I had Maidmans for the second time in 7 years last January to move me from very large house to a smaller bungalow. They were really helpfull putting everything in the correct rooms as labeled and carefully wrapping delicate lamps and pictures for me. To their credit, 5 months later I needed a large bed moving and a very heavy sideboard moving to a different room, when I asked Maidmans if I could hire 2 men to move these items, they provided two men to do the job free of charge, for which I was very grateful. Thank you, Maidmans.

Maidmans have moved me several times and each time the team have been courteous, professional and happy to help. I’ve always been very pleased with the care they’ve taken with my move. They have also supported my charity for the past 3 years, giving their time to help collect Xmas trees in January, thank you for supporting the community.

I’ve used Maidmans a few times over the past couple of years as I needed my late mother’s documents, etc, shredded.
A friendly and accommodating business. I’ve paid less than £30 to their business but treated as I if I was an important and valued customer.
They let me witness the shredding being done for my piece of mind.
I cannot praise them enough for their kindness and professionalism.

Maidmans Moving and Storage Ltd provided extremely poor customer service dealing with extensive damage to my property and furniture. Not only did they manage to cause expensive damage to the house I had just sold, they broke a glass display cabinet and an expensive dining table. All damage was reported immediately and caused by one member of staff. No apology, nothing but a claim form for a useless insurance company. My advice would be to pay by credit card so at least you can activate a chargeback in the event of damage, as claiming through their insurance scheme is a waste of time. The irony is their removal packaging proudly states 'Maidmans, you're in safe hands'! From my experience, nothing could be further from reality. A simple apology might have avoided this review, but the office doesn't seem interested in customer service.
