Avoid. Received a letter threatening legal action if I didn’t pay a cancellation fee for a policy I no longer needed. This was the first letter I received regarding this matter. Charming.

Useless does not help
I am paying £50+ a year and they couldnt even answer an enquiry saying I will be charged more. Whats the point. This would have been the 2nd year I would have been with them. A waste do not recommend.
Unwanted calls
Tried getting a quote online. Did not enjoy the online experience and as such wanted to have nothing to do with the company. Did not complete/submit the form.
Received unannounced call the next day. Apparently they have stored all my data anyway and decided to call me. I do not understand how anyone could jump from "they decided not to go through with us" to "let's call them to promote our services anyway". Annoying.

I contacted Insync for a quote and spoke to a customer service agent. We arranged a day and time for me to speak to the sales team to get a quote, the customer service agent rang at the time but then no one from sales was available so i had to wait for them to call back when someone was available.
The sales person I spoke to seemed completely uninterested in speaking with me. They weren’t very helpful when I asked questions and were quite dismissive. The tone felt quite judgemental and they dismissed my concerns.
I decided they weren’t the company for me and couldn’t help me. Again, they continued to be completed uninterested.
Just a disappointing experience when you’re trying to get a quote.
Good Service.
They reminded me my public liability was due for renewal in good time. They contacted me by phone when I missed the email. Being pretty much retired now they reviewed my policy. In an age where companies don't care, this company is a pleasant change. Well done Insync Insurance.
Awful company
I took out medical indemnity insurance with this company with a monthly payment. They took the first payment and then sent me a link to set up my direct debit. They link to set up direct debit didn’t work and when I tried to call them I spoke to two very confused people and the second one put the phone down on me. I then received an email saying my policy had been cancelled and I owed £45 admin fee. When I called up the company again they claimed they had no knowledge of me ever calling and would investigate however their investigation was over a few days later and they emailed to say there was nothing they could do and they said I still owed £45. I was going to just pay the £45 but the link to pay that doesn’t work either. I’m sure this isn’t even a real company at this point.
Terrible customer service
I had a very disappointing experience speaking with this insurance company as a new customer. I expected patience, clarity, and a willingness to support someone trying to understand their options, especially when dealing with something as important as business insurance.
Instead, I felt rushed, misunderstood, and unsupported. The representative didn’t seem prepared to handle my enquiry, and there was little effort to guide me through the process. Most frustratingly, my detailed request email was not even read before the call, which made the conversation confusing and unproductive.
I do not recommend this company based on my experience. If you're a small business or CIC just starting out and need someone to walk you through your options with care, this may not be the right place.
This company has been great throughout…
This company has been great throughout my policy til it was time to cancel. I’ve not needed this policy for a long time however totally understand contracts and was waiting to cancel when it ended. Unfortunately fell extremely ill and have been in and out of hospital unable to do anything for myself for a long time now. Upon cancelling I’ve been informed of a £30 admin fee just to cancel the account on top of a £35.66 payment outstanding but not informed of where the outstanding payment has come from? Absolutely disgusted with this company as they auto renewed my policy and now want me to pay for this still when I’ve been continuing to pay for additional months I wasn’t even aware of due to sickness.
Awful such poor communication
Awful no way of contacting them except via a message page on their website. You then get an email to ask your question. Then you wait for days for a response, even tho I sent multiple emails. Awful company, lucky for
Me I was still in my cool off period and it was worth paying the admin fee
to leave such an awful insurance
Company.
Terrible new customer service
Following an online quote I was contacted by a member of a customer service team, advising me that as it was more than one month from when I would like my insurance to start they would arrange a call back.
This appointment was booked, I arranged to take two hours off work to take this call and arrange my insurance. This morning as planned I was called, went through all my details to be advised I needed to speak with a sales a colleague and was put on hold.
Eventually after being on hold, I was advised all sales colleagues were busy and advised I would need to arrange a further call back. The only time I could make was during my lunch break.
A second call was received from the customer service agent at the second agreed time, to inform me that the sales team were still 'too busy' to take my call.
I totally appreciate pressures on services, however I did not feel it was acceptable to be told that my schedule was the issue and that I was 'told' the 'convenient times'.
I am absolutely astounded at the unprofessional attitude of the customer service agent representative your service from the point of a potential new customer !
Trying to navigate how the process worked and explaining that I would need to take more time off work to arrange a further call. I was basically sighed at down the telephone and the agent could not have sounded more inconvenienced if they tried!
I was not given the opportunity to escalate or find out when would be a good time for a new customer quote as they put the phone down after saying, oh well we can't help you if you aren't able to fit into when we can call you!!
I tried to call the complaints team to provide feedback, rather than leave a public review.....that number is not in service.
I tried the WhatsApp- no reply.
On calling the direct number back, I immediately got through to a sales agent, who told me that he was able to provide a quote if I still wanted it, equally as bored sounding! When I explained I would like to provide some feedback on my negative experience directly rather than on a public platform, I was met with further expressions of uninterest.
I am more than happy to provide further personal details of my experience with your representatives today rather than via a public forum if anyone at Insync can be 'bothered'!

Had the pleasure of dealing with Georgie Lock today, I phoned in with a query Georgie resolved this immediately, she then realised we were due a £71.00 refund. Couldn’t ask for better service thank you.
Would give zero stars if there was an option!
Wish I'd seen all the rubbish reviews before buying Insync insurance! Two payments cancelled by the company but are now pending to come out of my bank account! Would give zero stars if there was an option!
Worst insurance brokers ever
Worst insurance brokers ever, I can not even put it into words what a mess they are. I wouldn't go anywhere near them even if they provide free services.
Shady company
The first two years were without incident and I was fine with the service until the 3rd year renewal. Suddenly the price was doubled and taken from my bank without any renewal email being sent to me. Even though on the 1st renewal the price wasn't changed and I was sent an email that time. When I called to ask about the dramatic increase the man lied to me and said there had been a price input wrong last year (even though that was simply a renewal of the previous years policy). I couldn't afford to pay what they were asking for so needed to cancel and go with towergate at a third of the price for a much better policy. So it's not like I was asking for an unreasonable price. The price I am paying now is waaay cheaper than I originally paid the other years. Just wish I insured with them from the start! The real issue that I have a massive problem with came about when the guy started saying if I cancel my policy and need to make a backdated claim from the time I was insured with insync, then I won't be covered because they only pay out on current policy holders. Like wtaf?! Is that even legal? What have I paid all that money for?????!!!! It was waaay more than the going rate for that policy and now it's been voided from the start because I changed insurance. Just with them suddenly putting the price up like that it seems like blackmail, entrapment or profiteering, all of which are illegal activities. I am contacting the financial ombudsman and getting legal advice to see if there's anything I can do, but it's in the policy so I'm knackered I think. Just don't make my mistake. They have 2 stars here for a very very good reason. They are con artists and bullies. I'm not dropping this unless I get refunded for the past two years I am now uninsured for, or can get assurance that I am insured for those two years.
So basically I've not been insured for the last two years because I chose a shady company!!! I've booked the rest of my day out to review this company anywhere I can. Don't want people falling for the same con as me!

Karolis at Insync was fantastic at sorting out our insurance. Our current insurance company stopped covering bars and there was a fraudulent claim in court which meant most insurers would either not quote or would want thousands to cover a small bar. He persisted in looking and talking to companies I can't praise him enough has saved us a small fortune
I would recommend them and don't understand the negative reviews
