I am so glad I found the Market Harborough Building Society! They always answer the phone promptly with only a few options to choose from. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and don't mind you taking your time with them and in my case asking some very obvious questions. My last communication was with Emma who was absolutely delightful and a credit to MHBS.

I don't usually submit feedback but feel compelled to do so in this instance. As a new customer I've been extremely impressed with the level of service provided by the customer service advisors. Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

Member of staff was helful, friendly and informative. I was just setting up my account and they were excellent.

I needed to change my mobile number in order to get access. When I phoned Emma was everything I'd hoped for. She was friendly and took me through all the steps involved very patiently, so it all went very smoothly. I was most impressed.

Went along to the Market Harborough building society to open a new account and was greeted by a warm friendly welcome from the staff. I was then directed to Jen who was able to assist me with all that was required to open the account ,no pressure and left feeling I’d made the right choice.

Am not good with IT but Claire was endlessly patient and courteous simply a super ambassador for your company with excellent customer service skills

Wanted to close my long dormant account. I didn't even remember that it was an on-line account. The operative, via phone, talked me thru the logging on procedure , including PW creation and successfully closed my account and auto transferred the account balance to my bank account within about three minutes over the phone. All this was accomplished with the minimum of fuss.

Excellent customer service. The call handler was so patient and talked me through what to do. She also knew what was needed to solve my problem. This was above and beyond. Really impressed.

It was a pleasure to come into a branch which made you feel wanted and understood. Particular mention to Hannah, who made the whole experience easy and was extremely helpful.

Having recently completed an excellent online Regular Saver account, I am disappointed not to be allowed to open a second Regular Saver account, due to your restriction to Branch opening only.
Most Building Societies and Banks do NOT put obstacles in the way of arranging recurring Regular savings accounts.

The staff were very helpful especially Claire Reedman
She put us at ease & we thought that they provided a lovely service.

Visited Rothwell branch today. The adviser we spoke to, Jenni Robson, was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. She sorted out what we needed to do and also made some great recommendations. Have never had a problem with MHBC. A great experience.

The customer service and care at the Kettering branch is always exceptional. I took my 89 year old Mum to make some account changes and Laura was fabulous - incredibly patient, thoughtful and professional. Their saving products have always been excellent, but it is the service that makes the difference and is why my Mum has always been a customer.

Your employee Alicia was excellent today.Without her being there through the proccess I would have been totally lost and would never have completed the transactions thankyou.

Four ladies on the counter. I was dealt with by Jay, she listened to what type of account I was looking for, explaining it very well. I didn’t feel under any pressure from her to open the account. I felt totally at ease with Jay dealing with me.

I popped into the desborough branch today. Great personal professional service from Keeley. Great building society. Always friendly. Welcoming with great advice. Jenni and Lynne are great too !

I needed a Tax Statement for 2024-25. Although the account was closed Emma had no trouble accessing and sending me a copy by post, which I received a week later. I had a good interest rate on the account and would be happy to invest with them again.

Called in with my wife who wanted to draw out some money from her account (she has mobilty problems and cannot stand for long). As soon as this was known by the Teller (Claire Reedman) she pointed out seats where we could sit and then did all the necessary and brought the money to us. She also suggested we may wish to look at a third party mandate in case my wife is unable to get to the MHBS. Gave us an explanation and all the necessary forms and information so we could consider and follow up if we wished. A really good customer experience that you don't often get these days - full marks!
