Fraud and fake website. Please don't order anyone. As reading book they do cheating.

I ordered a set of Sudha Murthy's 7 books for my Grandson on 23 Jan 2026. The order number indicated was NR-116403. Two weeks later on around 7 Feb when I checked the status it still said "PROCESSING". That itself made me suspicious. Why should a set of 7 books listed as available on the website take two weeks to process and ship if it has already been paid for?

A week later on 14 Feb, when I checked it said "SHIPPED".

Subsequently on 27 Feb when I further checked for an update it still showed "PRODUCT DISPATCHED" with a delivery date between 21 to 24 Feb and this was already 27 Feb. I grew further suspicious of the website and have been continuously following up with them on the only contact given on their website an E-mail ID. No satisfactory response.

Today searching the web site for some phone number I found two numbers - 9344562268 and 7200833323 claiming to be available on WhatsApp too. But both returned as invalid numbers.

So I am seriously wondering if this is scam site and should I proceed with registering an official police complaint! The amount is not significant but it is matter of moral and ethical principles and customer service experience.

My first and only ever disappointing experience on online shopping.

Madrasshoppe is certainly a spam and a fake website selling books online but they never deliver the booked order. The tracking number of the books consignment is fake. Either they do not provide the tracking number or they provide a fake tracking number. Their fraudulent activities are also bringing bad name for the reputed authors of the books. The authorities must take punitive action against them and their fraudulent activities.

The company appears to be fraud. I had placed order two months before delivery yet not received. Contact number given on site are also fraud. Not approachable through these numbers. NO mail reply, no update ❓NO delivery, No contact though they had confirmed the order.

I have placed an order for a group book on 12-12-2025, made payment. Called this company complaint number 9344562268 nor response. Refer to the attached supporting documents. Help me to get back money with compensation. Also block this company to avoid others like me getting cheated. Thanks

They cheat customer. I had placed order for 7 set of books of Sudha Murthy on Feb 1 money collected on online order no 116611.
No delivery date comit. After lot of followup on WhatsApp no given they said delivery by 24th Feb. It was not delivered. Have sent emails WhatsApp msg no response. Tried customer care no responses. Its cheating co

Since almost 2 months my order hasn't reached me neither have i got my refund which i requested 4 times!!!

No updates on the delivery.
This is not a trust worthy brand. Please do not pay before it gets delivered. Always choose cash on delivery option or check for other brands.

Fraud website. Payment happens instantly but dispatch and delivery does not happen in this life time. Ordered books 3 years ago and still awaiting delivery.

Blantantly cheated of my money rs. 1000, i paid for Harry Potter series. Surprised, this scam site continues to be running and also gets shown in top 10 search results. Filed a complaint on cybersecurity.gov.in and awaiting action from the cyber branch.

My order I'd - 115083. It's pre-paid order. It's been a 10 days now. No order processing information. Those two numbers 9344562268, 7200833323 are invalid (doesn't exist). No response at all. It's fake.

It's a fraud website

I had placed a prepaid order for a book in 2021. Its been 4 years now, neither the book came nor the refund. The status of the order still shows Awaiting Seller Confirmation. The seller does not respond to any emails.

So, save your money and order elsewhere.

Fake website , lost my money.

this is a fraud website ..dont go for any order ..the spelling is shoppe..so dont order at all and complain to cybercrime department if you have ordered something

I would have given zero star. Ordered book on 23.01.2025. It was prepaid. Order I'd 108262. Order canceled by the company and not me on 11.02.2025. They said they will refund within 5 working days. Even after 14 days, there has been no refund. There is no response to messages and calls on the number given. Highly unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. I have all the details of the order and it is a genuine review and not a motivated one. Will never trust these people again.
