Fast, safe and reliable
I used MBE to ship some goods purchased at Sheffield Auction House to the Canary Islands. It took less than a week to arrive, which is a personal best so far and the contents, which were mainly fragile arrived unscathed thanks to the excellent packing. An excellent and helpful company.

Excellent Service
I purchased two small prints in a recent Sheffield auction. I paid for them during the evening of 12 November. The following day I ordered, received and accepted a quotation from Mailboxes Etc.. The company uplifted my prints, packed them securely and despatched them on 14 November via Fedex. I received them early on Monday 17 November . Delighted !

Reliability
I had a large and potentially fragile charger ( large plate) to be picked up from an unknown auctioneer and sent to near London. MBE Sheffield picked up as arranged, packed superbly with a double box as requested, and it was sent tracked by 24 hours delivery. Couldn't have been better. highly recommended, ( as MBE usually are!!!)

Delivery of paintings to the Nertherlands
Chun, the manager is friendly, open and fun. The time between collection from my studio in Sheffield to delivery in the Netherlands was only 6 days. Excellent speed and the package is in good order.

Guaranteed presents arrive in time for Christmas
This year I wanted to ensure Christmas presents for family arrived on time in Australia, so I used Mail Boxes. They focused their attention on getting me the best price with great customer care. They educated me on what would happen in terms of paper work, delivery process’s.There is a great range of packaging options, which they advised which ones I should use.

Customer service hard to contact at mbe sheffield
Have used them in the past and found them good. However, for a recent auction collection, I was charged for a 4.2kg package and the actual package arrived marked as weighing 0.8kg. I have emailed them 3 times for an explanation as there may be something I don't understand, but have not had the courtesy of a reply.
Subsequent to my review, I was called with an explanation and an apology. The package size issue was addressed. I now realise the issue there was that they had chosen to massively overengineer the packaging. That needs a bit of training in future. The non- communication issue was, they said, because I'd used an email which isn't monitored. It didn't seem to say that anywhere. I hunted for a customer services email but couldn't find one. The common problem of avoiding complaints by obscuring access, I think.
I could have picked up the phone. My error was enquiring by email so as to not put them on a spot.
Resolved now. Hope they make their customer service contact clearer in future.
