I am very pleased with the services provided by Jenny and John. Jenny was very professional, always available when needed, and doing the best she could to be of assistance. John also made himself available, was patient with my calls and questions, and doing what he could to ensure that I am offered good quality service.In the end, all arrived in good condition.

Avoid these movers, they hike the price

*** In response to the companies reply below ***

As stated we did have some new furniture items but they were ALL flat pack items. The additional items beyond that were boxes. The companies claim is that we went from 60-100 items and our cubic feet went up by almost 3x.

As I said originally, they did not complete proper packaging or disassembly in order to maximise space and expanded the number of items by listing the components of some items.

Avoid these movers, the cost of our shipment was inflated almost 3x the quoted price.

When we initially contracted these movers we were told basic disassembly would be included in the move. However many of the items taken were not disassembled leaving them bulkier. Many boxes were also packed with empty space in them where more stuff could have fitted inside.

When we were told our total volume it was 3x what the volume was when we moved previously. We have bought some new items but not 3x the amount of stuff. When we questioned them about this they simply said "you have more items listed". But our previous company would list - Bed where as these movers list all the parts of your bed creating more items.

Our experience has been that they will do whatever they can to inflate the price and then be extremely unreasonable and uncommunicative in resolving the matter.

In the end we were forced to contact another more reliable shipping company to collect the goods from them.

This feedback isn't correct.
We packed and picked up 100 items (has a written inventory), placing items on pallets, and provide a warehouse dock receipt with proof of the total volume of the shipment.
After we provided the client with the warehouse dock receipt, the client sent their origin items list, they had 60 items and we packed 100.
When we 1st contact the client, we offered a free virtual tour for a more accurate estimate.
We followed our signed contract and will be glad to share all the proof of the signed contract, inventory list, and copy of the warehouse dock receipt, Our signed contract explained how the final measurement will be taken after goods are placed on the pallets.
We charge for the additional volume (CF) as per the signed contract.
Picture of each pallet provided to the client as well.
The client failed to inform that she purchases many new furniture.
client furniture (bookcases, bed) has been disassembled, all written clearly on the inventory list.

US to Europe move (2020)

I moved from the Midwestern US to Austria, and chose to pack everything myself. Thanks to International Movers Network, the transfer of my items was one of the easiest parts of my international move during the pandemic.

I appreciated that the handlers both in the US and in Austria were professional, swift and careful. Literally all the content, including my full set of wine glasses, arrived 100% in tact. Communications with John & the team were always prompt and helpful; I felt my shipment was in good care throughout every step of the way. I would definitely recommend International Movers Network when the opportunity arises again!

Terrible Experience—Strongly Discourage!

The ONLY positive thing I can say about International Movers Network is that they are CHEAP—but you get what you pay for.

I had numerous conversations with IMN prior to my move indicating that I intended to move a valuable painting which was a precious family heirloom. They offered to move it for me in a custom-built crate for an extra $300. I agreed and provided precise measurements. On moving day, they showed up WITHOUT the crate, and when I called their manager he insisted that it would be built in the warehouse which he said was “how they always do it.” Put on the spot like that, at the last minute, days before my departure, I did not know what else to do but agree.

Months later when my shipment arrived and I removed the painting from the crate, there was a LARGE PUNCTURE through the center of the painting that only could have occurred prior to it being put inside the crate. I immediately called IMN and they were “very sorry” but offered to do absolutely nothing about it, insisting that I speak with the insurer. It was at this point, to my distress, that I realized that I had never seen a copy of the policy I had purchased. I demanded that they send me a copy, which they did, and it was ONLY THEN that I read that the policy DID NOT COVER FINE ART! Now, I fully realize that I should have requested to read the policy before purchasing it, but at the time, exhausted and overwhelmed with the details of moving myself and my family abroad, I had trusted IMN to convey the necessary information. They did not.

I followed up with numerous emails to them to complain about the lack of information and transparency, hoping that they would at least attempt to make it right by offering to refund some portion of what I paid them. Instead, each time they responded by INVALIDATING and CONTRADICTING each and every thing I had to say (just as they appear to do in response to negative reviews). In fact, IMN repeatedly insinuated that it was MY fault for purchasing the wrong insurance, which they claimed to have explained in detail to me. They did not (in fact, when questioned, the agent who “explained” it to me was unable to articulate the basic differences between the two policies they sell). Given we had had NUMEROUS conversations about the painting—which was (WAS!) far and away my most valuable possession—you would think that they would have had the good sense and decency to recommend a policy that would cover damage to paintings! They did not.

When you are in the middle of a stressful move, particularly an international move, your time and energy are spread extremely thin. You need a moving company that you can trust not only to protect your valued belongings, but also to care about YOU, take the time to understand your needs, and go the extra mile to meet them. It’s worth paying a little extra for the privilege.

Ultimately, the money I saved by going with IMN has cost me dearly. I regret each and every day my choice to hire them.

We were anxious about moving a large group of artworks overseas, but need not have worried. They arrived on time, well packaged and in great condition, at a very reasonable cost. We will definitely use International Movers again.

Alot of goods damaged - insurance wont pay

I relocated from Illinois, USA to Sydney, Australia and IMN moved my goods. There was about $6000 worth of damage and 6months later the insurance company (Custard Insurance Adjusters) want to pay $500 for the damage!
IMN has not helped with the claim at all, even though they were meant to be the only point of contact for the move.
Instead i have had to deal with 4 different companies for the move and insurance claim.
Stay away from this company!

The estimate for the repair was provided but the repair wasn't possible and a new estimate was supplied at half the amount of damage ($3000) when the total damage was at $6000. Insurance refuses to repair or pay out the damages. Additionally from the $1500 offered they want $660 as admin fee's.
IMN did nothing until I told them I was meant to deal only with them and not the insurance company (also have proof in email). They only started replying to some emails as of oct 2019.

Really easy to work with company

Really easy to work with company that helped me ship some items to Australia. Free quotes. By plane is the fastest option, which I chose. Door to door all the way to the other side of the planet! NOTE - Items are charged by weight for plane shipments so the heavier the move is the pricier it will be. By ship is only by how much space the items take up. Words can't show how thankful I am for…

Words can't show how thankful I am for this company! I was going to move from NY to London and it was pretty stressful. But the guys from this company showed me that there was nothing to worry about. The guys are great at their job, I talked to them 2 days before the moving. They showed up on time, packed everything very well and quickly. They were also very fun and friendly, very well mannered. I honestly thought that the moving process is stressful by default but those guys made me change my mind! I was presently surprised how quickly stuff was moved to London, they had great prices too! If you want a job well done without breaking your back or a sweat then these are your guys. It's stressful enough making a large move but this team really broke their backs (pun intended) to make sure I didn't. I highly recommend their services, truly a stand up team.

Worth every star

Worth every star! I spoke with multiple moving companies but once I spoke with John, I knew I had come to the right company. John was honest, straightforward, friendly, and his understanding of the business and customer service is on point that blew me away! You can tell he cares about his clients. His prices were very competitive as well compared to all the others. The day of the delivery, his two men made my delivery easy, and were very efficient in dissembling and packaging everything to, I guess what you would call, "Packaging/Moving code." No damages were done, and they were very efficient with time. Professional all way, and friendly as well. If you want a moving company, look no further, this is the company to go with!!! I'll definitely be a future client, and would go no where else.

I have dealt with a moving company…

I have dealt with a moving company before and the overall costs was WAY overpriced, which was why I was skeptical about moving again. However, I was moving to a bigger apartment and after a whole year of buying new things and clothes, it was impossible to be all moved out in such short time.
I had to travel for work so the move had to be done ASAP. I was referred by a friend of mine and she said that this company was good and affordable. First impression was Great! They answered the phone and gave me an estimate that was within range of my budget. When the movers arrived, they asked me what rooms needed to be cleared out first and were very organized throughout the move. They worked together and got it done in perfect timing and on my part, I barely had to do a thing. I dodged a huge amount of stress which was awesome with my work trip coming up the next day. Great work and awesome performance.

Beyond amazing service!!!

Beyond amazing service! I'll start off by saying that moving is a nightmare, no one wants to do it; now add moving to another state during the holidays. I didn't want to spend a ton of money moving from one state to the other, and everywhere I looked, it was outrageous pricing and bad customer service. I decided to try this place and I can't believe I waited so long, because these guys are the real deal! They are extremely professional movers, their communication was top notch, and they really helped ease my concerns and stress with moving; they actually made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. Everything was packed professionally with care, pick ups and delivery times were right on target. When I got my stuff, every single item was in one piece! I highly recommend this place and I can't thank them m enough for what they did for me.

Friendly and caring service!

I have to move from the New York to Germany and International Movers Network Inc is by far the best company in my experience for moving overseas. Email were answered within minutes, I thought at times these employees don't sleep since even late in the evening my concerns were addressed. An all-time first that nothing was lost and the arrival dates for delivery were what I was told they would be. Most importantly, the movers that they work with overseas are fantastic and trustworthy. Very Responsive and Informative

worst removal company I’ve ever come in contact with

I would not recommend these people to anyone it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had moving furniture firstly they quoted me a price then once they had possession of my furniture they doubled the fee then they told me delivery would be 6/8 weeks it took more like 6 months not only this but they actually sent my furniture to a different continent then when it eventually arrived it was damaged beyond repair and when I complained John told me I didn’t take the insurance option so there was no compensation to be had and he hoped I could get a carpenter that would repair it at little cost these people couldn’t care less my furniture went from Florida to Qatar then to me in the UK it took 6 months and they take no responsibility absolutely appalling behaviour on their part wish I’d never heard of them

Indeed, the port warehouse made an error and switched your shipment with another shipment to Qatar.
As soon as we noticed this matter, IMN did all that we could have done and made sure that your shipment was loaded onto the next available vessel ASAP from Qatar to the UK without any additional fees.
We are truly sorry for the delay, it was a human error that was fixed and corrected by us immediately.
After you received your goods, you claimed their were damages.
The damages don’t prevent you from using your goods.
At the time you signed the contract, you declined the option to purchase insurance.
On 9/20/2018, John advised you there was an additional handyman fee, as of today, we have yet to receive payment for you for the additional handyman service that was not part of the contract we agreed upon.
