1 Star to much for this awful company - quick enough to take your money but oh wow different scenario when you try to get your car recovered to your chosen garage for Generali to then fail to deliver your car to said garage - said we have to wait 5 days 😂😂 what a crock of 💩GENERALI 🤬🤬
As previously mentioned They are helpful and friendly whilst selling you a product, and sadly it ends there.
Plus having two employees write 5* reviews shows how desperate they are.
I have been fobbed of and they are determined not to issue me with a refund for the remainder of the canceled policy.
Very unwilling to help and are not interested in trying to resolve the
Problem just coming up with different excuses not very convincing.
Save yourself the Agrovation and use a different company.
Amused by the fact that 2 of the submitted reviews are by employees of the company, James Graham and Jayne Wintle !! Avoid this company as they are totally inept with both communication and help. We were not informed that the insurance company had changed from Liberty to Generali and our recent experience after a car break down was appalling. We have received no reminder that either our house insurance was due for renewal 2 weeks ago, and one vehicle (out of 3 cars insured with them) has also lapsed. They are helpful and friendly whilst selling you a product, and sadly it ends there.
Wonderful staff and a great service. A special thank you also to Jayne Wintle for her advice with our house and car insurance. Every email and phone call we have had, she is always so efficient and knowledgable, and very friendly explaining things through for us. Thanks for so much!
Great advice, service and a very competitive price for my holiday villa insurance. Gemma Green is very helpful and knowledgeable - even responding to my messages from home and setting up my policy at 21:00 when I realised it expired that midnight!
Having just arrived back in the country from a weeks holiday abroad, my car seized up due to torrential floods, and was stuck in airport carpark... Awful! Have to say, the service I received was top class. Thank you Gemma for saving the day, saving an exhausted single mum (with her two babies) from a hell of a days stress. I was at the point of tears until Gemma took over and made things right. The grua man was top quality as well.

Following my previous review and continuing to drive a seriously damaged vehicle; unbelievably, I have just received a message from this broker to inform me that my insurance is coming up for renewal. They then told me that they could not offer me cover. To be fair, the previous years premium seems a waste of money, as no resolution had been negotiated in regards to my claim, last December. I, therefore had no intention of asking to be treated like that for a further year.

Dear Mr Porter, I am sorry to hear that this is the case. Due to circumstances beyond our control, between you, the garage and the insurance company over your previous car insurance claim, the insurance company have refused to offer you renewal insurance. Although we might be able to offer insurance with another insurance company, we feel that it best you look elsewhere.
I contacted the company by email sending all the requested information and they never bothered to reply despite reminders.
If they were able to ask for details clearly email was working so I can only presume they are rude and unprofessional.
Their loss.

I posted this review months ago so I am not sure why I got a reply now unless it’s just damage limitation.
Firstly if you sent several emails they would have arrived. Secondly I have always had a phone in fact I have two. When sending an email and not requiring a phone call it would be pointless to add a phone number.
I anticipate the reason you did not bother to reply is because bicycle insurance in Spain is like gold dust, you won’t find any.
Given my bicycles costs more than normal people spend on cars I found them impossible to insure as do other cyclists.
My opinion of your service has not changed, except to say that the response was polite though factually dubious.

I sent you an email, you replied asking for bike and personal information which I supplied but I heard no more despite a reminder.
I have no malice but I also feel you are making it my problem when your mail cannot enter a junk or spam folder as that’s not how my system is set up.
People who send emails don’t necessarily want phone calls initially or in cases where written proof is beneficial.
I appreciate the offers of a discount etc. but it was never about money, I put high value on service and on this occasion perhaps I was just unlucky.

Hi Howard, thanks for your prompt response. Bicycle insurance is like gold dust in Spain, which is why we went to so much trouble to source it for our clients. Cycling is one of Spain's favourite pastimes. We have a copy of your email enquiry clearly stating you didn't have a phone at the time, and emails that were sent to you but probably went into your junk folder or to an erroneous email address. We tried, thats the best we can do. We are sorry that you found it necessary to post a poor rating without getting back to us first. We work hard for our reputation, and all i can do is apologise that the email address you gave us to reply to, did not reach you.
Dear Howard, My sincere apologies if you did not receive the email reply to your request for our bicycle insurance. We did try several times. Your enquiry was on the Saturday morning and the email was sent by return first thing Monday morning. We were unable to contact you by phone as you didn't have one at the time. After several attempts and no replies we had no choice but to hope that you contacted us again in the future, Unfortunately this was not the case.
However, i do hope that your were able to find the insurance you required and if you contact us for the renewal, I will personally make sure that you are given the full discounts that we can apply to your policy and an extra discount for any inconvenience caused to you at the time. We are a very professional Company and we like to make sure that we do get back to our customers when we say we do. The staff are lovely, talked me through what i needed to know and didn't hassle or hound me to take out the policy.
Great service and friendly staff. My insurance was dealt with in a very professional and prompt manner. I was given some good advice and all my questions were answered.
