Management Office- Brentford Dock

My wife and I have resided at The Dock since 2002 and have experienced many lows regarding its Management over that time.
In the last few years there has been a huge improvement in how the Management Office has been conducted, particularly since the arrival of Sam, Anurag and Beth.
They have recently been subjected to dealing with a difficult Local Authority following the Authority’s insistence on more public access onto the private Dock Estate.
There continues to be a fraught relationship and much legal expense to maintain the Status Quo , but sadly it looks like the Authority will come out on top.”
This situation has caused much upset and frustration amongst residents which is frequently downloaded on the Management Office.
Sam, Anurag and Beth are to be congratulated for their patience and tolerance in maintaining the essential good running of the Dock whilst coping with the extra demands placed upon them by this current impass.
Beth deserves a special mention insofar as she frequently manages the day to day responsibilities on her own, due to the external responsibilities of Sam and Anurag.
Beth has been a model of patience and calm ensuring that needs have been met and appropriate advice given to those seeking answers to their day to day difficulties.
We are indeed most fortunate to have 3 such capable persons responsible in the main for the smooth running of Brentford Dock.
They are to be congratulated

Caroline Stirling is simply superb

Caroline Stirling is simply superb. Possibly the best manager of a building I have ever had. She is an exceptionally warm and caring person, but she is incredibly hard-working and efficient. You can always rely on her to get things done as quickly as possible and properly You never have to pester her so much you might has well have done it yourself. Stirling the sterling !

I have been working with Michael Richards & Co. in relation to renovation permissions for my flat, and would like to specifically recognise Caroline Stirling.

Caroline was outstanding throughout the process — clear, responsive, pragmatic, and reassuring. What could easily have become a stressful or bureaucratic exercise was handled with calm professionalism and efficiency. She responded quickly, explained requirements clearly, and helped keep everything moving without unnecessary friction.

A very positive experience and a real pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful Support Person

Following a recent problem with my entryphone, Lorraine Prince yet again responded quickly and efficiently to my request for assistance. Over the years, Lorraine has provided a source of continuity. She always responds promptly, lets me know that she has been in touch with contractors (with whom she seems to have an excellent relationship) and follows through on work orders. Most importantly, she lets you know what is happening and when and makes you feel that she cares about getting things resolved. Well done Lorraine. MR wouldn’t be the same without you.

Very responsive experience

We have lived in a property managed by Michael Richards for over 15 years, and recently sold the flat to move out of London. Caroline and Lara answered the many questions from the buyers promptly and patiently, and were very approachable when we had additional queries, helping us to complete the sale successfully.

Brilliant customer support person

I addressed a complex query to customer-support person Lara and he was extremely courteous, logical and thorough in his response. He took the time to understand my query, then went away to investigate it. He came back very quickly with an extraordinarily useful response. I am also grateful that I had no trouble getting through to him; he picked up the phone immediately. Thanks, Lara!

Excellent management.

Caroline Stirling, of Michael Richards Property Management Ltd., was friendly, understanding, helpful and immediate in her response to my plumbing problems. She provided an excellent plumber who solved my problems! I would have no problem in contacting her again for help in the future.

5 Years Dealing with Michael Richards Maintenance Company

I've been dealing with Michael Richards Maintenance Company for 5 years now. When I bought my flat, I immediately reported a mould problem — I have a young son with breathing issues, and this was urgent.

They ignored me completely. Email after email, no one cared. Nothing was done. We ended up spending thousands of pounds to fix it ourselves — even though we already pay them a lot of money every year.

To get anything fixed, you have to chase them nonstop. And when they finally send someone, it takes months — and the job is terrible. Then they send you the bill.

But when it comes to getting paid, they don’t waste a second. They’re suddenly right in your face.

Like many other people here, we pay nearly £2,000 a year and get nothing in return. If you dare to question them, they threaten you with a tribunal.

It feels like they think they’re above the law.

We’re seriously thinking of selling and moving just to get away from this company. They keep increasing prices, but their service is rubbish, with no improvements.

If you’re buying or moving into a place managed by Michael Richards, please don’t. You’ll end up paying a lot for nothing.

The company

The company, and especially Lorraine Prince, has been very helpful. Whenever we have issues that require attention, whether it is a leak or the lift that does not work properly, she does not hesitate to help and find the solution to the problem. She is considerate, interested in helping and very efficient.

Lorraine Prince

So, i wanted to write a quick note on Micheal Richards and in particular Lorraine Prince,
i have owned a property in W14 since 2004 managed by Micheal Richards, my point of call has always been Lorraine. i have spoken to Lorraine a number of times over the years and have found her to be very polite and professional, and queries/issues i may have had been dealt with in a timely manner, she will also keeps you updated and i have no issue in recommending her further.

Appreciation of Lorraine Prince

I have known Lorraine for now very many years and have always found her to be someone I can contact knowing I will be heard sensitive and professional manner- but also with a kind of 'ordinariness' that is so very rare these days. No coming up with rehearsed sentences! Always showing she is genuinely concerned and trying to help and being sure she listens and gives the impression she has plenty of time (when often I am sure that is not the case).
