I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the support provided throughout the programme and examination process. I consistently felt well supported, and any concerns or questions I had were always addressed promptly and clearly by both Rihanna and Liz.

My experience with the Success platform was very positive, and I found the materials and guidance helpful and accessible. Communication leading up to the examination was also clear, timely, and informative, which contributed greatly to feeling prepared.

I would highly recommend this programme to others and truly value the quality of education and support provided.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved for providing such a positive and well-organised course experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time attending classes in Swindon and greatly appreciated the warm hospitality and support throughout my stay. I would also like to specifically thank Mel, who was always very attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, which was greatly appreciated.
I am also very grateful for the flexibility shown in accommodating my online attendance when required. This made a significant difference and demonstrated a genuine understanding of the practical challenges faced by those traveling from further afield and balancing professional commitments alongside further study.
I would particularly like to thank our course tutor, Sarah Heath. Her depth of knowledge and expertise in animal behaviour is outstanding, and learning from her was a privilege. Her reputation in this field was a major factor in my decision to choose this course, and it certainly lived up to my expectations.
The course content was highly relevant and immediately applicable to everyday veterinary nursing practice. It is a course I truly believe every veterinary practice would benefit from having a member of staff complete, given how closely it aligns with daily clinical work and patient care.

Easy to find and park. Great facilities to host or attend veterinary training. Staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The food supplied for lunch was extremely good with plenty of variety and options.

Quality of lecturing and education was excellent, however, the administration of the company is extremely poor.
There were multiple organisational errors during my course. I enrolled, my employer paid my fee, Improve confirmed my place on the course and then I received nothing on the start date, I had to chase Improve for access to the learning platform.
There was a 3 days practical course as part of my studies, Improve incorrectly assigned me to take this course with the class ahead of me instead of my own class, 1 year before I had covered the relevant material - I only realised this when I attended the practicals and spoke to others. When I finished my course and passed my exams Improve did not issue my certificate, when I chased them for this 7 months later I was told my fees had never been paid, when I gave them dates and invoice numbers to check the payment they then refused to speak further with me on GDPR grounds as my employer had sponsored my course, I had to contact my regional manager to get it sorted on my behalf.

Overall excellent education providers but their administration is terribly disorganised.

Our sanctuary has used the pet gifting programme for the last few animals that have passed away whilst in our care.
It is reassuring to know that, not only will their remains be treated with dignity and respect. They will also contribute towards teaching a new generation of vets how to care for and improve the welfare of all animals.

Such an incredible course for diagnostic imaging. The blended version was perfect for me. The tutors were fantastic on the whole very accommodating. Beth Dunne the course coordinator is brilliant. The team is just wonderful. I’m so glad to be part of this journey.

Our veterinary practice has worked in partnership with Improve Veterinary Education for several years now. Their pet gifting programme is invaluable to our clients and their support enables the families we serve to use our mobile service in the comfort of their home. Without the help of improve, many of the families we serve would not be able to access our home service.
Their staff (particularly Rachael Varney) are friendly, supportive and efficient – always getting back to us quickly with an answer to our questions. They handle sensitive matters with compassion and professionalism and have always met their obligations to us.

Absolutely amazing staff, big shout out to Melanie. She's the absolute star of the show and she literally is that person you can count on to help you navigate through any bump in the road. Very stressful last couple of weeks have been easier through all the panic moments because of Mel, always able to ease the stress.

Came to the Sheffield venue for a day course for nurses. Staff were lovely! Amy and Jade made me and my dog comfortable, looking after him during lectures. the course was very interesting and fun and food provided was amazing xx

Overall, loved the online surgical nursing certificate course. I would loved to have had some face to face days, but was not an option in Swindon at the time.
I loved the set up of the course modules, albeit, the imaging one was very challenging, particularly being taught by a veterinary surgeon- maybe more detail than needed?
Exam set up was scary at first as so different to what I am used to, but the ISVPS team were so helpful, Katie Pascoe was incredibly organised and answered my many questions and worries. At the start, the ISVPS's communication was quite poor to keep us in the loop about case report dates, making many of us a bit worried; however, the exam communication was excellent, possibly because the team had expanded by then and more people to organise everything.
There were a few issues with the course content, some mistakes made which was a little frustrating, but these were rectified once raised. I am a little disappointed to find some of these mistakes have been put into the course textbook, however.
I do also think that the time estimated to complete the lessons needs to be extended as took longer than suggested, leading to falling behind and missing out on the interaction of the last module.
Overall, a really informative course that helps develop the ways in which you view journal articles, questioning the evidence provided. I would recommend to anybody with an interest in surgical nursing.

Brilliant experience on optional modules for ECC Certificate. Two incredible lecturers who gave informative presentations, balanced with the most useful practical sessions i've ever attended. Really high quality learning opportunity, highly recommend.

The practical courses are highly useful. We work with state-of-the-art equipment, and Improve International makes a clear effort to ensure lessons are conducted ethically, particularly in regard to the dogs we work with. These are trained working dogs, and they are never sedated—always awake and cooperative during ultrasound examinations for ethical reasons. Most of them are very friendly and sit calmly throughout the procedure. (Dog kisses are our bonus!!)

The handouts are always relevant and well-structured, and the new facilities are equipped with the latest technology. The online classes include specialist-led videos and additional study materials, which are helpful for reinforcing theoretical knowledge. While hands-on practice remains essential, a strong theoretical foundation is always beneficial.

Overall, these lessons have significantly improved my confidence. Since they are designed for working veterinary surgeons, applying the newly learned skills in daily practice is essential. The goal is to make this knowledge second nature—turning it into "new muscle memory"—because ultrasound is all about practice, practice, practice.

The course was interesting and enlightening. The instructor made this as engaging as possible. The only negative was the lack of sufficient material on the second day which disallowed us to finish a few points

Really enjoyed this course. Tom was very down to earth, easy to chat to and a great teacher.
Much more confident now with schedule 3 and would be keen to return for the top up session! Could be beneficial to have the course split over 2 days as quite jam packed but very enjoyable none the less. Would recommend to anyone wanting to gain more experience in a great environment.

Varied course (Schedule 3 nursing) including a morning of theory and afternoon of practical. The hands on experience was great. My only criticism was the amount of content squeezed into one day- this meant unfortunately we didn't have enough practical time to complete everything taught.
