I have severe allergies and in a world…

I Visited the burg al Arab and I have severe allergies and in a world that is so much more aware I assumed they would to take this seriously I told them before ordering and whilst they ensured the main food was safe to eat, they completed forgot to check the bread rolls. I felt this needed to be highlighted to them given the status of the hotel and have been completely ignored and heard nothing back. for a 7 star hotel this is so poor and I would warn anyone that it comes across that they don’t care. Happy to take your money but………

Deceptive and insincere – Burj Al Arab’s customer service is a sham

Burj Al Arab pretends to care, but it’s all for show. After I left a negative review, they rushed to post a sympathetic response on Trustpilot, asking me to contact them directly. This was clearly just to make themselves look good to other readers.

When I did exactly what they asked and followed up with them, they completely ignored me. No acknowledgement, no resolution, nothing. It proves their replies here are nothing more than a PR stunt.

This is not the behaviour of a world-class hotel – it’s deceptive and insulting. They don’t care about guests once the spotlight is off. If you have a genuine issue, don’t expect them to resolve it.

We recently stayed at the JBH Dubai and…

We recently stayed at the JBH Dubai and it was just the most amazing holiday ever. Everything is just perfect at the JBH and it’s definitely our favourite place to stay in Dubai.

From the minute you arrive it’s just beautiful and you are very much looked after- if you have the pleasure of meeting George at the front door then you won’t ever forget about him. He is such a lovely person!!

The rooms are beautiful and well cared for by the staff. We had Mozammael and Shanewas looking after us and always so attentive and making beautiful animal in our room for our son- he was delighted.

It was our anniversary while we were there and the poolside team gave us a lovely surprise- one for us never to forget! I will always cherish the memory. Every single person around the pool on each day were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to look after us- they will remain our forever friends.
If it wasn’t for the friendship we made in Moses who became our friend a few years back, the experience each day by the pool for us just wouldn’t be the same. He is such a great person and so good at his job.
He introduced us to all the team
Anwar, Foyez, Amber, George, Jowel, Maria who very much became our friends. We can’t thank you all enough!!
Both managers Jojee and Nikhil were outstanding and their kind words from their teammates was very touching and brought a tear to my eyes!! It was definitely hard leaving the JBH and such amazing people!

The kids club each day were super with our son, and helped him find friends that he will keep for life! He especially enjoyed the Sunday football at the beach!!
Thank you to Priyam & Suja and the lovely kids leader who helped them daily and he took them to the beach for football (sorry I missed your name).

The staff in the restaurants all around were very good at their jobs and the food is outstanding!
The main buffet is beautiful and the team there were again soooo special.
Saad was an amazing guy and Wesam but they really were all amazing!!! Thank you to you all.

I highly recommend the JBH the memories we have made there will last forever.

DO NOT VISIT

BOOK ELSEWHERE….

I am currently staying at Al Qasr, but an incident that took place at Jumeirah Beach Hotel on 18/08/25 at around 5 PM has left me shocked, upset, and questioning my loyalty to Jumeirah after more than 20 years as a guest and now a Gold member.

While at the JBH pool, I raised a small concern about the pool and asked to speak with the General Manager. A man named Faisal claimed to be the General Manager, but instead of handling the matter professionally, he became rude, dismissive, and verbally abusive. His tone, words, and facial expressions were completely inappropriate and intimidating. He even twisted our words and made comments that came across as abusive — behavior that is utterly unacceptable in any hotel, let alone from someone representing Jumeirah at management level.

This experience was not just disappointing — it was hurtful, especially after decades of loyalty. I have always spoken highly of Jumeirah and chosen to return year after year, but now my Gold membership feels meaningless when basic respect and guest care are no longer shown.

The pools at JBH are not well maintained, and there are already concerns of contamination. Instead of listening to a loyal guest’s concern, this so-called manager chose to escalate the situation with hostility.

I never expected to be treated like this at Jumeirah. I feel disrespected, undervalued, and let down. I truly hope senior management sees this and reaches out to me directly to make things right, because if this is the direction Jumeirah is heading, I will sadly take my loyalty elsewhere — to the Four Seasons or Royal Atlantis, where guests are valued and treated with dignity.

I have arriveMisleading Room Images & Information - Terrible Experience - Unprofessional Management & Poor Serviced today to check into this…

I have arrived today to check into this hotel and am extremely disappointed. The pictures provided do not reflect the room allocated in any way. The staff in the hotel have agreed that we have been misled when making the booking but refuse to give any refund.

I have paid a significant amount (£5,000 per night for three nights) to ensure I have Haram view, yet the room allocated is on a low floor and not at all as described. The staff confirmed that MyImage photos are used, which does not represent the room you get!

I have been waiting around for hours now for the issue to be resolved and the level of unprofessionalism I am receiving is appalling and unacceptable.

Nicht bezahlte Rechnung.

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

ich möchte Sie darauf aufmerksam machen, dass wir seit November 2024 auf die Zahlung einer offenen Rechnung von Jumeirah für eine bei uns durchgeführte Veranstaltung warten. Trotz mehrfacher Mahnungen und Kommunikation ist bis heute kein Zahlungseingang erfolgt.

Wir empfehlen daher, zukünftige Veranstaltungen für dieses Unternehmen mit Vorsicht zu behandeln oder auf eine Vorauszahlung zu bestehen, um ähnliche Situationen zu vermeiden.

Falls jemand bereits Erfahrungen mit ähnlichen Fällen gemacht hat oder eine Lösung sieht, freue ich mich über den Austausch.

My recent stay at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai was nothing short of spectacular, as always. As a regular visitor, I am continually impressed by the consistently high standards of service and hospitality at this luxurious beachfront property. During my stay in May 2024, several staff members truly stood out for their exceptional dedication and service, making our experience even more memorable.

Beach Service: Iman & Sopon

Iman and Sopon provided phenomenal service at the beach. Their attention to detail, quick response times, and warm, friendly demeanor made our beach days utterly relaxing and enjoyable. Whether it was setting up our loungers, ensuring we had fresh towels, or bringing refreshments, they were always one step ahead. Their ability to anticipate our needs and respond swiftly to any requests demonstrated a level of service excellence that truly sets the Jumeirah Beach Hotel apart.

Housekeeping: Shamir & Susila

Shamir and Susila, the housekeepers responsible for our room, went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable and delightful. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured that our room was immaculate every day. What stood out the most was their creativity and care in making towel animals each evening for our children. This thoughtful gesture brought so much joy to our kids and added a magical touch to our stay. Shamir and Susila’s commitment to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making us feel truly valued as guests.

Kids Club: Sukena

Most importantly, Sukena was absolutely phenomenal in taking care of our two children at the kids club. Her dedication, attentiveness, and genuine care made a significant impact on our family’s experience. She went above and beyond to ensure our children were happy, engaged, and safe. We were so impressed by her that we requested her for babysitting duties in the evenings as well. The children adored her, and her attentive and caring approach made both the kids and us, as parents, feel at ease. Sukena’s ability to cater to the needs of both parents and children with such grace and proficiency was truly remarkable.

Overall, the exceptional service provided by Iman, Sopon, Shamir, Susila, and Sukena significantly enhanced our stay at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Their dedication, professionalism, and personal touches exemplify the high standards of hospitality that this hotel is known for. We look forward to our next visit and the continued outstanding service that makes the Jumeirah Beach Hotel our preferred choice in Dubai.

Emile Mileham, explain why you do everything you do. Why do you regularly dismiss in-house security officers? Is it linked to your association with the Blink Agency? This agency provides low-quality services at excessively high prices, yet despite this, you insist on bringing as many people as you can from Blink Agency every day. What's the arrangement with Grant, the agency manager? How much does he pay you? Or are you engaging in an act of charity because Grant, like you, is from South Africa? Beside that, why do you treat your staff with disdain? To much rum too often? Or you believe yourself superior due to a higher income? How did you accumulate your wealth? Yes, we are aware of your substantial salary as the department head and yes, we are cognizant of your paid efforts to bring every day more and more people from Blink Agency. Additionally, I'm asking you to clearly explain the situation of lost and found items. Why aren't these items being return to their rightful owners or finders? Why do valuable items, especially jewellery and cash, misteriously vanish without a trace? Tell the truth Mileham, what do you do with them, do you take them home? If you claim innocence, provide documented evidence to support your position. Oh, there are not such documents? Mileham, the absence of such evidence raises questions. Mileham, why are you doing these? Are you facing financial difficulties? Aren't you concerned that one day your superiors from Dubai will discover the sources of your increased income? Have you considered the consequences? Some people already know what these consequences are, and you may soon find out as well.

Tea Lounge and Service Are Second To None - Carlton Tower Jumeirah, London

I decided to enjoy a cup of tea while waiting for my scheduled meeting. As it turned out, I arrived earlier than expected. The doormen welcomed me with friendly smiles as I entered. The lobby was pristine and radiantly clean, and the staff members I encountered were all cheerful. The Tea Room on the Lobby Level was bustling with in-house guests. Upon entering the tea room, I was greeted warmly and guided to a comfortable table. My simple order for tea turned into a delightful experience. Not only was I served tea, but I also received a remarkable display of courtesy: my coat was taken to the cloakroom, my umbrella was placed in the drying area, my low-battery mobile phone was offered charging, and I was even kindly asked, "May I pour your tea for you, ma'am?" This encounter was truly unforgettable.

When it was time to settle the bill, the attention to detail continued. I was asked if I'd like my mobile phone back from the charger, ensuring I had the option of using Apple Pay. This level of consideration from the three individuals who attended to my tea table left a lasting impression. I eagerly anticipate returning to Jumeirah for a complete Afternoon Tea Experience.

Serious payment issues

We've generally had good experiences with our many stays at Jumeirah hotels. However, on a recent holiday, a provisional charge was put on my card at the start of the stay. When I went to check out and pay the final bill, rather than take the initially held funds, they created a new charge. There were not sufficient funds in the account to pay and I ended up having to use another card and incur significant charges (£300+) as a result. The funds were then held in limbo for another 3 weeks. While I appreciate this latter issue may have been at the card issuer side, it could have been avoided by just taking the original charge. Reading other reviews here, I see this was not an isolated incident.
I incurred significant charges and was without £12k+ of my own funds for a month as a result of this. I would regard this as a serious failure by Jumeriah. I contacted the hotel regarding this (Zabeel Saraay), but received no reply to my complaint. Very disappointing.

Sylvester at Pool Bar & Beach Al Qasr

I spent some time last week at the Al Qasr hotel and it was a pleasant experience overall, but especially my time at the Pool Bar & Beach. I enjoyed the comfort of the beds, the sea, and the overall experience, however, I have to say that Sylvester made it that much more special and exceptional. He ensured any request I made was delivered on and with perfection.. His professionalism and gentle warm smile really made the whole experience memorable. Thank you Sylvester.
