Wish I could give 0 stars, or a negative score. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Inspire were SHOCKING, didn't deal with my claim, I ended up being summoned to County Court. They failed to pay the other insurance company and ignored contact from them and me. They just ignored my written complaints to their complaint dept. I eventually had to write to the Financial Ombudsman to get compensation. I had reported my accident straight away to my insurance company/broker - Inspire Claims dealt with the claims when you are at fault, they used a different company for accidents when you were not. I was not disputing being the at fault driver and just wanted to process everything via the insurance company. Believe they are Cogent Motor Insurance now - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Absolutely shocking company, hours to get through on the phone and rude and incompetent staff, fob you off with lies, 4 weeks since filing a claim and still no nearer to getting my car fixed!! Avoid this company at all costs

The only viable option left is to go through the financial ombudsman in order to resolve a claim from Inspire / Cogent motor insurance. Repeatedly lied to and mislead. They will intentionally withhold fair payment and drag the process out, there is no low they would not stoop to in order to avoid paying out. Hold times of over an hour. Avoid Cogent / Inspire at all costs.

Customer service is appalling! They don’t update you, AVOID at all costs!

holy crap. useless. didn't pick my car up for 5 days so it sat in a car park being robbed and fined.
TAKEN MONTHS and still no payout - without a car and work for months.
If i call for an update they outright lie to me. I called earlier and they told me a manager would ring me back - i ring 2 hours later and im told the manager ISNT EVEN IN!

They are absolutely horrible! Customer service hang up on you!!! Then lie that they didn't even talk to you! I was advised they would waiver the excess fee over the phone because of all the trouble I had before hand,only to be told there's no evidence of that! Told them to check the recorded call log.i reported car wasnt safe to drive as was making noise (plus 6 month pregnant at the time didnt feel safe driving it) they had it down as ok to drive! Took them over 2 weeks to get someone to actually look at the car, then another 2 weeks to have it in for repair. My accident was on the 18th March2022 and my car still hasn't been sorted completely! I have no faith that my claim will be sorted. Just don't use please.

Only put the one coz u have to 2 write review. They do worst job ever,ride it out as long as they can then encourage you after blatantly lying and decieving you to contact ombudsman who are clearly already aware. I think they work alongside insurance myself..go to court with evidence and get max for your claim. Prove the scallys who put your insurance through the roof are to blame. We don't like frauds!! Need to take responsibility properly. This is why there are so many bad drivers on the road!!!!

COGENT AND INSPIRE CLAIMS. UNDERWRITE OR OWN WOOP AND YOYO - IM NOT SURE, BUT THEY'RE ALL LINKED.
They will insure you cheaply and possibly be fine if you don't have an accident.
If you get hit by some idiot driving on the wrong side of the road, they will a) try to convince you to take some OR all responsibility for the accident, b) tell you your independent witness's statement was just 'his opinion' c) try to convince you that a judge in court would say 'case law' suggests you'll be found liable (though in your favour) 30/70 when a 2 year old (in my view) would know the ridiculousness of such an idea. No one in the right mine would condone the behaviour of the nutter that crashed into my daughter. This company suggests these people driving inappropriately should be let off 30% of the time! We are left with our daughter's case 'pending' and 'unsettled' 17 months after the accident. Guess what that means. That her insurance premium goes up from £60 to £150 x 17 months! What incentive do Cogent, Inspire claims have to sort this out?? They're not, when they're being paid so highly now. On renewal with their new company YOYO, they let her policy lapse. Surely this is illegal. The letter they wrote informing her of this was dated 5th July, it arrived several days later than this, actually after her renewal date. This was after Woop had reassured her, after the company turns into YOYO nothing would change, no action required, and that she wouldn't be left uninsured! And she was! This is surely a job for the regulators to take a look at.
We're now with a reputable insurer, now paying £250 a month insurance for her, but at least we feel we can trust them. How long will we be paying these high premiums. No one can tell us. We have no idea how to fix this situation. My daughter is now regarded high risk because she was unlucky enough to be hit by some absolute nutter, who Inspire Claims refuse to take to task or ask responsibility of, or even act on behalf of or represent our daughter reasonably .
I will be pursuing this with a vengeance. We are left feeling a miscarriage of justice has happened, that we're lucky our daughter was not maimed or worse, god forbid.
DON'T TRUST YOUR CHILDREN'S LIVES WITH THESE COWBOYS. If anything terrible happens, you will be left to hang out to dry!

Absolutely awful service, I had car insurance by IGO4 and had to use these people for my claim when my car was stolen. It's taken 4 months to process my claim and even now when we have finally agreed to a payment amount they are digging their heels in and simply NOT GIVING ME MY MONEY.
The whole process has been a mess from the way they have tried to imply that the car being stolen was my fault, to how they have constantly lied about the decisions being made in my case and now after four months they keep saying payment will be tomorrow, or payment will be in 48 hours or payment will be on March 10th - BASICALLY I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING.
I've had to make over 15 calls to this company, they NEVER ring you back and make excuse after excuse for their woefully poor service. I will NEVER use any insurance provider who is affiliated with this company ever again and it will be the first question I ask when I renew my insurance.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I had my car stolen in March, I had a flat tyre and parked my vehicle in a legal public parking area and returned this next day and my vehicle was gone. Inspire are awful in communicating, I constantly have to chase them, I have provided all information that has been asked for, emails and phone calls constantly ignored. My claims handler has lied and fabricated information. I was asked to post my keys and documents during lockdown and it was RECOMMENDED to use recorded delivery, I explained I couldn’t do this as I couldn’t get to a post office during lockdown with two children and not having a vehicle (my policy didn’t have a courtesy vehicle) the email explaining my dilemma was also ignored and the items were posted. Inspire now claim these weren’t received, despite me asking them to send a courier to collect them. Inspire have also been provided with details of 5 other vehicles stolen in my area within the same month as mine was, this email was again...ignored. 4 months on I have been informed inspire won’t settle as I had abandoned my vehicle, which isn’t true as my vehicle wasn’t road worthy and was parked perfectly fine. My appeal email has been ignored. I am now seeking legal advice. Please if you want a hassle free life, don’t insure your vehicle with inspire. I have 7 years no claims and haven’t ever claimed from the insurance company.

Had to deal with Inspire Claims who in some way are connected to Cogent and also Woop car insurance I believe? IF you can get through on the phone, they are evasive, do not follow up on promises and generally make things as difficult as possible, probably in the hope that you will give up. After many emails and phone calls they eventually agreed to settle a claim, but then failed to do that. Again many phone calls and emails later they eventually paid. I would avoid this business like the plague.

I had an accident 25th October, Friday night. It was recovered by the police, the only people that actually done something.
Almost a week on now, and I don't even know if my car is beyond economical repair or if it'll be repaired. No communication, I've been the middle man doing THERE JOB for them, by contacting 3 different call centres, or getting switched over just to be cut off and have to wait in line again and to go over all security details again!!!
To top it off they were going to give me a courtesy car, but because I'm from "Scotland" and the accident happened in England, I apparently couldn't get one due to a mileage limit. Which is a blatant lie as I checked my contract and with someone and they confirmed that's the first they have ever heard of that. So what if I stayed in England and my work was a 100 mile return journey everyday, I guess you can't give someone a courtesy car either or is this about the whole Scotland/English thing because that's how it comes across. Very prejudiced in terms of attitude and values. So I've had to hire a car out my OWN pocket and they won't reimburse that?
So I'm out of pocket, don't know what's up with my car and been left as a middle man doing there job. And they call this (fully comprehensive)... More like fully work it out yourself.

when getting a quote for insurance they seem like a good professional company and was happy to go with them I completely regret it now. Making a claim with them is an absolute nightmare and they make up reason to delay paying out. I don’t normally call people out but the service I received from one of the claim handlers Ian Huddlestone was absolutely horrible how he is allowed to speak to customers is beyond me.
