I wouldn’t recommend this company they have a very short returns period and the staff are rude. I am now stuck with a pair of curtains I don’t want. Looks like others have had a poor experience too.

Two Table Lamps
We are absolutely delighted with the two table lamps purchased recently. Having used the Lightening Company before, we knew of the high quality of the product sold.
Delivery was really quick and they arrived exquisitely packaged. We can’t recommend them enough!!

The light I chose was quite expensive but got a 10% discount...delivery took a little longer but I was kept in the loop..packed beautifully and very pleased with my purchase.

A truly professional but friendly company

Average, could do better
Average. Product ordered on a Sunday. One confirmation email received. No tracking info. No contact from courier. Contacted customer service, sent an email, no reply. Finally product which was good, arrived out of the blue Friday evening.
Could do better would be my review.

Returns policy
Poor customer service team who don’t want to help.
Be wary of their return policy of only 14 days !! I’m within 28 days however they won’t allow me to return as I didn’t let them know within 14 days. Be wary. Wouldn’t shop here again. Advisor Lynne was no help. Didn’t even try to help and even as gesture of goodwill try to help me return as I wasn’t aware of the 14 days return policy

Hi Abdul, I'm sorry you don't feel you have experienced a good service from us. We have a very fair returns policy and make you aware of this before your purchase, at the time we send your order confirmation and when we send your notification of dispatch and numerous other times. I feel that we did fairly give every opportunity for you to fully understand that you had 14 days to inspect the goods and advise if you wished to return the items. In actual fact you didn't contact us until after 28 days. The advisor cannot offer goodwill when we have done as you asked and shipped the goods. It would be unfair to expect us to do something different for you even if you say you will leave us a bad review. I feel we just have to trust that others who see the review understand that businesses do need to be fair and transparent even in the face of a negative review. Most times people know there has to be a limit and we do have to abide by the distance selling laws. Which is what we have done and will continue to do. We really did do everything we should have and I'm sorry that we cannot accept a return after the item has been out of our care for such a long period of time.

The Lighting Company returns policy is not great, be warned. You pay for returns. But the worst is not getting your money back for a very long time. I sent a return on 5/09 and heard nothing /no money. Chased on 19/09 & was told it would be in my account in 10-14 working days. No email was sent acknowledging the return, I chased. Still waiting now on 05/10 for my money and could be as long as next week - that’s 5 weeks in normal time!!! TLC are banking a lot of money before they return to you. Not satisfactory in this digital age of banking
