Picked up my new car today and the service has been excellent. Danny was brilliant and made the whole process a breeze. I would definitely use Lookers again. Really pleased with the car.

So I purchased a Ford Transit van over the phone via a in depth video. On collection the brief look around the van I noticed a dent on the rear door so I mentioned this but at no point was this documented as Matthew the salesman popped in on his day off for the official handover which lasted around 5 minutes. So having the van for under 1 week I noticed some other things i wasn't happy with so made a call but unfortunately as soon as I mentioned Consumer Rights act 2015 I never got to speak with Matthew again and still but I got Will the Sales Manager who kindly stated I do not have any rights because my 5 minute handover was sufficient. Meanwhile I had found another Van but at Lookers Colchester and the salesman was super helpful, I then mentioned this vehicle to Will but unfortunately he absolutely slagged and slated this other van saying "It may have 1 owner but poss used by 50 other people, may not have Ford warranty, full of dents and scratches which I said surely you would rectify these before the sale but apparently not ETC. ETC. ETC. so really trying his hardest to put me off potentially returning my unhappy van to then purchase a van I would be happy with, but like Will mention apparently I have NO CONSUMER RIGHTS,. So on contacting Lookers Colchester branch and repeating the conversation to them, they were stunned and couldn't believe the way I had been treated after spending £27000.00 so as it transpired it was under ford warranty as they had just serviced it at Colchester. So the dent is going to be rectified on my new purchase which I'm still unhappy with. Also paid £1k for a extended 3 year warranty which the paperwork was wrong stating manual transmission instead of Automatic, now rectified but still not good enough from a dealer like Lookers. So people be careful dealing with Lookers Chelmsford Transit Centre because they take your money then discard you like a cigarette end when you have an issue when under 7 days of purchase. Matthew Lines still wont accept my calls anymore after his £500 commission earnt...

I had a great experience having my car serviced by Ford. From booking the appointment to collecting the car, the whole process was smooth, well organised, and completely hassle-free.

Communication throughout was excellent, everything was clearly explained, and the service was completed on time with no unnecessary upselling. The car was returned in great condition and it was clear that care and attention to detail had been taken.

Overall, a very professional and seamless service. I’d happily use Ford again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Very difficult to park and find service desk. Only offered an 8am arrival slot. Told my wait would be only 2 hours, actually waited for almost 3 hours.

Very easy to book and drop off was excellent. Work carried out as required (service and mot. Kept in formed as to how things were going. Easy process to collect and everything was explained. My only criticism would be that it was rather expensive but overall I was pleased.

Friendly staff , listened to what I wanted … the reason I didn’t give 5 stars and this is being very picky is because the day I went to pick up my new car we had to wait. We had an appointment and in the end the manager started the hand over process. In all great service given. Will definitely be back .

Booking online was easy. I always use chelmsford for servicing as its where i purchased my van.
Easy service check in and courtesy van was ready for me to collect. I was able to keep van overnight to save me travelling back late afternoon in all chelmsfords traffic. We also usefull as van was what i am looking to upgrade to.

Efficient and clear with information. Answered questions and queries. Love the little explanatory video. Good value for money

I have been dealing with this branch for quite a few years now, and travel from Rayleigh to Chelmsford, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, customer service is second to none 5 stars 🌟 all the way

Perfect purchase ! From picking up the phone and making the call to driving my brand new Ford Ranger of the forecourt, Hannah Shawe within sales made my life so much easier and the paperwork ! Supply and demand for my specification of 'Ranger' was Hannah's task, but no need to worry as the truck was secured for me PDQ.
