Another customer who wished they’d read the reviews! I placed my order in October 2025 for 3 items that should have been Christmas gifts. When I first chased in in December, I was told there was a 12 week leadtime, so thought they could be birthday gifts. I then chased again early Feb and was told they were “on the way”. We’re now in March and I still do not have the items or a refund. Have sent another email tonight to chase the refund, I won’t hold my breath…

I too wish I had read the reviews before ordering but I like to use and promote small businesses and so didn’t for one minute think this would happen. I placed an order in November 2025 and had speedy replies to the first couple of emails I sent even being told that my order was on its way on 13th February and should be with me imminently. It’s now the 26th and there’s no sign. No tracking details or delivery status and no response when querying where my order is. Refund requested so fingers crossed.

I'm so sad to write this as small businesses really have to work hard for their custom, however I wish I had read all the other negative reviews before ordering, as my experience was no better.

I placed an order for 4 items in October, 3 of which were Christmas presents. I emailed Lauren and asked if they would arrive in time for Christmas and she replied quickly to say they were on her list for Christmas delivery.
I emailed again on the 18th December to check if it was still on track to be posted and was told it was being sent on Saturday 20th December. I checked my account details on 22nd December and the status of my order was still unfulfilled.
I emailed again on 23rd December to ask for the tracking details and was assured my order had been sent on Saturday 20th by Royal Mail, but she was out of the office and couldn't provide the tracking details, but might be able to send them over later on that day. The tracking details were not sent.

Christmas came and went with no sign of my order, but I gave Lauren the benefit of the doubt to see if it had been held up in the Christmas post.
On 2nd January I emailed and explained that my order still hadn't arrived and asked Lauren for the tracking details or proof of delivery. This email was ignored. I asked again on 6th January, and this email was also ignored.

I waited until 14th January, so that it was over the 12 week time period advertised on the website and asked for a refund in full.
Lauren replied on 15th January to say she was 'away at the moment' but would process my refund and was opening a claim with Royal Mail. She then asked me to confirm my address details as 'she'd had a few missing parcels from early December returned that have had address errors on'.
I replied and confirmed that the address details on my account were correct and asked for the tracking details (for the fourth time) so I could check them myself or see who had signed for the parcel, but of course this request was ignored again.
No other company I have ordered from has ever refused to share tracking details when a parcel is shipped, which only leads me to believe that the order was never sent.

I am just thankful that I have now received a refund in full.

Placed an order in August 25 & still haven’t received it. Had 2 replies via email and now nothing. Very disappointed.

Ordered way back in July and still haven’t received my order. I tried to contact the company a week ago and still haven’t received a reply from them. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Please avoid!!

Ordered twice with this website, first time ordering it took 5/6 months to arrive after persistent emailing. I loved the order and thought benefit of the doubt, ordered again with the fiver Friday deal and another gift in July.. still have no received anything? Was told start of November it would be sent off the following week, since then I have not heard anything since.

Unprofessional and unresponsive seller.

Ordered in July with 12 week lead time and here we are 18 weeks later and almost £50 down with no goods

Ive 3 orders from fiver Fridays, one placed in April, which was marked as fulfilled I don’t have it. One place in May for my mums birthday, apparently that arrived, and one placed in June (a pumpkin) I emailed to make sure my mums would arrive in time. I believe it has. I emailed again asking where the first order is as it says fulfilled, my mums order was not fulfilled which I queried, I was told the pumpkin would ship yesterday and she’d look into the one that I don’t have. Pumpkin hasn’t shipped, I’ve had no reply as to where the missing one is but the one for my mum which wasn’t marked as fulfilled now is. I’ll be taking it up with my bank this week for a refund.

I placed an order for a book mark on 16th May and still haven't received it. I have sent a couple of emails chasing as its been 17 weeks (5 weeks more than advised) and have had no response. I will be making a claim via my bank, its not a huge amount of money but its my money and I havent received what I have paid for. I woild avoid

Terrible service , doesn’t reply to emails I had to wait 20 weeks for my order.
However the product is lovely just pitty about lack of communication and such a long wait.

2 orders have now not arrived. First one rectified and refunded, second one I received a reply saying she would look into the Royal Mail and has never responded since. Gives small businesses a bad name. Fiver Friday offers are bloody pointless when you cant fulfil the orders 🙃

Terrible! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I ordered in March 2025 and like many others I never received my order - like most other people reviewing here the company have failed to respond to multiple emails asking where my order is 4 months later. Please please don’t waste your money on any product from this site. She sells on Etsy too.

Update 16 July - my order actually arrived after writing this review! My emails apparently went to an unused mailbox.

Ordered for Father’s Day, didn’t realise my mistake on the order. Helped me sort it out on the same day I emailed and got another shipped out to me. Definitely order again and definitely will be telling others about this company!

I ordered on the 6th of February 2025 I spent £30 and still haven’t received my order. Disappointing very disappointing

3rd order from my favourite small business.

The perfect personalised gifts, they arrived so nicely packaged too. Makes them feel extra special. She always puts in so much effort, it’s what I love about buying from small businesses.

I placed my order in September - here we are 5 months later and I'm still battling the company - absolutely ludicrous. I wouldn't mind not receiving my goods if there was a genuine reason and id seen a refund or replacement, but their lack of customer service is almost concerning. I have chased and chased them now for months, to be either fobbed off or ignored. It's people like you that give small businesses a bad name.

Avoid this company at all costs - you literally might as well flush your money down the toilet, it ends up at the same place it seems!!!!

Unfortunately never received my order placed in May 2024, I chased in October, November, December and now In January but my emails of late have been ignored. Luckily I hadn't spent much but I'm gutted that I have never received my order and looks like I'm not the only one to have wasted money

Ordered multiple wire pet names as they are such a lovely item and make an amazing gift - all my family and friend recipients loved them! I emailed Lauren to double check whether they would arrive in time for a friend's birthday, she made sure they were dispatched in time and has always been professional, helpful and friendly in all correspondence. I've made multiple further orders for Christmas items and can't wait to receive them! Again, Lauren was amazing when I needed to make a few amendments to the order afterwards, always with a prompt and accommodating reply. Would not hesitate to recommend inotherwordsdesigns and their charming products. Thanks Lauren!

I’ve just received a huge order of Christmas decorations, I ordered for all our extended family and they are perfect. Thanks so much, my wife is over the moon with them.
