Stay away from this company.
I bought a car for my son, the purchase & delivery was quick & efficient.
However it was delivered with 1 key instead of 2 as advertised, when I phoned them I was told they would post out special delivery. Nothing ever arrived.
I tried contacting via several different methods & was either ignored or told someone will get back to me. Eventually when I threatened them with court action due to breach of contract, they requested i get a quote for a 2nd key. I did & then sent it... again I was ghosted.
I then went through small claims court. Surprisingly they were then really quick to communicate with me & within days I was refunded. This has been going on for 6 weeks.
On a separate note, when checking under the bonnet, the car had hardly any oil, no coolant or water, we later discovered there was a leak & it needed to be replaced.

Excellent service from all the team when purchasing my new car.

Wish I checked the reviews first. Took 2 and half weeks to get delivery of the car. Was delivered at 10pm at night. Next day saw so many faults with the car. Prior to buying the car asked for videos 3 times and got nothing. Took car out to fill with diesel within 5 mins tyre lights came on. Valve broken on a tyre then one tyre went completely flat and undriveable now in process of return but won’t answer my emails or texts

Avoid Midlands Autohaus.

Our experience with this garage has been extremely frustrating from start to finish. We have been repeatedly messed around with changing collection and delivery dates, constantly being given different explanations as to why the car wasn’t ready.

We were told the car would be delivered on Saturday, so we waited in all morning specifically for the delivery. The delivery time was then changed by several hours, which caused significant inconvenience and resulted in me being late for work.

Then, after all of this, we received a message telling us that the car had broken down on the way to us. We were then offered a £300 discount towards another car. Quite honestly, after everything we had already been through, this was incredibly frustrating and did very little to restore our confidence in the garage.

The communication throughout has been extremely poor. We have had to continually chase for updates rather than being kept informed, and the information we have received has frequently changed.

Buying a car should be an exciting experience, but this has been nothing but stress, inconvenience and disappointment.

I would never use Midlands Autohaus again, and based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before doing so.

I hope the management genuinely takes a look at how this situation has been handled, because the level of customer service we have received has been completely unacceptable.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Can’t fault the sales service but the after sales is atrocious.
Bought a Peugeot and the engine management light came on after 70 miles.
They told me to get a diagnostic which showed a possible catalytic converter issue. Warranty covers up to £500 the work would have been in excess of £1000.
I was within the period to hand the car back but the didn’t organise collection. Eventually I had to ask the name of their transport company and arrange the collection myself.
They didn’t transfer the car back to themselves for 2 weeks so I was liable for a car 100’s of miles away despite being told the transfer would be done as soon as they received it.
They then told the finance company that the car had dents and scratches - it didn’t.
I have asked for evidence of the alleged damage so that I can take it to the ombudsman but they are ignoring my emails.
Please, do not buy from these guys.

Absolutely appalling experience — avoid this dealership.

The service I received from Midland Autohaus was pathetic from start to finish. I have serious concerns about the accuracy of the vehicle’s service history and feel that I was not given reliable information before purchasing.

Once the sale was completed, communication became extremely poor. Charlie was very responsive when dealing with the sale, but afterwards my emails and phone calls were repeatedly ignored. This is completely unacceptable when you have paid a significant amount of money for a vehicle.

I feel extremely disappointed and let down by this dealership. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from Midland Autohaus to think twice and carry out independent checks before handing over any money.

I would never buy another vehicle from them and cannot recommend them. Avoid.

WARNING. Do not buy any vehicle from this company. Avoid at all costs. I could go into a long spiel about Midlands Autohaus and the issues I have had with them since buying our car in April. However, you only have to read the other reviews on here to realise they are a cowboy outfit. Unfortunately, I took to reading the reviews on the Autotrader website before buying which give them a glowing 5 stars. Don't be fooled (like I was). The negative reviews are removed, as I found out after leaving my own comments.
I am now trying to get my money back from the credit card company through which the car was purchased. Also got Trading Standards involved. By the looks of it, reading through what others have put here on Trustpilot, I am far from the only one taking action. Trading standards need to close them down.

Midlands Autohaus aka Leicester Autohaus aka many other names will take your money and delivery an unroadworthy car to your address. You will then struggle to get your money back and will have to take legal action, they will then still delay that as much as they can hoping you give up. I know of over 50 other people I've met online who this has also happened to. They are under serious investigation, hence probably why they keep changing their business name. Don't believe any of their reviews on Autotrader either as they are wrote by themselves and they report any bad ones to get them immediately taken down. They are an absolute sham!
