Though the installation was delayed by a day, we were kept informed and once work had started, it was completed quickly and efficiently and neatly, given the difficult layout of my property. my only issue is that I don't know if I should have received any paperwork/instructions on how to manage the equipment and, certificates needed to show my current provider when feeding back to the grid. But overall, I am very happy with what has been done.
Bad service and dont care
IntuEco installed window vents and extraction fans in our property
The window vents they installed are awful. Some dont even close properly and they let a draft in the house now even when closed. They have used the most tacky vents which were installed very quickly and dont work at all.
Despite telling them not to in stall a extraction fan in the bathroom as we have just had a new bathroom they went ahead and did it disconnecting our new extraction fan and connecting it to one they installed.
I have now called them on numerous times and get told someone will call back and they never have. They simply dont care they have their money now and so it is no longer their problem.
Be very careful using this company they will do a quick job and wont even address any issues you have afterwards.

IntuECO - Not a scam, lovely people, but could use better planning...
IntuECO knocked on our door in December to tell us that we are eligible for the Warmer Home Scheme. We were sceptical at first but after some looking into it we decided to go ahead as we had lots of issues with damp in our 1930's built home.
A few weeks after agreeing to have the work done, we had a surveyor over to take pictures, measurements, and to check trickle vents etc. This took about 45 mins, and he arrived a little earlier than expected.
They told us it would take around 6 weeks for the work to be scheduled, but we were contacted after just a week to book the best time for us. We were able to be booked in for a couple of weeks later (early February).
The first part of the project to be completed was the loft insulation fitting. Claire and Luke were absolute stars and emptied the 25 years of clutter from our loft - even though they weren't made aware ahead of time that they would be doing so! Once it was all out of the loft, they got to work putting down new lagging, then fit stilts and boarding. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help us with an otherwise very daunting job that has been literally held over ours heads for years.
At the same time as the loft work being carried out, we had another member of intuECO fit new vents in our bedroom windows and proper extractor fans in our bathrooms.
They kept our home as clean as they could, considering the amount of dust that had collected up there over the years, as well as tidy up any other inevitable messes that had come out of doing such a job. Claire and Luke also helped take anything I wanted to keep back up into the loft, but I did use the opportunity to get rid of most of it.
Once this had been completed, the next stage was to have scaffolding put up for the solar panel installation. The contractors that came round to put up the scaffolding were lovely, and a great choice made by intuECO.
Then came the Solar Panel Installation. This had a couple of bumps in the road - very frustrating bumps, in fact. But, it was all free and in the end the job was done, so how much can I really complain?
The first day the solar panels were due to be fitted, Platinum Renewables showed up and unloaded the panels from their van to set by the front of the house. About an hour after their arrival, I want out to offer them a cup of tea and found they had left.
The electrician who had been paired with the installation team said, "they've gone, didn't they tell you?" No. No, they did not. The reason they had left was that they had the wrong fittings for our roof. The electrician stayed to do what he could, but obviously couldn't finish the job entirely due to there being no solar panels on the roof to connect to.
They rescheduled for Thursday (two days later). No work was done that day, either. They had the wrong bolts. But, they said they would be back the next day.
They weren't.
After calling intuECO to find out where they were, we were told one of them had gone home sick earlier that day. We rescheduled for the following Tuesday.
Thankfully, on Tuesday they started the work. They were working from 12 till around 7:30pm, but had to come back the next morning to finish the two hour job as our roof tiles (original to the home) were too fragile to drill through and were crumbling. They replaced the ones they would need to drill through with new tiles (which is perfectly okay, we didn't have any issue with that!).
So, by mid-morning on Wednesday, a little over a week after the two hour job began, we had our solar panels fitted, as well as the pigeon mesh we requested installed.
On Thursday, the electrician returned to finish his part of the job... but the box that had been fitted was faulty. Just our luck I suppose! He came back first thing on Monday morning with a working box, however.
To be clear, all of the workers that came to our home were lovely and friendly and as far as we are aware did everything they could with what they were provided (be that information or the proper equipment). From what I can only assume, intuECO were great, but the contracted company that fits the solar panels may need some better management...
Overall, if you get a cold caller coming to your door from intuECO - go for it! It was a bit of a headache in our case, but it is by no means a scam! At the end of the day, it's free and should help us out in the long run.

Had loft insulated, new radiator valves and hive thermostat. First class friendly communications and arrived at promised time and did a first class job , even showed me photographs of the completed job in the loft. Very pleased.

I would, based on my experience recommend this company to anyone.

Loft insulation project
All the staff were polite and friendly, arrived on time and worked solidly.. They kept us informed through the job as to what they were doing.
Apparently our loft space is very low which made working conditions difficult for laying the insulation , but Luke and Ryan worked very hard to complete the job.

The customer experience journey has been horrendous
Managed to instruct my own contractors to deep clean, paint and plaster the damaged room which turned into rooms based on health and safety grounds.
The bill to the company so far is £1600 and could potentially increase.
Waiting for the company to pay for the cheap correction work i organised as being left in a plaster filled bedroom for around a month. Emergency medical care said move out or get someone to clean it asap. It got done cheap for the company on mates rates, would of been way above £2000 not using my own people.
Christmas will go ahead in our home now, not in a hotel 🙄
Absolutely disgraceful, the communication has been beyond a joke. Not what you expect as a customer.
I would of left several 5 star reviews throughout the customer journey, honest customer feedback.
Will start to feel better about it when paid the money owed for the agreed work at my home.
Cheap contractors bring problems...had no issues at all with the ones I know at mate rate prices to help me out!

I would have thought it would be a matter of urgency for the company due to the state it has been left in. Please make contact ASAP. Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service, installers were really nice and polite, was informed of all the work taking place at my property by the booking team. Just want to say thank you for the hard work and politeness
They have zero tolerance with people…
They have zero tolerance with people who are not clever with technology.
I still have leaking radiator and this work has been going on since September and is still not completed properly. Now time for further action. Have been trying to contact the complaint department wher no one answers. Dreadful company communications.

Poor after sales customer service
All went well with the install, however, 4 & a half months after the install of the bathroom extractor fans, one stopped working. Phoned to report the issue & was told either they or the electrician would contact me. After over 2 weeks nobody had been in touch so called again & was told they would get back to me. On this occasion they did but advised me that it was up to me to sort & pay for the issue as they do not send anyone out for repairs after 3 months. Very poor after sales service!

We would like to take this opportunity to rate IntuEco from Leon calling at the house to say we were eligible, to the loft installation, trickle vents, extraction fans and new boiler installations. Everyone was very pleasant, but we did have a issue with the loft installers in our extension. The installer didn't want to climb through although many other work people we have had done, they did. We sought advice from Wayne, who called to see us, one Sunday evening. And after Wayne's visit, the installer came back and completed. Next was the ventilation and trickle vent installer. They were unaware we had brown windows and fitted white trickle vents, again a call to IntuEco and this time it was Jamie, who messaged installer and they came back and rectify them. Finally the boiler team we had a lot of uncertainty with this because of where they were going to put it due to our house having since the original boiler was fitted we had extended. We voiced our concerns again to Jamie, who requested that a team from UK Energy came to discuss with us the positions and new pipework. A team came late one evening and a plan was put in place. Unfortunately that team didn't come. So after discussion with new team, it all went ahead. And although the initial clean up downstairs was good, we did go into the loft and the boiler team had disconnected the pipes from the water tank, but they left the old pipework all over the new loft installation and some of the installation chucked all over the place and water was still in the tank. A few days later the flue had to be change into a new position. All in all, IntuEco, especially Jamie was very good and approachable, but we would have to say the sub contractors they use, need to understand the householders needs more. So our advise to householders is just keep asking questions and voice concerns.

We are so Impressed with the excellent service we have received from IntuECO Ltd. From start to finish they have been excellent. Owen Oxley saw as he was passing our house we had a over 20 year Old Boiler. We never get sucked in by doorstep advice but Owen knew what he was talking about an sorted us from start to finish !! We certainly recommend this company especially Owen we are well impressed, we would have never thought we would be eligible for a free Boiler an having our loft re insulated! But thanks to Owen he sussed my husband having Asthma made us Eligible . We are so gratefull as we have had Excellent Service Brilliant new Combi Boiler new settings on our radiaters & loft insulation all FREE !!!
