I was cold-called by a representative who already knew my name despite me having no prior contact with Kalkine.

I'm fairly new to investing and I subscribed after being told that I'd be getting quality advice and frequent updates on what stocks to invest in and when to sell. The upfront cost was $1,100 AUD.

I was very hesitant and before I committed, I started recieving daily phone calls for about 3 weeks.

After subscribing, I had one initial success but I started to notice that the daily recommendations were a day late.

I was told I needed to diversify my portfolio but when I asked for recommendations from other sectors, I was told this required a separate $1,100 subscription.
It was never explicity stated that the basic plan's recommendations would be so restricted.

The most concerning part of my experience was when I was phoned and asked to write 5 star reviews on three different platforms. I was sent an email with the links and was made to write the reviews while the representative was still on the line. They even verified that I'd actually submitted them! I felt very uncomfortable and coerced.

After that, I stopped engaging. I feel I was subjected to unethical, high pressure marketing tactics throughout. I would encourage anyone considering Kalkine to ask for documentation and to read the fine print. Please think carefully before spending your money with them.

They give you some good recommendations to get you to sign up and pay. Since then I’ve had all losses, quite significant losses. I’ve had to chase to get someone to contact me and then continue to be told I have to pay more to get better recommendations! I don’t recommend this company and buyer beware. You will constantly be hassled for money!

My experience is identical to everyone else who’s left a 1-Star review. Kalkine operate like a bunch of scam artists. The rotating call numbers, calling after hours, etc, the list goes on.

The reason why I do not use my real name or email address, is to prevent you from harassing me, like you’ve done in the past.

I signed up expecting expert investment guidance but ended up losing my money following some recommendations while also paying subscription fees.

What disappointed me most was being pushed multiple times to upgrade to an expensive premium subscription despite not seeing results from the initial service. There were a lot of big promises about returns and future opportunities but I personally didn’t see those results eventuate which left me questioning the quality of the stock analysis. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience and would suggest doing thorough research before signing up.

Following Kalkine’s response, I have already provided my invoice details to Trustpilot to verify that I am a genuine customer and that this review reflects my personal experience.

I had a great experience with Sal. She helped me through all stages step by step with patience.

Need to start off with Max who never stopped mentioning about your company and the good things it does. He kept on trying to bring me along for months and finally I decided to do so because of his honesty and efforts. Thank you Max, the reports are great. I never wanted to invest in shares again as before I was disappointed with previous companies, but Max convinced me about what your company that can provide the information in shares, reports and dividends for me to consider. Thank you again Max.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with Sal who showed me how to navigate your site. Thank you Sal for your patience in trying to contact me and for your great explanation. I was convinced by several kalkine representatives to invest in their stock market advice. Each time more money was asked each time tge representative promised a good outcome but each time I lost money. Kalkine are professional scammers, don't believe anything they tell you.

Mary was lovely to talk to about stocks, and very comprehensive and informative!

Mary and the team I have spoken to have been kind, understanding and helpful to do a bit of investing. Unfortunately I am not in the financial position to be able to spend my savings on buying lots of stocks but the little I have and prepared to invest with the advice from the team have helped me find good stocks to invest in. Unfortunately due to market conditions and precise timing of buying stocks has not always worked out for me through no fault of the Kalkine team.

Incessant high pressure sales tactics and a tsunami of repeated nuisance phone calls despite being told I’m not interested in subscribing. They do not want to take no for an answer. Next step is to report them to ASIC if they persist with unwanted contact.
