The International Society of Female Professionals helps women to overcome traditional barriers to successful careers. The society was newly minted in August 2019 in New York City with the mission of being the nation’s premier advocate for professional women of all walks of life and in virtually any professional field of endeavor. Despite women being about equal in number to males worldwide, there are far fewer in the professional world. There are fewer women doctors, lawyers, and other professional fields. There are fewer women executives and business owners despite many examples of prior success. Women have proven they are equally capable of excelling and leading in professional fields, executive roles, and entrepreneurship. Yet, our opportunities remain far fewer than those of our male counterparts. We aim to change that. The International Society for Female Professionals is a global advocate for professional women and actively promotes female advancement at the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial levels. We create a beneficial network that helps to encourage additional investment in the many excellent skills and leadership abilities that women possess but often go overlooked. Our sole purpose is to tear down the commonly encountered barriers that professional women face. Those barriers include lower pay, the proverbial glass ceiling, and fewer opportunities for advancement than our male counterparts. Instead of accepting invisible barriers to success, we work to remove those obstacles and forge new inroads for success. The International Society for Female Professionals creates a community of skilled and talented professional women who have widely varied career goals but share virtually the same obstacles toward success. We are growing our global network of exceptionally experienced, talented, and accomplished women to help support one another while we continue to grow at the national and international levels. Our membership includes licensed professionals, entrepreneurs, and business executives who recognize and have overcome the many challenges women face in a male-dominant professional world. We help women to make new connections and forge new inroads into professions and business opportunities for women. The society always accepts new members while expanding our scope and reaching the global level. We are active locally, nationally, and regionally in helping encourage women to become professionals, find new enterprises, and provide guidance at the executive level. Membership never is passive. We only accept women who are prepared to participate and be global and local ambassadors of female excellence while setting exemplary examples of professionalism and performance for others to follow. The International Society of Female Professionals is one of the newest women’s advocacy groups and immediately faced the challenge of a global pandemic shortly after its founding. Our leaders and members persevered and enabled the society to emerge as a strong force poised to help professional women, entrepreneurs, and executives. We strive to ensure future generations of women leaders enjoy more freedom and greater opportunities for success in the professional, executive, and entrepreneurial world. You can learn more about our advocacy by visiting our website at www.theisfp.com. We also maintain a social media presence on Twitter and Facebook. The society’s efforts go beyond the professional realm. We also help women to better succeed in their personal lives. We help provide you with the tools necessary for success, including the challenges encountered when obtaining an education, professional licensing, and founding new business entities. The International Society of Female Professionals helps to empower women to become strong leaders and advocates who make significant differences in their respective fields of endeavor. We are a global organization based in New York City and are accepting new members. Membership in the society is not a passive task. Instead, we expect our members to proactively promote women’s issues in the professional realm and become true advocates for their fellow female professionals. Women are marginalized in societies worldwide, and we intend to change that as much as possible. You can learn more about the International Society of Female Professionals and how it might help you by calling (718) 440-9304. We are located in New York City at 77 Water St., 8th Floor, 10005. Our mission has just begun and never will stop, and we invite you to become a part of our vital mission on behalf of professional women around the globe. You can contact us to learn more about our membership requirements and our mission to promote women’s excellence and leadership at virtually all levels. If you are in New York City, you can stop by our global headquarters and get a firsthand look at all that we do. We employ about 60 people who help fulfill our mission and expand our vision for more significant opportunities and participation among women with the unique talents and skills needed to ensure success.

STOP -ISFP -SCAM-Company does not exist

STOP! These people that aggressively chase you are criminals and the ISFP is a big SCAM and does not exist. I was a victim of their criminal acts -$600 worth. I read all the other reviews from professional women that were victims on the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Once I learned that there is no company location and the company phone number no longer works I immediately contacted my credit card and filed a dispute to get the charges removed/reimbursed. I will be posting a review on BBB. This is a huge assault on professional women. God help us all in the day and age of SCAMERS

SCAM from the beginning to the end. Beware

Don't even think about giving your credit card information to this organization. They contacted me but I was in a meeting so I asked them to call me back later which they did so I picked up the phone.
In the middle of the interview I said: wait, what is this all about? the answer was: you applied for a position here. Ever since I've been applying for jobs like crazy for the last month, I've been like: ok.
At the end he presented me with his subscription plans but I was like: send me the information to my email so I can see better and he said: oh, we don't work that way, you have to tell me which plan you want to sign up for. At that moment all the red flags were activated. That's where I said: I'm a student, I'm unemployed right now, so there's no income to pay for this. She basically said have a nice day and hung up the phone hahahahahahaha. Please be AWARE

SCAM

SCAM - I clicked on the link on Facebook for ISOFP and they started calling me relentlessly. I see now why. They want a credit card number. I went back to FB to check them out and the entire group page had disappeared. They will approve your membership in the international society of female professionals if you tell them, you are a female mob boss. They want 199 or 299 and if you decline it goes down to $99 trial. They call from a computer generated number and ask you to call back on 718-440-9304 to pay if you tell them you dont have the money immediately.
My name is Marissa not Maurice. Im using my husband profile to share my story. DONT DO IT OR U WILL REGRET IT.

ISFP - LinkedIn should stop

I saw their LinkedIn ad or post. Clicked to join having NO clue it was a paid membership rather than an online networking group. As other women have noted, they interview you, assess you as a successful professional based on what you tell them and tell you you are approved to be a member. Their screening process/interview is entertaining... they are polite etc... but the amount they incrementally decrease the fee as you hesitate is a clear WARNING sign. LinkedIn should stop taking their ads or whatever they are.

They promote themselves on Linkedin

Just to let you know: I have informed the Internet Crime Complaint Center about this guys. Ladies, watch out-they are on Linkedin promoting themselves! This is how I got into the trap. Thx to reading some books about scams I did not give in my private information.

confirmed scam

They let me go the first day of alone working after "training" because I asked why weren't the clients getting any information by their request or an email if they will be giving their credit cards and money. a respected company will care for their client and inform them and cared for their business. this company's "membership" is a one time deal, either you pay or I hang up, most like a scam. manager Cindy fire me because she says I was off the phones too long . when I was typing the message to her asking her the above question. she confirmed my suspicions by letting me go after I question their procedure. did not get pay for my time lost because she wanted my information. the information she did not take at the beginning of employment like any other job would. but thankfully I get to protect my personal info from this scammer. hope all those other women training with me are fine. and those professional women that I got to call continue to be in the look out. I was definitely looking out for my people because one thing my momma taught me was to do the right thing always.

THIS IS INDEED A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY!

THIS IS A SCAM! I clicked a button on linkedin to join an International Society of Female Professionals thinking it was just a networking group. A few days later I got a call from a very nice lady in New York, who introduced herself and explained she wanted to know my career background. I was asked questions like, 'how did you get to where you are today?', 'what was your biggest challenge in your career?', 'what qualifications do you have, BA, BSc, MA etc' this was a full blown interview! After 20minutes I was told that she considered me an 'accomplished woman in her career and a valuble mentor to the ISFP' and therefore have gained entry into the society. This was shortly followed by a run through of what my ISFP 'title' should be and breakdown of membership 'fees' which I had no idea about. A 'lifetime' fee and an 'annual' fee, both totalling to £300/£200! I was totally shocked by this and didn't like this. I didn't understand why I would be paying to be a 'mentor' and to be part of a virtual social group. I explained I wouldn't be able to pay that kind of money at present and was given a number '17184409304' to call back on when I did have the money! And that she would follow up our call with an email. I never got the email which is when I started digging around on the internet on the authenticity of this 'Society' and found many pages like this one.

30mins of my working day was wasted on this call and I think sadly there are women out there that probably suspect this isn't quite right but hand over their money as the lady on the phone is so persuasive and nice! TOTAL CON :(

Echoing everyone else

Echoing everyone else, this is a scam. It sounds lovely on paper, but then you talk to a woman who is clearly reading from a poor script. When she asked for payment information, I mentioned I didn’t have my card on me but she said she’d hold while I looked because “it’s so hard for them to make outgoing calls due to the volume.” I immediately googled them and found this thread. Total scam.

SCAM - Do not fall for it

Called me incessantly from a New York based number, this woman named Lottie Dolemay(?) was very friendly at first, saying she'd "recognise my talent" and "was amazed at my business project"... Of course at the end, it came time to pay - NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO AWAY - as soon as I asked if they worked with PayPal (a great way to detect fakes) and said I needed to talk to my business partner, she probably knew I had realized it was a scam and let me hang up... Be careful out there people.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Came across ISFP on LinkedIn and filled out a form that was supposed to "tell me more information." What resulted was a relentless series of phone calls and text message. In 48 hours I received over 15 calls from this organization hounding me to join. On the first call I explained I was about to walk into a meeting and gave them a specific time to call me back at. Less than 30 minutes later they called again. This was the first red flag. I started blocking the numbers but each time it was a different NY area code calling me. I googled the organization and was horrified to read the reviews. This appears to be a scam that charges people hundreds of dollars for "membership" but doesn't appear to offer any real benefit. I've asked to be removed from their caller list multiple times now and am still being contacted. Do not give them your phone number or money - they will not stop trying to contact you or charge you!

This organization is insane

I just got over 10 calls from various NY numbers and then someone left a voicemail with a person crying in the background. When I called the number back a few times (they tell you to press 1 to talk to a person), the person hung up on me over 5 times. Thank goodness I looked them up and saw these reviews.

Horrible Predatory FRAUD

Horrible, dishonest and fraudulent. When will someone, anyone, shut down this fake organization?

I reported to the FTC: reportfraud site

They charged my card without authorization or approval for almost $1,000.

Please, if you can, report through FTC as well.

I’m in the same boat as everyone else…

I’m in the same boat as everyone else here, I signed up after my telephone interview back on July 3rd. I didn’t receive anything from them except my email reciep immediately. When I did receive my details to log into the portal, it was the day before my cancellation period was due (14days after payment). I sent an email asking if this was all they offered (a database of everyone whose been scammed, in my eyes). By the time I received a response, it was too late to cancel. Complete scam indeed. I’d literally just joined LinkedIn and trusted this company as they were suggested to me via my profile. It really saddens me to see this is still happening to people.

Avoid at all costs

If I could give no stars I would! Like many on here, I responded to an ad on LinkedIn. I was called by a young lady in NY, interviewed, told I had been accepted and asked for my credit card details to pay a one-time membership fee of $199. My higher judgement told me to ask for written details and think about it but I went ahead anyway. I felt sorry for this young lady as I could hear her baby in the background. I thought here's someone trying to cope with being a new mum and doing (what seems to me) a very difficult job in lockdown. Anyway, I paid and received a welcome email immediately. So far, so good.

I got busy and did nothing with the membership for a couple of months. Then I got a call from another woman in NY. I thought perhaps they were calling to say that as I'd done nothing with the membership, could they help me make the most of it in some way. However, this time it was a bullying older woman. She instructed me that it was "time for my press release to be made up and sent out". She said that it would be written inhouse with my input and sent out to all the search engines and that it would get me to the number one spot in all searches for my area. I work in marketing so I knew immediately she'd no idea what she was talking about. She then said $330 would be taken from the credit card they have on file for me the next day. I said "hang on, I don't agree to that" and she'd already hung up. I immediately emailed to say NOT to go ahead with the press release and NOT to take the payment. They had already done so! They point blank refused to return the money.

I had to cancel my credit card and order a new one and go through a dispute process with the bank. Result: I got the $330 back but I am still out the membership fee.

Anyway, being as they refused to cancel my membership, I am still a member and so I logged in and updated my profile. I changed my name to Daffy Duck and uploaded an image of a rubber duck, lol!!!!

Do not join this organization

Joined and paid "Lifetime" membership. Received repeated calls on my cell phone from a very rude woman who was calling to discuss my press release, which of course came with additional fees. I told her I wasn't interested then noticed two charges for $39.99 on my account for the last two months. Reached out a week ago and have not received any response so disputed charges with my bank. I wish I'd done this research before joining this bogus organization.
