Not interested in new business. Spoke to 2 different people got passed about. Sent numerous emails all of which were ignored. If you are not interested just say so.
From what I've seen on YouTube I would not deal with this company - the way they responded to a member of the public was disgusting.
When the managing director acts like a spoilt brat to a member of the public who is doing a perfectly legal activity, then you know how rubbish their service will be.
Tom Ellis, grow up.
Let me start by saying what a shame its not 100 stars because that is what I would give JT Ellis Ltd
What an absolutely fabulous company.I visited the showroom just to make sure I knew what I was getting, (i prefer to see not just order from a catalogue)
I ordered a kitchen and a bathroom
From ordering to delivery I was kept informed all along the way.A delivery date was set and it arrived a week early.
From that point on we fitted the kitchen ourselves,even when we weren't sure about fitting something we picked up the phone and the very helpful staff talked us through whatever we needed.
Everything fit a dream,all to plan.
I have to say one of the best kitchens and bathrooms I have seen on the market at this present moment in time.

I would definitely recommend JT Ellis to anyone wanting a new bathroom or kitchen.
We recently used Ellis for a kitchen in a renovation project. We used our own install team, as we’re aware they did not do this. They were extremely attentive through the design and delivery. The kitchen looks stunning, we are very happy!
The veneer (wrap?) on two kitchen unit doors began to bubble. The house is only 3 yrs old but the builders were not helpful. We instead contacted the kitchen suppliers, JT Ellis, who organised & delivered replacement doors without any hassle. Thank you, Kyle, for keeping us informed and for your efficiency in getting this sorted.
Very poor standard of work and furniture. Customer service is shocking. We have had a kitchen fitted that is well below standard. The fitting of the kitchen is very poor as well as the quality of the cupboards themselves. Do not use this company.
Like many others who have also purchased a new build with Avant Homes, the kitchen was poorly manufactured and fitted. There has been at least 10 snags on the kitchen alone and still growing by the day. It has been over 6 months and not a single snag issue has been addressed by Ellis. Not even a single courtesy visit from Ellis. Instead of me writing about it, you can find the photos I uploaded on their Google Business profile and review section.
I phoned them on the 27th October. It went straight to voicemail and I left a message with my name, plot number, the housing development and my contact details. Waited over a week and heard nothing back (that is until I left a bad review on their Google profile and they picked up on it). So why not leave another review on TrustPilot. It might just prompt them to do their jobs properly! But so far, still not a single snag has been fixed. It has been over a month since I last reached out.
They called me to arrange for a visit the following week. I took a day off work to stay home and wait for them. But they didn't bother specifying what time. Then it got to 2pm, still no sign of anyone from JT Ellis. I emailed them to ask when they will arrive. Got an email response saying they couldn't get a hold of their on-site staff. Then moments later they emailed me to tell me they will visit at 5PM onwards (they completely forgot about the appointment). I took a whole day off work and they could have visited anywhere between 8am to 5pm, but instead they decided to send someone at the end of the working day. Is this a joke??? I asked them to reschedule and the same thing happens. I'm currently sitting here in my house and it's almost 1pm. Emailed them for an approximate time for their visit and still no reply. Terrible customer service and even worse on-site staff management.
A bit of advice for new-build house owners. The most effective way to get your voice heard is not a TrustPilot review. It's your new-build NHBC survey. If you bought a new-build with a poorly fitted Ellis kitchen, then make sure you mark down your house builder. Your house builder hates suppliers that don't perform and will likely switch to a different kitchen supplier if they continue to drag down their NHBC ratings. This is very important for house builders.
EDIT: They eventually sent a kitchen fitter over at 5:20pm! Cheeky man turns up and said "it's within my working hours". Rightfully so! Doctors and nurses work way past midnight, but it doesn't mean it's convenient time for everyone, especially when it comes to menial snag fixes. What a miserable guy - JT Ellis must have some serious staff issues.
My supplier (apart from many other mistakes) managed to supply 3 odd handles for the bathroom cupboards, leaving the prospect of changing all the handles on all the doors in several bathrooms. The supplier said they never did the handles they supplied! and even when given a photo, said they do not have them, they say they sent it to JT Ellis but they could not help.
I wrote to JT Ellis myself, excellent service, they no longer do the handles but managed to find me three and sent to me the same day, why can all customer service not work like this?

Really poor service from Ellis in my new Avant home. Poor quality units with chips from all the door surfaces and height differences in units. 3 no show appointments from their fitter, site representative not interested in ordering additional units for us and doesn't respond. The best bit is when you submit a formal complaint to them in writing, they ignore it and stop responding to you. If you are buying from Avant or any other builder that uses Ellis, beware.
