The quality of the bike fell short of expectations, considering it was advertised as having been through extensive checks in the Approved category. Credit due for replacing the clutch (once my local dealer diagnosed it as faulty), and delivery from Aberdeen to Wariwck was impressive. A few minor issues were not resolved. Communications with the sales team pre and post sale were poor, including obtaining key documentation.

Visited John Clark Aberdeen on Sunday 6th Sept just for a look around. Ended up test driving a very nice car at a reasonable price. When it came to the valuation of my car as a trade in, the salesman after speaking with his boss, came back with a very low valuation. When I questioned this it became clear they had simply went onto ‘webuyanycar’ and got a value from there which was way off the mark. The salesman actually mentioned that website and how they got the valuation.
Be very wary of what they offer you as a trade in value. The fact BMW are using auction sites to make a valuation is pretty lazy and not something I’m prepared to accept. I declined their offer. Other than that the experience was fine from a customer service perspective.

Jim made the whole experience extremely easy, I was kept updated from start to finish about my bike order and the handover was great, couldn’t ask for a better service

Looking to upgrade to a new motorcycle I popped into the Dundee dealership to discuss trade in and purchase options with Jim McGouldrick (actually based out of Aberdeen but covering Dundee branch that day). Within an hour we agreed trade-in and sale of a new BMW R1300GS. From that point Jim kept me informed regularly with updates on delivery status and, in just under two weeks, the bike was delivered to my home. Got to be one of the most pleasurable and straightforward buying experiences I've had (and there's been a few over the years). Many thanks Jim!

Overall satisfied with my car and sales

This was my third motorcycle from this dealership,
the service is always top notch. I traded in my 1250gs and was offered a good price. The whole deal was done via email and phone as the dealership is a few hours drive from my house. Motorcycle delivered on the day promised and all went very smoothly. The delivery itself was very professional and the driver was very helpful. This is the only dealership i would ever look to deal with. Big thanks to Jim Mcgouldrick for sorting everything out. See you in a few years for the next one!

Excellent communication, and service from start to finish, would highly recommend

Nice bike, great price, but rubbish follow up. The bike was delivered, supposedly clean. It was filthy. Conversation was difficult to establish with the salesperson. Eventually he agreed to have the bike valeted and paint protected as compensation. He would "be in touch", and never has been again. I've messaged the company, and his Sales Manager, to no avail. I buy lots of BMWs, usually new. I won't now buy from John Clark.

Car collected on time as promised
Serviced, cleaned and returned by mid afternoon. Comprehensive report on future requirements- a/c refresh, brake fluid, tyre condition etc.etc. Very satisfied with whole process.

I’ve purchased three BMW motorcycles from Simon at BMW Motorrad Aberdeen. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for absolutely top notch service. All three purchases were problem free with a very fast turnaround. I just want to mention Ian who delivered the bikes to Lancashire; his service was impeccable and a lovely man to boot.
