Mallorca Farmhouses Recensioni 

All of us enjoyed the Farmhouse but felt that a prior inspection or walk through before we came was needed.
The following issues needeed to be addressed and were after we had called not prior to arrival:
1) ANTS inside (including the closets) and outside were horrendous.
2) Issues with Wi-Fi, so alot of time business could not be conducted.
3) Fire alarm went off at 5:00 AM due to low battery
4) Lights at nite were not on in the pool.
5) Dryer not adequate for drying clothes.
6) No soap available in bathrooms upon arrival

Excellent house with great pool area and beautiful location. Loved the stunning view from the house. Very quiet location but 10 min drive and you will find restaurants, shops and beaches. Will come back again!

We have travelled with MFH for many years now. We have always found wonderful houses to stay in, and the agency is friendly and efficient, making the booking process very easy.

Great villa, clean, well equipped with air conditioning to the bedrooms and a great pool. Easy walk to the town/beach at Porto Pollença. Highly recommended.

great villa, but unfortunately the next neighbour decided to start
building work during our stay. Noise and dust everywhere.

A lovely villa set in a quiet countryside location. Communication from the agents was brilliant and everything was perfect. Amazing pool and outdoor bbq area. The villa had a roof terrace with great views of the sunset

Despite a few initial hiccups regarding our villa choice. Everything was resolved quickly and and amicably. Our villa was perfectly described and fully met our expectations. They co-ordinated our transfer to and from the villa via taxi making life especially easy for us and all correspondence was handled quickly and efficiently. All in all, we found them extremely professional and would happily book through them again. Thanks for a fab holiday!

The house has a beautiful, completely quiet location with a lovely view. It provides everything you need, but not more. The kitchen Equipment is ok but basic, some parts old. The interior is functional, there a no small nice details, furniture kind of old.
Beds are good. A big problem were the mosquitos during the night in the 2 west rooms. Either IT was too hot because of closed windows. Or you had a lot of mosquitos. It would be desirable that some protecion was provided (i.e. fly Screen windows, mosquito net).
The pool is nice. There is no bigger area to play for kids (a small meadow).

Review for the property Can Jaume Barretes. The outside area of this villa is incredible, the BBQ outdoor kitchen set up, seating, sunbeds, pool & gardens we could not fault. Inside the kitchen was well equipped & we were able to self-cater with no issues.
The instructions from Mallorca Farmhouses on how to locate the villa are the best from any company we've stayed with. The company was also very helpful at fixing an internet issue we experienced.
In terms of the downstairs bedroom / living room area there was a permanent damp smell - and on our first night the bed sheets felt damp too. The double bedroom with the en-suite, the bed is clearly old & needs replacing - it was impossible to get into bed or roll over without the bed sounding like it was about to collapse.
It would be helpful to add to the instructions regarding rubbish that the nearest communal rubbish bins are located at the garden center so you actually have a starting point of where the nearest bins are.
Overall we had a great holiday, we would book with Mallorca Farmhouses in the future but we wouldn't stay in Can Jaume Barretes again.

Stayed in Can Bolas near Son Macia, lovely views, great pool and house. We did get some info about local area but mostly generic -would advise doing individual detailed info sheet for each property. Other than that top property and a great company.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location and a short drive to some stunning beaches, not that you’ll want to leave the villa that often. Loved the pool, hot tub, views and awesome bbq.

Villa – Pou Den Brux

We’ve used Mallorca Farmhouses 4 time now and have always been very happy, choosing Mallorca Farmhouses over cheaper on-line booking sites, but on this occasion there were some issues that I wasn’t satisfied with.

On our arrival the shutters were missing on the kitchen window at the back of the house, the general state of the window itself was bad, the opening handle was missing and the hinges on one side looked like they had been forced, part of the wood was broken around the hinge. As this wasn’t our first time in one of these villa’s we had always been told to make sure all shutters are closed and locked when you leave the villa and the same before going to bed.

I contacted MF (Mallorca Farmhouses) immediately and spoke to James, as it was late in the day he said the maintenance team would be informed and something should happen the next day, I didn’t hear anything back.

As the safety deposit box wasn’t working either, I felt nervous leaving the property at all, with a wife a two daughters I wasn’t overly comfortable at night.

I spoke to the local rep (Heidi) about this; she informed me the owners had the shutters in for repair! She also told me a different safety deposit box code to the one in the paperwork but that didn’t work either.

Maybe the shutters should have been repaired when the villa was unused?

Heidi arranged a man to come out to repair the safety deposit box which he did, we had been there for 3 days at this stage, with shutters missing and no safety box, when leaving the premises having to hide passports etc. was not ideal.

All the previous villa’s we’ve stayed at with MF we’ve have always had a hardcopy folder outlining the property details, safety deposit box code and wireless code, places to visit etc quiet a nice read besides the pool with a glass of wine!

I contacted MF and was told the book is now on-line only, James emailed me a copy which was a generic book for general emergency contacts, rubbish, electricity, local attractions, food recipe’s etc., the on-line version didn’t relate to this actual villa and is not brilliant trying to read it on a phone, that’s why I had to contact them again about what the wireless key and safety box code was.

I know information needs to be modernised but when staying in a villa you’re unfamiliar with, a nice hard copy folder outlying all villa details and local information was sadly missed.

On a minor note there were two sun umbrellas packed away in the kitchen which we assumed were for the garden but we couldn’t find any stands for them and didn’t want to make holes in the lawn. So we ended up buying a stand out there.

I liked this property in general and have always liked the area of Pollensa.

I would use Mallorca Farmhouses again as the last 3 trips were excellent but something fell short on this one.

Absolutely fab . Fell in love with the villa and the garden, the Amazing views .
Being surrounded by mountains and nature yet close to Pollenca .
Would definitely recommend this charming little casa with its terraces, rooftop and ease of living
Felt wonderfully at home 🏠

The only thing I would have preferred a pin on WhatsApp for directions. We know the area well but probably due to such an early start lost the plot finding it ! 😂

The Communication with Mallorca Farmhouses was superb. Really quick and helpful in the right manner. We stayed 6 nights, in a Finca in Campos, Islas Baleares.
Its not the full 5 Stars, since cleanliness of the finca was not as I expected. Have to say though I have very high standards in regards to cleanliness. Furthermore, some AC's did not function, which led to very cold nights for some of my friends. Some information at the location I felt was missing. A small leaflet, with further information in the finca would have been helpful such as how to handle garbage. (12ppl for 6 nights produce some)

I would definitely book again.
