Dealing with these people was more traumatic than watching my father die. The night of my father's death, extremely late in the night they began calling and harassing my little sister, then me, then insisting I give them my aunts phone number. They opened the conversation by telling me how they already "HARVESTED" my father's eyes and submitted me to a 20+minute questionnaire that ended with me on the ground in the fetal position as the representative hammered me with cold scripted questions. The questionnaire so extensive and intimate, I cannot imagine how anybody, except maybe a spouse, could possibly answer them all. My dad led a private life and nobody could provide answers for all their questions. By the next afternoon I was told they already "HARVESTED" all of his organs and eyes and "so sorry, but we won't be able to donate them without all our questions answered" and was told "Maybe we can use them for science". I was promised information on what ultimately happens with his organs and eyes, but that information has never been given to me, despite my multiple attempts to reach someone. This whole experience has been so shocking, disgusting, and inhumane that I have changed my status and am no longer an organ doner. I advise everyone I meet to do the same.

There is no accountability fir any members of this cult, especially nz where its primarily a good bunch but my experience is with the 14 feb 2024 Cambridge president with whom ive emailed lions head office and international many times and received no response. Pretty disgusting seeing the huge financial support they garnish the ceo with.

Let me preface by saying the lions club does awesome work for individuals and communities, very commendable. With that said NO ONE should face the humiliation of a three page interrogation of a person's/household's income and expenses. They even wanted the person's health insurance policy/member number if they have insurance. We understand they want to help people in need and want to know they are helping people who really need help but three pages is is way too much and way too invasive. They don't want a thing to take a kid shopping for Christmas gift but they want a complete a full portrait of someone financial situation. This needs to change. People want help but they don't want their privacy invaded and to feel humiliated for asking for help. Please revise your method lion's club

I experienced racism and anti-African discrimination against me from this organization. Their representatives in the IT department called my wife the n word while we were shopping in Oakbrook at the mall. My wife is African from Kenya.
