This is a scam, they say it’s handmade products in Norfolk, but when I checked the delivery details it was being shipped from China, when the lamp turned up it was of cheap construction and with a bit of paint sloppily applied.
Once I asked for a refund (like there website policy states) they refused it.
Even going so far as to retaliate when I tried to get the money back from my bank. Steer clear!

I agree with everything the others are saying. I too received a plastic toy cat with a light inside and not the handmade individually soldered lamp they led me to believe I was ordering. As said before - cheap and not that cute!
I reported them to Facebook as a scam or con but Facebook did not see the problem and I could not see where I could explain what had happened.
The red flag that I saw after ordering was a mention of Evelyn's shelter on the site but when I later looked it had gone.
Mine also came from China, as shown by tracking, and arrived from France. I guess they don't care by then that you know as they have your money.
I noticed they are now saying they are suspending orders so they can catch up on the back log .
All I can say is do your checks thoroughly when giving money away. I fell for the tears of an old man and his sadness that his dogs would be put to sleep and his savings had all gone...well now some of my savings have gone too!

The lamp arrived and it's cute but - and it's a massive but - it's not handmade, and it's not worth the money. Which I truly wouldn't have cared about, as I was just buying one to support dogs in need, but instead I've just supported what appear to be total scammers. There's no address or charity number on the website, which should have been a massive red flag (but I was on holiday and in holiday mode). The lamp arrived from Liege, not Norwich. Again, if I thought the profits were being used to help dogs, I wouldn't care about that but instead it seems to be to designed to get dog lovers to part with their cash. Give to a local charity you know instead. (At least the lamp did arrive though and it is sweet, but worth more like £20.)

This sadly is a total scam, which is just awful as they are posing as an animal shelter and taking money away from real animals in need. Despicable!! I got scammed… do not!

This appears to be a scam. Don't buy these lamps! They are not glass or hand made.

I saw this apparent shelter on Facebook on 25th October 2025. Due to my love of animals I stupidly bought one of their lamps plus £10 donation total £54.95. I fell for the crying & that they are from Norwich, Norfolk UK. That the lamps were made by the old guy at the shelter. Except it's all rubbish. This has China & US connections Nothing to do with Norwich Norfolk. I believe this is not real They are playing on people like me, animal lovers. Every video is different people crying, begging for money & help, Apparently a small rescue but photos showing a big concern with loads of kennels, the photos don't add up & I can only say my personal feeling it's possibly a con. When I asked about the China connection they say, oh we should have been more transparent we get components from there?? So why would the whole lamp come from there? If indeed anything does come. I said if it was components they would go to the shelter then the lamp would be made & sent from there as they said that's where the lamps were made. Strangely silent. I just do not trust this. Asked for refund not responding. Be very careful giving your money to these people, my personal belief is there are real questions here.

Website us in US but the About us lists then at About address in Norwich which does not correspond with the shelter. Description days "hills of East Anglia" - its a flat county and the photos on we site and videos on Facebook have AI generated content plus American accents. Photos on webite are obviously not the UK. Sounds like a scam not a charity (no charity number listed)
