Quoted free with storage unit deal but told on the day staircase charge per staircase, I'd mentioned lift may be out of order a week ahead but no costs mentioned upfront even though I'd asked if stairs would increase quote cost told "it's fine". Would also have been useful to know they'd smashed through one of the removal boxes, the cost of the one box which was stored so not seen damaged on its side, unless you pulled it out of the stack, £4.50 deducted but as I can only buy them I packs of 10, Space Station equivalent box £6.. The few quid deducted coupled with the high train fare and 3 buses to travel back not worth the inconvenience, Let alone damage to items in the box. Was hounded to sign the form right after removal, then after drop off called 3/4 times on my way to the unit, barely few minutes to inspect the items and was on several buses so took time getting to the unit. Would not be using them again only due to damage and even though staircase charge halved it should have been waived especially as they were late, wasn't worth the expensive box damages, car park charge and staircase sprung on the day charge, how much was asked before job undertaken week before and again just before they started but only told me after they'd moved the items, had no choice on charges, damage or way it was packed in the unit it took up 1/3 more space which costs more, had to take everything out to repack it, few items had signs to store which way up, these all ignored with TV placed upside down. Friendly bunch but disappointed with additional costs given the service.

First contact onwards was extremely approachable, professional and reassuring. Kate assessed the practicalities and provided a competitive quote. She was most accommodating when we had to re-arrange dates. Boxes, paper/bubble wrap and pens were prior delivered by Mark giving us plenty of time to pack, and gave him an opportunity to assess any potential difficulties. Kate's hint on using our own towels etc for extra padding on fragile objects proved invaluable. Turned up on time and were quick to pack everything and were careful not to damage infrastructure nor furniture/goods. The three man team worked together well, polite and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Everything placed where we wanted including garden plant pots. They were fantastic and made an anxious time fraught free and almost pleasurable! No hesitation in recommending Jones Removals Services - a great family business.

Kate was very helpful over the phone. It was Gav and Josh who helped us handle the move. We needed our belongings picking up from two addresses and moving into our new home, with certain items also needing reassembling. They were both great - very professional and friendly too. Would definitely recommend!

We had 72 hours to arrange our removal, or the property chain would have collapsed. We had no previous contact with Jones Services, from the first telephone conversation to the last box arriving at our new home, we felt very assured that the company was exceptional. We have used many removal companies in the past, but have never seen such care and efficiency. Our home was arranged exactly as we hoped, given the difficult access to the property for bulky items. Kate & Mark completely reassured us at every point of contact. No hesitation in recommending them.

Now we all know that moving house is right up there in the top 5 of most stressful experiences. Add to that a long distance relocation and the stress is even greater. All I can say about Mark and Kate is that they make the physical move of furniture and effects really smooth. Not only that but Kate was always happy to help with advice and she more than once was the calm voice to help cool my paranoia that everything was going to go wrong. She was right and I,thankfully was wrong. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough.

I would highly recommend Jones services- Removal and storage. They totally took the stress out of a very stressful day for us, boxes were provided as requested, they arrived on time at short notice and quickly arranged another van when we were let down. Mark’s team were professional and polite ,hard working certainly didn’t mess about we were packed and moved swiftly, they used specialist packaging for our more delicate/precious items.
Mark then came to collect the boxes back after we had unpacked at our leisure,no rush . What’s more we were very pleased with the invoice too as moving is an expensive thing.
Five stars isn’t enough for this firm I would recommend them to anyone…. Thanks Jones services for all your help!

This is the second time I've used the company due to the great service I had first time around. They took good care of all my belongings, wrapping sofa, fridge, mattress and so on in quilted bags. They are friendly, happy workers who get on with the job. Unloading, they placed each item precisely where required. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

Where is the 100 Star button, Wow, what a great company, from the first visit off Kate to the guys arriving this morning it has been an absolute dream to move house. The team arrived and just got straight to work, before we knew it, boom the house was emptied and the vans were loaded. Then to the new house, the team were so careful loading and unloading they were super helpful and placed everything exactly where we needed it. They weren't our first company (Only because our estate agent referred us to another) but thank god they couldn't move us, we would have missed out on Jones Services and that is something no one thinking of moving should miss out on.
