I used to love this soap bar but now it goes soft and soggy in a few days. I won’t buy it any more.

After purchasing the shower gel/foam aerosol which I absolutely adore, on 2 different cans the aerosol stopped working after merely a few uses. I didn’t think much about the 1st one, but when it happened with the 2nd one I contacted Imperial Leather direct. I was asked to return the item, paying for the packaging myself and they would investigate. I explained that I would need specific packaging to be able to return the item, which I had retained for them, but was told that I would have to source this.
I queried how they would compensate for the cost already incurred re the 2 faulty items and now the packaging materials needed, and they refrained from addressing this aspect. So I prompted this, along with the lack of customer service. This appeared to fall on deaf ears. Being a loyal customer clearly does not mean much to them.
I will therefore no longer be purchasing their products out of principal.
It appears a standard pre written response to email communication is used, and the ability to actually respond to concerns raised is a task too difficult.

What have you done to Imperial Leather??. Used to be a brilliant bar. lasts for ages. Smell awesome No more. Smaller bar and lasts a couple of washes. Used it my whole life. No more. Total Disappointment!.

The company could improve by bringing back the ingredients of the original bar. The new one which is now made in Thailand, is greasy, cracks and causes skin irritation. I have used Imperial Leather since a child and it is NOT the same

Best washing experience ever , their gel soap turns in to rich foam and it feels good on the body, not to mention the nice smell to goes along with it , would 100% recommend.

Imperial leather do a fantastic range of excellent quality products that I fully recommend!!
