Landys Chemist offers a wide range of quality supplements and a friendly website easy to find what you are looking for. I will always check their website
The cheapest prices I could find for the aftershave I was after by some margin. Fast dispatch and well packaged. I will be checking Landys first before I buy any other perfumes or aftershaves.👍
Very easy to navigate web site Products were supplied quickly and at a more competitive price than the high street The most important thing was that the tablets (magnesium) were what I had ordered... Leggi di più

Wrongly listed product
Wrongly listed a product via cosmetify - a different strength of tablets - then refused to offer a refund or even arrange a free return when this was pointed out to them. Terrible customer service.

Risposta di Landys Chemist
I'm so sorry to see this. Unfortunately Cosmetify are responsible for their listings on their site - not us. We provide them content and if they fail to update it then it's their responsibility to pay for a return label. Kind regards and apologies, Landys Chemist

Scammed
Scammed. Unbeknown to me I have joined a subscription service where I am sent and charged for a bottle of Ralph Lauren polo every month! I have experienced most petty crooks' scams but this one is bizarre! By the way, their website is fraudulent as there is no family chemist: Mr Landy sold up in 1983 and also they refer to themselves as a limited company - according to Companies House the "company" has been dormant for years.
____________________________________________________________
Cocky, sharp practice which usually backfires. Taught me a lesson to investigate small online retailers who can only make a profit it seems by deceiving customers. There is no "contract" which shows I agreed to purchase a bottle of Ralph Lauren Polo every month indefinitely and I have told Royal Mail I am refusing delivery (but another foreign owed useless service we have to put up with) and ringing my credit card company to stop payment.
Why can't you just play nice and make an honest living without duping people?

Risposta di Landys Chemist
Hi Irene,
Thansk for your email. On our website the default setting is "One Time Purchase". If you switched to "Subscribe and Save" then you will end up subscribing.
You are quite right that Mr Landy sold in 1983. He sold to the family who run and own the business. As per our privacy policy, the website is operated by Lemongold Limited (Not landyschemist limited). You could also visit our store and meet the family of owners who also work there everyday.
Wishing you all the best.
