I don't get why there's so many bad reviews. I go to the Wakefield one pretty regular and the blokes always sound, I usually get a triple foam wash which is okay. It's same as any automated car wash... Leggi di più

The forecourt car man couldn't even…
The forecourt car man couldn't even bring himself to speak to us. It was all grunts and hand gestures. And he could have warned us to bend our rear view mirrors in, as the car wash always pushes them in and i worry that's not good. I forget to do it, so a reminder would be useful.
And this time the wash wasn't its usual spotless self, but left streaks and water droplet marks all over the car. I had to use the wipers in the car to see clearly through the windscreens and get a cloth to the areas the wipers didn't reach and to the rear view mirrors.
Someone on the far end of the wash checking that you've got what you've paid for would help as this time i think i wasted my money.
UPDATE:
Thanks for the feedback. Usually, service etc here is great. This time, not so much. Hope it's back to normal next time we go in.

The gentleman who greeted me and used the pressure washer was pleasant and really thorough with the wheels. The car was really clean after the wash. I just needed to dry off the mirrors to prevent water marks.

Service was very easy to use
Service was very easy to use and the older gentleman was very polite and respectful.
Only issue i have with the service is twofold.
The first being the wheel trims never seem to get cleaned properly, there are always unsightly dirt marks on the even after using the £15 wash.
The second is is again with the £15 wash, once you finish, your car is left with unsightly water (drip) marks all over the body and windows leaving you to have to repolish your car once you get come even though you paid for the waxing service.
This is the only thing that prevents me from going to the next level and paying for the top service as although I don't mind paying the £15 charge i think its high for how your car comes out at the end hence the 3 starts (service by the older gentleman 5 stars)
