to swap back one style for another so I had the two I wanted. Thanks Dannie!

Top marks for very helpful staff in your store..who went to the bother of ordering my walking boots on line as the size was not available in the shop...top marks for next day delivery and top marks for the courier who knocked on the door with my boots the next day..properly recording handover by photo-top marks all round for a first class service.It could not have been better!

Visited the store on Air St (Brighton) to buy some walking shoes for myself and my partner. We were assisted by Dannie and Jara who were friendly and more than happy to give advice and go back and forth to the stockroom to get the various shoes we wanted to try. Very satisfied with the service and the items we purchased.

Harry was super friendly and helpful! He assisted me with buying my first ever walking boots, I didn’t know to much in which ones to buy. However Harry was very informative and knowledgeable with helping me pick the right pair. Great service and very friendly. Thank you again Harry!

I came into the store in Air street Brighton and was met by Jason we discussed Italy and France and travel in general. He and two others took my details and helped to replace an item that was faulty. I needed the replacement delivered before my ferry on Monday. I have just received it two days from order. Thank you Jason and the team. Your customer service took over from the store and initiated a two day delivery. Thank you and well done all. An absolutely seem-less and enjoyable experience.

I needed to buy some warm trousers for a winter holiday. Harry was very helpful, pleasant and chatty.

Danny from Brighton branch of Millets was so helpful today. He processed a return for me which was just out of 28 day limit. I had only just managed to find the receipt & the gloves were still in the packaging.

After I explained a medical condition and needing to now use heated gloves, he gave me a refund. Literally made my day as they were an expense I couldn’t afford to lose.

I shop at that branch and Blacks a lot and have always had a great experience with friendly, well informed staff.

I've made three trips to Millets in Air Street in the past week, in order to research rainmacs and backpacks. I need to buy up to 40 of each for some young people seeking asylum who are attending ESOL college courses here. They have no waterproof jackets for the rainy winter days, and no backpacks to keep their books dry. I organised a crowdfunder to buy these, and I want to spend the money wisely. I had septn a kind of frustrating time online trying to figure out which would be good value while keeping out the rain, and how the jackets looked and fitted. So I decided to visit a proper store. During my visits, Jara, Dannie and Harry were all amazingly helpful. Harry was particularly knowledgeable about the best way to keep the contents of a backpack dry - buy a cheap backpack and an interior drysac of the same capacity. He was also spot-on in his choice of colours for the backpacks: the blue he chose was the one they all gravitated towards when I handed out the first batch this week. Not only that, but he worked out the best discounts for us for my in-store purchase, and when I went back to order some more, he made an online order for me, again giving me a discount because of the charity giving. Not only that, but the entire order which Harry had made online was delivered to my house the very next day! When I do an update on our crowdfunder page I will do a shout-out for the staff of this stop. And I'm calling in again today to make another order. This review is for all three trips I made and all four orders I made. Thank you for making a potentially stressful task calm, pleasant and efficient.

I was very impressed with Mike, the assistant who assisted me with choosing the right walking boot for me. He was knowledgeable about the range of products and was attentive and patient. I must admit I didn't think that Millets stocked some of the top end brands, so I was really delighted to find a a great pair of leather boots for a great price.

I took a trip into Brighton to buy a new Gortex jacket of some kind. Having wondered around various store's in the town I went into Millets in Air street.
As I entered the store I was quietly asked if I needed some help from Jara. He helped me to narrow it down to a Berghaus jacket which worked for me. On looking for a fleece Dannie helped me try the alternatives to fit in the jacket.
The service was excellent from start to finish with a superb demonstration by Danny on how the jacket could be rolled up into the hood. Millets year guarantee coupled with the lifetime Berghaus repair if faulty makes for peace of mind.
Would use Millets again, worth my trip.
