There's much better out there avaliable for far cheaper

all in all this seems to be a giant marketing gimic. I bought the Joov Version 2 and it was extremely loud, noisy and had a very bad build quality akin to some £100 ali baba red light pannel only problem was i paid $1000 instead of £100 . Really not a great deal all in all felt like i'd been ripped off and scammed only bought it originally due to a Luke Story endorsement.

Less than 10 uses and full body size device kaput

I bought the full body size, VERY costly!! If i could give less than one star I would. I used this device less than 10 times, it isn't working, I sent in the video showing it not working, and now they want me to fill out a form to determine how to fix it and CHARGE me for the fix. No thanks, I'll throw this piece of junk away and find another red light company.

Full panel unit and no support

Bought a full panel device which was very costly. Joovv then decided to drop support for the device since they were now selling and updated unit. Existing clients were left without support and no suggestions of what to do. Very unfortunate when you consider the investment in their product.

Joovv does not stand behind their overpriced red light therapy devices, buyer beware.

I first heard about Joovv from PaleoMom ( Dr. Sarah Ballantyne), and I purchased a full body Joovv device less than 5 years ago at her suggestion. It arrived dinged up, and the company assured me that if the lights were turning on, it was fine. I could either accept a small refund (under $100), or repackage the huge and chunky machine and mail back for a new one. We had no way to repackage it, so I accepted the small refund.

Fast forward to this week. The device suddenly won't turn on. The 'on' button isn't sticking and only half the panels are turning on at all, and none of them at their usual brightness.

I emailed the company. A customer service rep named "Linus P" asked if I had bothered to plug in the device. Super helpful. I responded with a photo of what was happening and was told they no longer support this model. Instead, I was given a link to look at purchasing new devices and told there was a $50 promotion going on.

The cost of a comparable device that I purchased less than 5 years ago is now $2000 more expensive than what I paid. They refused to service my device, and they would not offer me any sort of discount to replace what I purchased from them.

Joovv claims their red light therapy devices to be of "medical grade" and "the best in the industry". Their customer service is terrible, and their very expensive devices should last longer than 4.5 years. To replace my red light machine, at the cost of $5600, knowing my last one didn't even make it to five years, is ludicrous. That's over 1k/a year for something that will just break on you.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of their product as well as their customer service.

There is no option for me to leave a review on their website sharing my experience, and Linus P declined to give me an appropriate link so that I can share my experience. They are trying to hide their shady practices. Buyer beware.

4/4 defective units!!! Awful quality; Unsafe; Zero customer support; Avoid at all costs!

I have now had all four of my Joovv Solo units break on me. Every time it's the green screen that goes 'pop', smoke is smelt and the unit no longer works. Surely this is unsafe!

I had the first unit replaced, with shipping at my expense, only to find the other three units developed the same problem. I spent many thousands on this product and now none of them work.

The Customer service is beyond awful; simply some of the worst I have ever had to deal with. Unhelpful, rude and unwilling to assist in any way except the boiler-plater response of 'submit a service ticket and pay for everything yourself.'

For four units to die on me like this clearly indicates extremely poor design and/or poor quality of parts.

Please save yourself thousands and do not buy anyhting from this scam company. Their marketing is amazing, their product is horrific.

This company is the worst

This company is the worst. They do not care at all about their customers despite what it says on their website. The On/off switch broke on my full size red light lamp. I contacted the company and told the only way for repair was to ship my entire large lamp at my own cost, pay for the repair, and then pay for the return shipping. Hundreds of dollars for a cheap on/off switch that popped off and of no fault of the customer. The other issue I had with this is that shipping the huge lamp back and forth is not only very costly, there is a big risk of damage in transit. The worst part was my interaction with the company - Stuart the Operations Manager. He was incredibly unhelpful, would not answer my question, and unwilling to problem solve or come up with a solution. I asked several times to speak to another person, but he refused.

Trying to charge shipping and won't honor original price that I paid for new order. Very unresponsive. shipped via UPS and…

The product shipped via UPS and required a signature. I was not home for the 1st attempt but waited for the scheduled delivery and it was never delivered. It shipped back to Joovv and UPS told me they don't charge to return to sender. Joovv is trying to charge me twice for shipping and will not honor the price I received for a new order. Horrible customer service.

JOOVV is a SCAM!!!

Joovv refused to allow an upgrade of product within 48 hours. They claimed the product had not shipped but refused to upgrade which was odd.

I saved the box and understood return policy so I saved the packaging. I was super careful with the product while trying it out for the 60 days.

Rarely used and it sat on the same desk during use. Never moved it much before repackaging. Paid $120 to return ship with insurance.

They sent me photos saying it was scratched. They must keep stock photos to email. They are NOT accurate. They refuse a full refund. The stand was $175. They likely charge this for the stand often and them use the photos to keep your money.

They give me the option to pay for shipping again to get the stand back. Why would I want a stand for a light I don't have. Silly but almost want to pay for shipping so they can't reuse the stand to send out to someone else.

This company is a scam. There are better red lights available. Joovv is overpriced with a horrible customer service policy.

Avoid Joovv!!!

Worst customer service as other…

Worst customer service as other reviewers share. The devices break nonstop and it’s $300 a pop to ship and fix each time. They will blow you off with any complaint and delete all negative reviews from any platform. A group of us are going to BBB next and all influencer platforms since Joovv never tried to make it right and we have proof they delete all negative comments.

Antagonistic support staff

After suffering through the poor assembly instructions, I neared completion - only to find that the main power cords were not included. When I emailed my concern the staff emailed back " I was wrong , that there must be 4 main power cords." Of course , my helper and I tore through all the boxes a 3rd time to no avail. They refuse to send me my power cords despite cashing my $7,000 dollar purchase.
I've asked 3 times, but only get a belligerent response.
What ever happened to customer service ???

Broken lights 3 times and make customer…

Broken lights 3 times and make customer pay $300 in fees for each panel to be fixed each time. Also, the flickering causes health issues. Never again. Stuart has been so useless and the customer care is a nightmare. There are way better quality lights I’ve now discovered and I’m selling mine.

Terrible Customer Support (guy named Linus)

Customer Support Supervisor (guy named Linus) is terrible. I sent him a video of a strange sound the machine had begun to make, and his reply was that he'd never encountered that problem before (that was how he had come across), so I sent it in to have it inspected (something like $35 for insured shipping).

They eventually decide to send it back, saying there was nothing wrong with it, and that because there had been nothing wrong with it, it didn't qualify as a warranty claim, and that I would have to pay for the return shipping (about $25).

When I get it back, it's still making the same noises, so Linus says, "yeah that's normal for it to make those sounds as it ages".

So, I wasted $60 (I don't have to spare) for NOTHING, and he insists it was my fault, essentially refusing to pay me back the money i wouldn't have spent had he not sent me the wrong message--and he claims he is the supervisor, so basically there's no one to appeal to.

Horrendous and rude customer service

Horrendous and rude customer service. I’m trying to organise a return (within the window) of an item I’ve been having consistent issues with. They’ve made me feel as though I’m the one at fault.

In our last exchange when I asked for what fee range I’d the charged for missing the plastic wrapping (yes, really!) to return the item, they refused to tell me and this was their reply:

Hi Jody,

I mentioned a small fee in my previous reply. We will need to receive your return before providing a quote. I am Joovv’s Customer Communications Manager and Supervisor of returns. This will be my last reply.

There has been a whole chain of emails today of a similar tone and rudeness, when I’m just trying to find out what they’re going to charge me (in addition to the $50 re-stock fee!) for a return and why this is their “standard” for a FAULTY item.

Vile, vile group of greedy people! Buy from PlatinumLED instead. I have one of their products already and it’s amazing, great customer service. I should never have strayed.

Joovv is a pretty lame company when it comes Customer service. package was lost by FedEx Delivered to the wrong address to the exact allJoovv had to do Let’s file a claim with FedEx and they would reimburse and buy me a new one and Joovv treated me like a criminal and acted like I was trying to pull off the crime of the Century with there stupid little $600 light . I’m sure their product is fine but the people behind the product are not fine I would think twice before buying from this company I really was treated like a piece of garbage.just check bbb

Please do not purchase Joovv products

Please do not purchase their product find a different product. The customer experience is deplorable. They don't have live customer service either. Their behavior is extremely greedy and blame directly on the customer every question that you bring. You have to pay shipping for returns or any service you need on the consoles. I sent back the units and put insurance in two out of the three boxes. They came back to me saying that the only box that had not insurance the parts were broken. Sent me pictures of scratches that did not occur in the parts I sent. Without hesitation or shame they stole and refused to refund for the parts. They act as scammers. Read the reviews or other users before deciding to pursue a purchase with them.

We ordered the Joovv Solo 3

We ordered the Joovv Solo 3. After receiving device, we were unable to get to start. The panel was not working, product arrived defective. The site has not contact number, the only way to contact company is via email, which is very frustrating considering the amount of money spent. We decided to return the Joovv Solo 3 due to the fact that we couldn't get it to work and the company had the nerve to not reimburse us the shipping fee when they had in fact sent us a device that DID NOT WORK.

Poor Performance and Poor Customer Service

Our eight joovv solo units costing over $8,000 total and have never worked correctly. We sent the original units back and they sent eight new units and those have also never worked correctly. Either we received repeat lemons or they have systemic reliability issues with their product. We figured out how to partially make them work with only two of eight light panels turning off during routine client sessions. Then, after a few years, the panels all started to die, the lights went out completely and never returned. We contacted joovv and were less than pleased with their customer service. They do not even have a customer service number. There is no way to talk with a human on the phone no matter how hard you try to work with them. They will only respond with email. It costs $75 in postage to send one unit back for maintenance and then you have to pay the maintenance costs on top of that. If joovv were to share their shipping rates with their clients providing pre-printed return labels that the client could pay for, it would only cost $30 per unit in postage, but joovv refuses to share their discounted shipping prices with their clients. Their troubleshooting team has not been helpful in any way. They try to help, but are not knowledgeable and their only suggestion is to send the unit in for them to look at it. I have figured out on my own how to solve some of the problems. I am not the kind of person that typically writes negative reviews, but I felt like it was really important for potential buyers to understand what type of equipment performance to expect and what type of support to expect once they receive their devices.

DO NOT BUY THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT!

I stupidly purchased the Joovv Solo,$1,299. 57 on June 13, 2020. Today, October 29, 2021 it no longer works.
That is 1 year and 4 months and two weeks!

This truly is a piece of JUNK!

By the way, the so called warranty? You have to pay for shipping to them as well as for them sending it back once it is repaired! The light weighs 14 pounds so shipping is quite expensive. The Company claims that since you got free shipping when you ordered it, you have to pay for the shipping when this piece of junk no longer works!

They don't have live customer service either - it tells me they know the product is junk and they don't want to deal with people who will be upset they have been taken!

By the way, the current Joovv Solo Model costs
$1,455.00 - ON SALE!
