Main water stopcock
Main water stopcock. It was to replace a ceased up one of about 30 years old. The feed pipe was polythene but the new tap clamped onto it ok using the supplied olive. Decent price and did the job. The carrier was 2 or 3 days late delivering but we must expect this sort of thing nowadays.

Very poor customer service and product
Very poor customer service and product. The bath they supplied was damaged and they refused to replace it. They also send a bigger bath screen than the one I ordered which did not fit and then tried to suggest it was the bath configuration that was at fault and nothing to do with the screen they supplied being 40mm longer than the one I ordered. Best avoid and go local if you want a good service and the products to the spec and quality you orded

Having looked through the communication between yourself and the customer service team, I can see a replacement wasn't issued on the bath as the damage was reported after installation. The manufacturer supply installation instructions, films and stickers across the bath to advise these must be removed before installation to which any damage would have been noticed.
In regards to the bath screen, we do believe that the product specification may have changed over recent months so I cannot apologise enough for this. Due to the bath dimension these products should still be compatible as there is 10mm difference in the screen width and bath width, but the adjustment on the wall profile should allow to extend this if needed.
Our warehouse team have checked the remaining stock but these are the same as the one supplied to you. I can see you are in contact with our customer service team to get this resolved who have offered a collection and refund.
We aim to exceed our customers expectations and understand we have not met this. We can only hope you choose to shop with us again to give you the higher level of service we always aim for.

Can't manufacture to advertised size.
I ordered a 1700mm shower tray for my three wall shower enclosure. The shower tray arrived at the full 13mm oversize that the company deems acceptable in manufacture. In a 3 wall shower enclosure, 13mm is crucial and not what I deem acceptable.
The company offered a refund but only if I returned the tray to the store. As I live in SE England and the store is in Birmingham, this is not possible. I am now £300 out of pocket.
I ordered one from Victorian Plumbing which came at exactly the size advertised, so it's not too difficult to manufacture to size. Won't be using this company again.

I'd like to apologise that you did not find the product suitable for your installation. Due to the way the shower trays are manufacturered, there may be a tolerance on several dimensions. We try to advertise this as clearly as possible on the product page of all shower trays. Unfortunately, because of this we can't guarantee the exact measurements of the trays we receive.
We aim to keep our website as up to date as possible with the latest information and advice from our manufacturers/suppliers. This being said, we will pass your feedback onto the manufacturer to ensure there are no changes to this particular product, as we never aim to mislead our customers.

Totally stressful
Totally stressful. Ordered 3 big items, with 2 of them being 'unavailable' despite being given a delivery window. First, one item was damaged and there was no replacement. Eventually paid to upgrade to a more expensive version. So all seemed fine. Then, a second item was found to be 'broken' and no other items were in stock. Various delivery promises given and broken. Eventually had to settle for a model I didn't want as the job was well underway and I had to have something. Avoid if you value your sanity.

I'm extremely sorry to hear of the number of issues regarding your order. I can fully appreciate that these issues have caused a lot of distress and inconvenience. Unfortunately, on rare occasions we can incur damages whether this is a stocked item or something that needs to be ordered in from our supplier, which may be damaged due to transit.
From looking into your order I can see there was a split delivery between ourselves and our supplier so I can only presume this is the reasoning for damages on two different days. I have since raised this as an area of concern, as we want to offer the best possible service for delivery which includes the quality and nature of our products. We perform thorough checks prior to delivery, but we appreciate this must be checked earlier to ensure we provide our customers with enough time to choose an alternative. I'm afraid in this instance there was no like for like replacement.
We aim to exceed our customers expectations and we understand we have fallen well below our usual level of service and this simply is not good enough. We can only hope you provide us with an opportunity in the future to give you the higher level of service we aim for. You're more than welcome to contact me directly for future queries. Cancelled Order
Ordered a radiator from this company. Took my order and payment, then after 2-3 days, contacted me to cancel order, which left me rushing to get one elsewhere. Excuse was problems with pallet supplies. Would not use again.

Awful just awful
I will write little update as I have to say their customers service is good if it comes to sorting the refund.
I can’t agree more with previous reviewer about low skilled customer service! I phoned them and lady on the phone was just rude and spoke to me like I did something wrong by phoning her. DO NOT pay for express delivery such a thing doesn’t exist with them I still don’t have my item that I ordered and paid for express delivery on 16/07 and I still didn’t receive it yet I double checked if it was in stock when placing order over the phone. Will never use them again. And hope of you will read this review and don’t get rip off by them

Good value, but not all that quick..
Given an average rating as had an issue initially with items that were shown as 'in stock' but turned out otherwise, although things got sorted out, fortunately we were not in a hurry. The items are good and good value for money so no complaints on that part and they do get issues dealt with.

I'd like to apologise that the items were not in stock at the point of purchase. Due to an increased demand we have fallen short of our usual stock levels, so we were awaiting a restocking from our supplier. Unfortunately, our website is not stock controlled therefore we try to advertise as much as possible to check stock prior to ordering. We understand the inconvenience this can cause therefore, in recent weeks i'm happy to say that we have trialed a few days to improve this part of our service, to which these changes will be implemented in due course.
Despite the above, i'm glad to hear you're happy with the items purchased and our competitive prices.
We hope you choose to shop with us again in the future, so we can give you the high level of service we always aim for. Thank you for our 3-star rating.

Absolutely awful customer service
Awful customer service from the man at the shop counter. I placed an order to collect an item and received confirmation that it was ready to collect. On the day of collection, I drove over an hour to the shop and gave a man behind the counter my order number. He went off to look for my item. I waited for nearly half an hour and he hadn’t returned. There was another member of staff there so I explained to him that I’d given my order ref to someone but he hadn’t come back after nearly half an hour. The member of staff was very rude and responded with “well the girls on the telephone shouldn’t tell you your item is here because maybe it isn’t”. He then shrugged his shoulders and clearly didn’t want to speak to me.
I was disgusted that he spoke to me like that. I told him that I had confirmation my order was ready to collect and instead of trying to find out where the first man had gone, or trying to help me, he started talking to another customer. I have never felt so appalled by such a bad level of customer service. Low Cost Plumbing? More like Low Level Service.
I will NEVER use them again.

I apologise if you were not advised that the item you purchased had to be ordered in for you. Our supplier offers a next working day delivery service to us but unfortunately, this does not include weekends meaning the item would not arrive to our warehouse until the Monday. We consider communication to be the utmost important part of our service, so I'm sorry to hear your experience fell well below our expected standard.
In regard to your experience when visiting our trade counter, I am upset to hear we have left you with such feelings. I'd like to thank you for bringing this to our attention, as I will escalate this with those involved, as this certainly is not the level of service we want to offer.
