Unscrupulous
Don't usually do negative reviews but received a damaged item (May 2024). Contacted Medieval collectibles (MC), as their policy says, and was told I have to pay for return shipping of damaged item and pay for the shipping of the replacement item. Ridiculous, so I contacted Paypal (PP) opened a dispute, and they said don't communicate with MC anymore, only PP from now on. That is when MC got ugly. Rude, condescending, arrogant, harassing and lies from that point on. They even asked PP for me to go to a specialist and have the damage of the item assessed lol. It was a $30 statue from China. PP said that isn't necessary. A year later, figured would try MC out again and wasn't able to order. Contacted MC by email and Mary responded and stated I was on the "no future order" list because of the charge back. Oh no lol, maybe MC is upset I won the dispute? My account was refunded and didn't have to pay for return shipping. Mary also stated PP nor I, sent them pics of damaged item (lie, PP did send pics and confirmed it again a year later) and said they tried contacting me about the pics by numerous emails, phone calls and texts. There were a lot of them. Hence, the harassment. Again, MC knew communication only through PP. They seem to find joy in being a very unscrupulous company and using intimidating tactics. It didn't work on me. Before purchasing, check reviews (yelp) because there are many one-star reviews. Keep all communications documented by email and open a dispute, if needed. Good Luck!
