On Monday I ordered some paving blocks online with the intention of collecting them from their Kettering depot, a 100 mile round trip, on the following Friday. Despite confirming the order, when I arrived they had mistakenly sold all of them to another customer the previous day. I spoke with the MD, Marcus Williams, who was very apologetic. To rectify the problem Marcus offered to deliver them to me in person the following Monday. He was good to his word and delivered the blocks as promised. Mistakes happen, but the difference between good customer service and bad, is the way the mistake is rectified and Marcus literally went 50 miles out of his way to fix it. Brilliant customer service is very rare these days, but Joseph Parr, and Marcus proved that it still exists in some businesses. Joseph Parr are a great company to deal with and I highly recommend them.

I made an order, and there were 3 pallets of blocks short. When I reported this, I was accused of being a thief and that I already had them delivered never shop there again

Just popped into Joseph Parr in Bradford, West Yorkshire this Saturday morning. Was served by James. I needed some timber with cuts.
He was very patient and helful. Managed to get it sorted. Also a big thank you to the lad who stayed behind after 11.30am closing time to finish off the timbers on the machine.

I have been down a number of times and their customer service is impressive together with their products at competitive prices. Keep it up.

I spoke to Paul @ Joseph Parr near Billingham today and he could not have been any more helpful ! He was polite and sorted a product and delivery within minutes. We are so grateful! THANK YOU so much . It is hard to sort things from many miles away to be delivered but he couldn’t have been more helpful !

Liverpool branch has great helpful staff, can't fault them. Good stock of building products and timber & cheaper than most other suppliers.

I had set up a cash account with another local builder's merchant, but happened to see a neighbour with a newly laid patio and an empty bulk bag with Joseph Parr's logo. I looked them up on Google and noticed that their prices were competitive. I took a drive over to the yard and had a look around. I did ask a few questions and thought I'd made my decision re paving and aggregate. Then a chap in a fluorescent jacket appeared and he asked if he could help or offer any advice. After 20 minutes or so of chatting and walking around the yard (extremely well stocked), I left with the knowledge that Joseph Parr were going to get my business. The chap I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable, not pushy and very approachable. His manner secured £1800 worth of trade. The communication I received during the purchase was exemplary and I was even telephoned to confirm delivery. The cherry on the top, was the delivery driver. Someone who has obviously been doing the job for a fair few years, has probably dealt with a huge variety of customers, but he couldn't have been more polite or helpful. He dropped almost 10 tonne of materials onto my drive and took special care with the high value and fragile components. Well done Team Joseph Parr, Simon and the HIAB driver. Its 5 stars from me!

rubbish!!! i worked in the Stockton branch for a while and can tell you to truth about this cowboy company stay away do not buy anything from this place the products and materials are very cheap and poor quality your purchased items are throw on the wagons for delivery with no care in the world...

i went to Bradford branch on 6.6.2022 round 9am to buy 2bags of sand and 1bags multi finish .The sales person back of the counter was great person friendly attitude but people at the warehouse was horrible rude. Never mind not responding my greeting but deliberately ignoring me by serving costumers who came after me and especially man with beard arrogantly serving his costumer friend who came as third person after me . I would not mind if they nicely ask for priority but they even had a big order .

Good range of stock and at a good price . Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who also arranged next day delivery .

New to the area, choose Joseph Parr to deliver and assist with the selection and choice of a new patio (Paved).
I chose Tegula Trio, and they provided assistance with the quantity requirement and delivered when I wanted the stuff delivered. At the end there were some damaged patio bricks and was pleased when their team arranged the pick up of the damaged goods and provided a credit, as no customer should pay for damaged goods.
Sean Borland, at their showroom near B & Q was particularly helpful.
I would recommend the company to anyone in the area seeking to undertake patio or garden landscaping projects
