We have a lumberjack Mt Buffalo and in all honesty every trip we have made there has been problems. First trip fridge fell out only to find out six screws were not driven all the way in. One of the stabiliser legs has been attached crooked and the welding had cracked. The TV plug ins were broken and then we find out the same TV is not compatible as it's digital and not analogue so we have never been able to have TV. And now we have discovered the toilet won't flush..We also were given only one key for the door instead of two..Do they really care, I don't think so. For a brand new van I didn't expect things to go wrong so soon.
Very sad to say but I'm not a happy customer.

We’re considering buying a camper…
We’re considering buying a camper trailer. Looking at Johanna series 2. Don’t get me wrong, we had and will look at few more till we make our mind up. Salesman we spoke to for about a hr new his stuff. As we ask him where it was made, he replied in China. Hmm, my alarm bells went off. Heard to many bad stories about it. He explained to us that they import them and change the running gear and electric’s to Aussie made ones and a few more things like canvas and so fort. In the end off the day your still towing a frame around that’s made in China and not fully build in Australia. In my books it’s not a 100% Aussie made camper. I like to know the views of the company who sells them.
Unethical, Dishonest, Poor Quality... BEWARE
Avoid Lumberjack at all costs. If we could score a zero, they'd be getting it.
We were original owners of a 2020 Lumberjack Glenaire, purchased in early October 2020 that was unable to be used for a period of 10months since the purchase of the trailer as a result of Lumberjack failing to provide a serviceable product and as per the conditions of the purchase of sale.
Initial sales service was exemplary, however don't be fooled... once they have your hard earned savings things very quickly turn into an absolute nightmare. Lumberjack charged us almost $4,000 for 'optional extras' however failed to deliver on any of the extras and provided us with a defective trailer unfit for the purpose of purchase. The Glenaire is sold as a motorised opening trailer, however straight from the factory the trailer was incapable of lifting the rear bed (even with Batteries at full capacity) and the remote control unit was non responsive (again new battery fitted) and required manual set up. Checked other posts and it seems to be a common fault with the Glenaire and Lumberjack charge in excess of $2,000 to provide replacement actuators at the customers expense... Product Recall?
After attempting to have the long list of defects rectified and have Lumberjack make good on the conditions of the purchase agreement, after 7months we were left with no option but to escalate things further through the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal, who ruled Lumberjack were to provide a refund in full amongst other conditions.
This organisation is completely dishonest and unethical and is most certainly not committed to supporting their customers as they proclaim, instead in the event of a warranty claim, or in the event they do not produce the product that the customer has paid for they just give you the run around (10 months from start to finish) and produce no resolutions to any of the problems . They will attempt to talk they way out of any situation and will provide fictitious responses to any negative feedback provided in an attempt to convince their shrinking customer base of their professionalism and commitment to their customers... don't do as we have done and fall for it.
This organisation has defrauded us and others of their hard earned savings, charging for additional work that was not carried out, charging for additional extras that were never provided and the after sales support is absolutely atrocious. The trailer itself is substandard and displays a complete lack of knowledge of suitable and compatible materials... using steel hardware on aluminium resulting in immediate and sever galvanic corrosion. Numerous 'stainless steel' hardware had badly rusted and corroded and required replacement even when the trailer had been housed in a secured shed for its entire life.
Before Lumberjack attempt to discredit our review as they had attempted with all other negative reviews, it must be pointed out that not one single third party tradesman has carried out any work on our camper, the defects and challenges are direct from Lumberjack alone.
A total waste of time, money and resources dealing with them. There are much better options than Lumberjack out there and we intend to invest our families money into a number of other providers aside from Lumberjack.
Avoid Lumberjack at all costs.
great communication until it goes wrong...
We were in the market for a small (teardrop) campervan and were impressed with the price of the sorento from lumberjack. During the sales cycle the company was excellent to work with, very vast responses, even during the weekend. The company claimed that constructions happened in Victoria and that parts came from china. This was the first lie. we found out later, that lumberjack is just and import company who resells standard chinese products. After we placed the order, it was impossible to get the configuration confirmed, every time it was a bit different (after our order, during sales all was possible) and when our personal circumstances changed, we were not impressed that when we cancelled our order even after 3 days we didn't get our 1000 down payment back. We knew this and it was part of the t&c's but still. all communication seized. wouldn't recommend buying from this company, they definitely won't have your back in the long run.

My buffalo hubrid
We got the Mt buffalo and it great.
The deal was with a free aircon and fridge and awning.
Communication was great throughout the order time.
It was a special build for us.
The quality is perfect and we have not had an issue.
Would recommend
Decent showroom & nice people
The showroom in Geelong has an alright setup but the smaller stuff & campers is at the back so they try to lead you to the bigger ones of course.
After I ordered there was a lot of stuff to read about setting it up and taking care of it so check that.
Taking the Camper out for it's first trip in the backyard this weekend but it looks pretty good so far!
Worth a look
Driven past the place so many times, finally went in. Trailers look great and staff were friendly without being pushy. I'm happy to recommend Lumberjack.
The She Oak experience.
The She Oak I took delivery of just prior to xmas has been put through it paces during the past 6 weeks of travel through NW Victoria (down the Murry into Sunset Dessert, Hatta Nat Prk, Big Dessert, Little Desert and finishing up in the Grampians). It has exceeded my expectations in every way, solidly built, well insulated, dry, and dust free, everything you could ask for in a truely off rd. van. Good to tow, enough storage space and thoroughly useable kitchen set up. I have also been imprest with the customer service prior to and during delivery and now after service attention (inquiring after some mods including possibly adding a heater). They listen attentively, take on board customer feedback which I beleive is the reason that the company continue to inovate and improve on an already terrific product.
Robust and reliable
Would recommend. We researched many models and found the sheoak perfect for our needs.
Ideal for 2 of us. Quick set up.
We take it off-road in regular trips with no issues.
So far been to the cape, oodnadatta track and Vic high country.
Lumberjack Sheoak, not fit for purpose.
We purchased our Lumberjack Sheoak with some hesitation being Chinese built, our fears where realised when we had complete chassis failure on the Oodnadatta track. To there credit it was repaired, however I have since replaced the entire chassis with a custom built (AL-KO) unit. They have since tried to discredit my internet reviews with rubbish about tyre pressures. Just be aware that you get what you pay for. Cheers
This company is a joke
This company is a joke, their products are extremely poor quality and do not work. The service offered by the company is non existent, you just get the run around, and no resolution to any problems.
I would never have dealt with them had I had any clue as to how terrible their customer service is. A total waste of time and money dealing with them. There are much better options than Lumberjack out there.
The unit is fantastic
The unit is fantastic. The only fault I found was the stickers all fell off and the rubber seals around the doors fall off and the vehicle was not dust proof travelling along the Gibb River road. i would recommend the camper to others. Very happy. I have the johanna and it is a liitle heavey

Great camper Lumberjack Otway
Great camper Lumberjack Otway, no issues so far. Salesperson gave me his mobile number if there were any problems. Owners facebook group has heaps of tips for customising as well. Recommended.
Expectations met.
Picked up our trailer a little over a month ago. After a little issue with the lighting that was fixed quickly, overall product is great and the service and handover has been good. Looking forward to a long trip to test the trailer out.
We have had a wonderful experience…
We have had a wonderful experience purchasing our first camper trailer. It took us 4yrs to make a decision to finally buy one.
After going to ALL the sites at the wodonga camping show and going in and out numerous times (poor Tim the salesman) We made the decision to go with the Allendale. We have had a few little hiccups with the kitchen and couple of other things but the support has been amazing.
One thing we would have liked when we picked up the camper was to be shown how to set it up. Packing it up is very easy but knowing if its set up right was one of our issues. Now we can set up our camper and pack it down in 20mins. Very very easy to use. Definetly set it up at home first before going out on your first trip.
Thank you lumberjack and Tim for a brilliant experience
