We chose Kettles after getting three designs from firms in the Plymouth area. From the start we were extremely impressed with Simon Nicholson's professionalism, patience, creativity and sensitive advice. He stood out and we chose Kettles as we were able to trust Simon. He was able to maximise the use of our space and helped to make sure that the kitchen would reflect the character of our old farmhouse. The range of units and worktops available from Kettles was better than any others we saw and the colours we were able to choose have worked perfectly. The timetable for installing the kitchen had to be worked into extensive building works. Simon arranged this so that it all went very smoothly and everything happened on time.
We are very pleased with our new kitchen which looks stunning. It was fitted by Paul, one of Kettle's installers. Paul was very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. He has done a great job. When he discovered our extractor would not fit he was quick to contact Kettles and Simon immediately arranged an alternative and covered the costs. We felt this was exceptional.

Kettle Co... Put it this way, hoping to buy another house in the next few years, I won't be looking anywhere else. I had 5/6 companies quote for my kitchen, all reaching very similar designs. The thing that put me off the others most was having to find a decent fitter... I'd had a crap experience with the last builder! From start to finish these guys were great, excellent non pushy salesman that managed the project from start to finish. A fantastic fitter who not only sorted the kitchen, did the bathroom and building work too! The finish is ace and worth every penny! Thanks Kettle Co! (Ross and Dan)

From the moment we walked into kettle & co kitchens and met Ross I knew we were going to be looked after and get a good quality kitchen .
Many obstacles as the kitchen is small and uneven in so many different palaces so a lot of recalculating to do . I site meeting with Ross myself and the kitchen fitter Alex revealed several thing which we were able to address and change . They worked with HBH Woolacotts who we were getting all the appliances from Kianna was our point of contact , well she’s been amazing always happy always helpful and quick in getting back to me . She dealt with a company they had not dealt with before on one of the large appliances which needed a lot of planning form filling and measuring etc .
The Kitchen amd appliances arrived when stated . The carcasses where already made up and all my visitors all remarked what good quality the units where .
Alex the fitter is a sheer delight , he’s calm and always positive , he has an amazing work ethic . He cleans up after himself amd along the way too covering areas that should be covered to avoid damage . He is trust worthy so much so I was happy to let him keep my house keys so he could come and go without me being there . He did additional tiling for me and made several adjustments to shelves added extra or Re adjusted some . Alex is a credit to the company and very skilled … he should be proud of himself .
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others looking for a new kitchen … I’ve already showed a neighbour around who was very impressed . HBH Woolacotts I’ve already recommended to others who have thus made purchases from them and everyone said how helpful they were as soon as they entered the store .
So it’s a bug YES from me let’s press the Gold button 🤣🙌. The bubbles are on me when you come and photograph .
And Ross THANKYOU for not making me feel bad when I said that cost is too much can we tweak things and go for a cheaper this or that .

Delighted! We purchased our new kitchen from Kettle and from the outset staff were friendly, helpful, patient(!) and managed to work in everything we asked for. We used our own fitter. Couldn't be happier with the final result!

I’m on week 8 of a 2 week installation booked & planned in 2021…dream kitchens these are not, no word to my complaint addressed to the owners Dale & Simon, I can’t eat in my kitchen & half the cupboards aren’t constructed. I have no feature breakfast unit & no end in sight it’s been a total disaster

We were extremely impressed with the help and advise we received from Kettle Kitchens. Simon was particularly helpful when we were deciding on which worktop would best suit our needs. Surveying and installation was excellent with minimal disruption - our whole experience was faultless. We highly recommend Kettle Kitchens and wouldn't hesitate in using them in the future.

Due to start 11th April, we checked twice in preceding week but fitter phoned on Saturday to say unable to start.
Wrong size cabinets supplied. No communication about progress, left in the dark but we got completion on 8th July. So a 2 week job took 11 weeks.
My advice is check all plans twice and then a third time. Our experience has been so different to other people so just be aware.

We actually placed a deposit with another company for our new kitchen before we discovered Kettles and Paul Mills who we quickly changed too.

Through out the whole process Paul and Kettles have been excellent, the customer service is second to none. Paul's attention to detail when designing our kitchen was excellent and the layout works perfectly.

Our friends and family love the kitchen.

We had our kitchen designed with Ross at kettle kitchens in Plymouth.

The time and thought Ross gave to ensure we were happy with the design went above anything we ve encountered before .
He gave us lots of options and was more than happy to discuss things over again to ensure we had the kitchen we wanted .
Ross was professional friendly and so approachable . We trusted him in helping us choose the right design style of kitchen and colour choice ,and now it’s fitted we are over the moon .

We would highly recommend Ross and kettle kitchen .
The customer service was excellent and any query’s were dealt with in a speedy manner . Communication with Ross was superb and even answered emails late at night and over the weekends .

Delivery drivers were great on time and very friendly .

Our appliances came from woolacotts and again the service was fantastic .

Very helpful from the outset and you felt that your kitchen was being planned especially for you taking into account all your needs and suggesting requirements you hadn't thought of.Being able to view and purchase all electrical goods in the same premisses was also a bonus.Woukd thoroughly recommend.

We had our kitchen delivered and installed in January, we forgot to post a review (and didn’t get asked).

Thank you so much to Kettle. We found your product far superior to anything else we looked at and everyone comments on our dream kitchen when they see it. We would not hesitate to recommend you.

August 2020 - Our kitchen was fitted in August and the issues started almost immediately. Several appliance doors were missing when the kitchen was delivered and the wrong tap was ordered. The splash back was also missing.

10th September 2020 - I emailed and called Dan at Kettle repeatedly about the missing items and asked if he could give me a date for when the kitchen would finally be finished.

24th September 2020 - Yet more unanswered emails regarding the completion of the kitchen.

28th September 2020 - Finally receive a response from Dan saying that the splashback will be delivered to them in a week and could be fitted from the 12th October onwards.I express how disappointed I am in their lack of communication and point out that the kitchen installation they said would take 2 weeks has now taken 2 months.I get no response.

19th October 2020 - Dan emails to say the splashback has been delayed again as it was damaged, but that the missing doors will be fitted on 20th October.

2nd November 2020 - called Dan as I had heard nothing regarding the splashback. He told me it would be fitted the next day!

3rd November 2020 - Kitchen is finally completed, three months after it was started.

7th January 2021 - Email Dan as we have noticed the paint has split on one of the cupboard door.He promises he will get a new door ordered and delivered and then arrange for a fitter to replace it for us.

16th March 2021- Emailed Dan again, still no replacement door or any response.

21st March 2021- Dan emailed to say the door had been delivered to them and they would book in a fitter to replace it for us. We hear nothing back... for ... months.

17th May - emailed again, no response.

29th June - emailed again, no response. We assume at this punt that Dan no longer works for Kettle (this turns out no to be true.)

18th November 2021- My wife calls Kettle and speaks to Charlie (who claims to be the manager) as we have still heard nothing about the door with the split paint. In the intervening 8 months, several other doors also have also developed splits in the paintwork. He is rude and unpleasant on the phone and try to blame everyone else at Kettle for the delay. He demands to see photos (bear in mind that Dan has already had a photo since January).

I email Charlie with photos and say how fed up I am at having to chase them for months.He responds claiming that the split paint is “dirt and not a warranty issue”. He also claims that painted doors will suffer from “bumps and bruises if knocked”. All the effected ares of our doors are on internal surfaces not on any edges or corners so this makes no sense.He offers to supply touch up paint “free of charge!”.

I respond that this is not acceptable.

Charlie eventually agrees to replace the affected doors and says they will be with us in 14 days and he will arrange a fitter.

He then emails to explain that because it has been so long since the cupboards were made (which is entirely their fault), they can’t guarantee a colour match unless I can supply them with a sample... which I will need to post to Northern Ireland. I’m somewhat incredulous at this but luckily I do have a small section of plinth in the garage. I cut this down and post it Recorded Delivery, to Northern Ireland. Charlie promises to reimburse me for the postage. Charlie never does. I never hear from Charlie again.

9th February 2022 - a delivery of cupboard doors unexpectedly arrives with no warning. Luckily we are in and manage to find space for them in the garage.I email Charlie to let him know they are here, it’s been a VERY long 14 days. I hear nothing back.

19th February - I call Kettle and ask to speak to Charlie. I am told he no longer works there. I explain what has happened and am told Matt will call me back on 24th February.

24th February 2022- Matt doesn’t call back.

3rd March 2022 - Matt emails and asks if 11th March is OK for the doors to be fitted. I agree.

11th March 2022 - Fitters arrive and discover the colour of the doors doesn’t match.

15th March - having heard nothing from Kettle regarding this fiasco I’ve decided to leave them a review....

15th March - (mere hours after posting the 1* review) Dayle (the owner of Kettle) calls me to apologise and offer to sort everything out and pay us compensation. I agree to take down my review while I wait.

22nd March 2022 - Matt visited and photographed all the issues. He gave some excuses for some of them and said that he and Dayle would put together a plan and get back to me in a week. He did not apologise for any of the delays.

June 15th - It has now been 1 1/2 years since we noticed the split paint and informed Kettle of the problem and three months since Dayle promised to put together a plan. I have run out of characters in this review for all the other details but I have also run out of patience.

Kettle (Plymouth branch) redesigned our kitchen and offered great advice on how to maximise space and efficiency.
Service was good throughout the process with ongoing help and clear communication.
Very pleased with the final result, worktops and integrated appliances are excellent.
More than happy to recommend Kettle.

Kettle Co redesigned the layout and units in our kitchen. They came up with some really good ideas to create more storage space while also minimising clutter. They listened and adapted the designs to what we needed. They helped with colour choices with suggestions and different samples. The units are of high quality and we're really happy with the end result.

Perfect service

We prefer to support local businesses wherever possible and Kettle Kitchens were highly recommended to us. Our designer was Jodie and she gave us an absolutely faultless service. She was extremely friendly and efficient and totally professional throughout, responding immediately to any emails, even on her day off. The whole process from start to finish was seamless and when the original granite supplier had problems in their supply, she rapidly found a new supplier. The new units and the granite topped island look lovely and have transformed the kitchen. Her service was exemplary and we would not hesitate to recommend Jodie and Kettle Kitchens.

We are so pleased with our new kitchen and the professional service we received from Kettle Kitchens. Hannah was our designer, she listened to what we wanted, made great suggestions and never appeared bothered when things were changed! Communication and organisation of delivery, fitting, etc. was great! Mark fitted our kitchen and has done an amazing job!

We visited the showroom in St Austell to view the displays, we were not hassled and were free to view at our leisure. We made our choice and approached Kieran, he introduced himself in a friendly and professional manner. We mentioned our choice and were given information and advice, we felt welcome and decided to go ahead with a home visit, Kieran arrived at our chosen date on time and explained what the next steps were, he completed his measuring and provided us with a kitchen plan for us to view and alter if necessary, his expertise in kitchen design was evident and nothing seemed too much trouble, so we decided and felt confident of Kierans professionalism to go ahead.the kitchen was manufactured on time and Kieran kept us updated throughout, it was delivered on a date to suit us and the units came fully built and well protected from damage during transit and storage until required by our fitter. The end result was amazing, far exceeding our expectations, all due to the professionalism and expertise off Kieran, a product of very good quality and exceptional work by our fitter. Thank you for a fantastic kitchen to all those who had an input.

Having not received the best service for getting a design and price completed by a national chain, I asked Kettle to quote. I decided to go with their signature range, which meant they are more expensive than your standard kitchen, but are guaranteed for 25 years. My kitchen is compact and Jodie in the St Austell branch managed to provide a design and that maximised the storage along with an draw under the cooker that I was not aware I was getting. The range of finishing and colours you can get is great. The units arrived fully assembled which meant progress was swift after the initial prepping. I would definitely recommend Kettle product but that’s where it ends.
Six months on with snagging it feels like my customer experience is not cared about. I’ve had to call several times to get the installer back, with now two missed appointments. Don’t choose their installed option.

We have had a lovely kitchen supplied by Kettle Kitchens at Plymouth. The sevice and professional guidance we received has been outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the units were excellent and delivered on time ready assembled. All the staff were friendly and helpful but our main thanks go to Hannah who was the main person we dealt with. She was very professional and helped a great deal with ideas from the outset. Hannah remained in touch throughout the entire installation making sure everything went smoothly. We have no hesitation in recommending both Kettle Kitchens and Hannah.

We popped to the Plymouth branch to and met Paul who was so enthusiastic about the kitchens that were designed and built by Kettle. Hannah desigend our new kitchen. Actually she designed two kitchens for us; the first design was in the original location within the house. She designed a stunning kitchen in a difficult layout. Another top kitchen company had tried to complete a design but did the planner did not seem to offer any creative solutions for difficult spaces, wanting to fill these with wasted voids. Hannah always often solutions that were very useable and did not waste storage space.
We then decided to remove some walls and move the kitchen from the front to the back of our house. I was so relieved to see how excited Hannah was to sit down to work with us again to create a another new design. Wow! We were blown away with her new design and we are enjoying every second being in our new kitchen.
Hannah was with us every step of the way which was so reassuring. When a change was needed she responded speedily, yet again, with a creative solution. We have recommended Kettle to our friends and Hannah in particular as well as Alex who was our fitter.
Alex has a real attention to detail. I thought that I did but Alex's focus, skill and attention to detail was fanastic. He also built us a bespoke sitting area which is wonderful.
In essence, the overall experience, care, skill, creative solutions and communication from Kettle staff were exemplary.
